From Beast Abilities to Sect Grand Master

And when he got into the air, he activated his Inferno Comet ability.

He turned into a fireball and shot at the Nine Headed Hydra like a comet.

Upon impact the fireball exploded, and the body of the Nine Headed Hydra was ripped into two halves.

Both halves wriggled.

Lin Fan saw that a head was slowly growing from the tail part, and a tail was slowly growing from the part with the heads.

But it was over for it as the magma in the crater burned the two halves.

Lin Fan then used his spear and lunged at one of the halves with the heads.

Splatter.

He thrust the spear into one of the heads and nailed it onto the crater.

It thrashed around and Lin Fan took out his hammers.

Swinging his hammers at the Nine Headed Hydra's body, Lin Fan ripped the body apart.

Splatter.

Every swing of his hammers smashed the body of the Nine Headed Hydra into a pulp.

Its flesh was sent flying like debris.

Splatter.

Lin Fan kept going and did not stop.

When the flesh got onto the magma in the crater, it was immediately burnt into ashes.

The other half of the Nine Headed Hydra had stopped moving as it slowly burnt away.

Finally, a familiar sound erupted in Lin Fan's mind.

He held onto what was left of the Nine Headed Hydra and leaped out of the riverbed.

After he deactivated the Hunting Ground ability, the water started to flow again from the waterfall into the river.

And soon, the riverbed couldn't be seen anymore.

Lin Fan took out a Heavenly Rejuvenate Pill and swallowed it.

Using the Hunting Ground ability had taken up half of his energy.

When his energy and Qi recovered, he sliced the body of the Nine Headed Hydra open.

Next to its demonic beast core, was a blue colored gland.

It was exactly like how Guo He Ru described it to him.

Lin Fan yanked out the demonic beast core and the gland and kept them in his storage artifact.

"Lin Fan." Lin Fan heard Ho Ming's voice from behind and he turned back.

Lin Fan had never been so glad for a very long time.

He walked over to Ho Ming and said, "Are you all right? You need some pills. Maybe it's better you take one Glorious Poison Recovery pill?"

He was concerned that the poisonous flowers might have other lingering effects.

Ho Ming shook his head and said, "Relax, I'm all right. The flowers just made me lose consciousness."

Lin Fan gave out a huge sigh and said, "Glad to hear that. Let's quickly get back to Qing Feng Sect."

He had seen enough of the North Realm with its strange ways.

Best for them to get back to Qing Feng Sect as soon as possible.

Zhang Yi Nian nodded, and they backtracked to where they came from.

Very soon, they got back to the small hill.

The snow was still blowing, and they continued their way ignoring what they saw on the way.

Zhang Yi Nian saw Zhang Xi in a dress, smiling at him.

Ho Jie waved at Lin Fan in the wooden hut.

And Ho Ming saw Ho Fu with his smoking pipe again.

Finally, when they reached the area where they were dispersed, Zhang Yi Nian pointed up in the sky.

A white glowing vortex was up high in the sky.

Lin Fan held onto Zhang Yi Nian and Ho Ming.

Using his Skybound Stride ability, he leaped upwards into the air.

After several leaps, he got near to the white glowing vortex.

Whoosh.

Everything turned into white when they entered the white glowing vortex.

And the next moment, they were at the entrance of the North Realm again.

"We're back!" Ho Ming exclaimed at the familiar sight.

Zhang Yi Nian took out the golden feather and threw it into the air.

After the golden feather turned large enough, they stepped onto it.

Soon, they whisked off into the air in the direction of the Qing Feng Sect.

Lin Fan, Ho Ming and Zhang Yi Nian got to the Alchemy Peak immediately after they arrived at the Qing Feng Sect.

Inside Guo He Ru's alchemy lab, he was busy preparing the herbs and ingredients to conjure a pill for Zhao Ming Ye.

He paced around as he anxiously waited for the last ingredient.

When he heard footsteps coming into his alchemy lab, he shouted, "Go away, don't disturb me."

Thinking that it was pesky visitors trying to figure out his progress again, he tried to shoo them away.

"Guo He Ru, didn't know I wasn't welcomed," Lin Fan said as he walked into the alchemy lab with Ho Ming and Zhang Yi Nian.

Guo He Ru opened his eyes wide upon hearing Lin Fan's voice.

He quickly walked up to him and asked, "How was it? Were you able to get it?"

Lin Fan's eyes darted to the left and right.

"It's all right, there's no one else inside here. I've asked all my disciples to go away. Didn't want to spend my attention to see who is a spy for the other elders."

"I'm impressed." Lin Fan nodded at Guo He Ru's improvement.

He took out the gland from his storage artifact and handed it over to Guo He Ru.

Next, he made another batch of pills again but without the thousand-year ice venom.

Just as he was done, and he had put the pills into a separate pill bottle, Fan Tian, Elder Hu and Elder Chi came into the alchemy lab.

"Is that the pills?" Fan Tian asked.
