From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master

Chapter 225: All Cleared

When Lin Fan and Ho Ming got to one of the remaining corners of the city, the disciples in green robes were in the middle of setting up the formation array.

"Stop them!" The leader of the disciples shouted as he saw Lin Fan and Ho Ming approaching.

"Cover my back," Lin Fan said as he threw paper men at the disciples in green robes.

Ho Ming nodded, turned to his back, and dealt with the disciples coming at them from behind.

The paper men clung to the disciples' faces, and the disciples had to stop what they were doing to try and get them off.

Meanwhile, Lin Fan lunged at the leader of the disciples with his spear.

The leader tried to grab onto Lin Fan's spear with his green glowing hands.

But the next moment, the spear disappeared as Lin Fan stowed it into his toad statue.

He took out the Peach Wood Sword and stabbed it at the leader's neck instead.

It was over in a flash as Lin Fan was too quick for the leader.

"You..." The leader stuttered, trying to complete his sentence but couldn't.

Lin Fan pulled out the Peach Wood Sword and flicked it to get the blood off its surface.

[Ding! Congratulations on terminating malevolent intent.]

[Vengeance points + 200.]

[Current Vengeance Points: 4500]

By now he had accumulated quite a substantial amount of vengeance points.

With the leader being defeated, Lin Fan went on to deal with the rest of the disciples in green robes.

One after another, they were taken care of with the Peach Wood Sword.

The disciples died with their eyes open, with astonishment at why their spirit extraction technique didn't work on Lin Fan.

When the remaining soldiers of Hong Feng City saw that the disciples were taken care of, they rallied behind Lin Fan and made a push back against the disciples of the Lady Saint.

"Kill these bastards!"

"My family is two streets away!"

"Fight back as it's now or never!"

Many had wounds with warm blood still dripping from them.

But the pain was nothing compared to what they had gone through.

The disciples were like monsters that had no fear or pain.

Lin Fan's presence and what he did made them realize that these monsters could be defeated.

They organized themselves and formed a line.

With their spears and swords, they marched forward to assist Ho Ming in his fight against the disciples.

The tide was turning, and Lin Fan decided to see how Jian Xin was doing.

He leaped in Ho Ming's direction.

When he landed, he gave the disciple who was tussling with Ho Ming a frontal kick.

Thud.

The impact sent the disciple tumbling across the ground.

"Let's go," Lin Fan held onto Ho Ming and leaped into the air with his Chain Leap ability.

He stepped onto the air again, and they leaped horizontally across in the sky.

Lin Fan looked down and noticed that there weren't many disciples around in the city now.

It was a good sign that things might be over soon.

When they reached the last corner of the city, the fight wasn't over.

Jian Xin was holding his sword tightly; he was badly wounded with one of his eyes swollen and wounds all over his body.

He was staring intensely at the man in front of him.

The man's head was larger than normal, and his skin was pale white.

Jian Xin slashed his sword across, sending out a slicing wave at the big-headed man.

The big-headed man somersaulted and used his head to bounce on the ground, dodging the slicing wave from Jian Xin.

Whoosh.

He leaped into the air and, with his head down, came at Jian Xin. Explore hidden tales at My Virtual Library Empire

Jian Xin quickly used his sword and stabbed at the man's head.

Clank.

The sword couldn't penetrate the man's head.

It bent, and Jian Xin had to step to the side to avoid the fate of his sword breaking in half.

Boom.

The ground exploded when the man's head hit it.

A small crater was created from the impact.

Meanwhile, Lin Fan was done taking care of the disciples trying to set up the formation array.

He and Ho Ming were now able to help Jian Xin deal with the big-headed man.

Lin Fan swapped the Peach Wood Sword in his hand for his Dragon's Roar Spear.

He lunged at the big-headed man with the Dragon's Roar Thousand Thrust.

The slicing waves went at the big-headed man's head.

The big-headed man got up and somersaulted to his back.

He used his head to hit the ground, and then he bounced far away with it.

Boom.

The slicing waves from Lin Fan's attack hit the ground and caused another explosion.

Jian Xin took the opportunity and lunged at the big-headed man when he had just landed back on his feet.

He stabbed at the big-headed man's chest, aiming for his heart.

Chills could be felt as the sword emitted a blue glow.

Ice crystals formed in the air as Jian Xin's sword thrust forward.

"Argh."

The sword plunged into the big-headed man's chest, and he let out a cry of pain.

The big-headed man used his head to headbutt Jian Xin, trying to make him let go of his sword.

Thud.

Jian Xin took the blow to his head, and blood started to stream down his face.

But Jian Xin was determined to stop the big-headed man.

He injected more Qi into his sword, and frost started forming on the big-headed man's chest.

Slowly, the heart of the big-headed man got frozen, and his blood stopped circulating.

The big-headed man finally stopped moving, and Jian Xin pulled out his sword.

Huffing and puffing, he looked at Lin Fan.

"So much for your help. What took you so long?" Jian Xin said as he sat on the ground.

It was a long and hard battle for him.

"We had three corners of the city to deal with," Lin Fan shrugged and said.

The chaos had already died down with the formation array all destroyed, and soldiers from the nearby camp had arrived.

Lin Fan quickly took out a Heavenly Rejuvenate pill and swallowed it.
