Galaxy Domination Guide

Chapter 279: 272 times the speed of light by 3300 times

When the Sacred Falcon led the fleet back to the Sirius Galaxy, Bai Zhongqi already had a rough plan on how to handle the uncooperative Lvzhao Civilization.

Clearly, deploying troops to annihilate the Lvzhao Civilization was feasible yet strenuous and thankless. The Star Alliance now possessed several hundred warships, each of which was technologically superior to anything the Lvzhao could muster. Even if Bai Zhongqi dispatched a small squadron comprising a few vessels, it would suffice to deliver a devastating blow to the Lvzhao. Finally, dropping a bunch of super fusion fusion bombs to nibble away at the Lvzhao star, by the time the Teizene fleet arrived, they would find no productive supply base or food here.

However, Bai Zhongqi didn't favor such a plan, not because he harbored any pity for the Lvzhao people, but because he had a more sinister strategy up his sleeve.

"I will organize a small fleet to operate in the Frost River Galaxy, while engineering forces will also enter the Frost River Galaxy for relevant construction layouts. If this plan finally comes to fruition, then the first batch of invading fleets from Teizene will be severely crippled," he said.

Zero looked at the temporary plan Bai Zhongqi had written, then grinned and said, "Your Majesty, usually you seem so kind and benevolent, but who knew that when it comes to scheming, you are second to none."

Bai Zhongqi naturally responded, "War, after all, is about using every extreme measure to weaken and ultimately defeat the enemy."

Zero was thoroughly convinced and exclaimed, "Truly, you are the Chancellor who has led Iridium Star for five thousand years; your strategies and talents are unparalleled in the world."

Hearing such flattery, Bai Zhongqi blushed and coughed awkwardly a few times.

Fortunately, right then Linyin's communication came through, and Bai Zhongqi immediately opened the channel.

Dressed in a form-fitting test suit that outlined her figure perfectly, Linyin was visibly excited as she shouted at a high decibel level, "Your Majesty, Your Majesty, we've succeeded! Following your ideas, we have developed our own star energy engine and achieved a stable operation speed of 3300 times the speed of light, which is slightly less powerful than our original two-stage warp engine, but only slightly."

Upon hearing this, Bai Zhongqi leapt up from his chair excitedly. He was very clear on what this meant for Iridium Star and the Star Alliance; with the dual-stage warp engine, the Star Alliance would achieve more strategically significant cosmic space strikes and development capabilities. The Star Alliance's influence could expand not just within the Danlu Interstellar Cloud but also into broader star sectors and even vast star regions.

Just from the perspective of operational scopes, different levels of universe civilizations have completely different ranges of activities. The Galactic High Governance Council has divided the Galaxy into the following distinct levels of areas—the smallest being the planetary systems with an average diameter of 0.001 light years, with the Solar System being a larger system; above that are star sectors, usually composed of dozens or hundreds of planetary systems with a diameter generally in scores of light years; above star sectors are star zones, comprising several to dozens of star sectors, with the largest star zones housing over a hundred star sectors, albeit rarely, with an average diameter of 500 light years; the great star zones contain hundreds to thousands of star zones, with even the smallest diameter exceeding 3000 light years.

All of these Galactic area divisions are basically based on astronomical features, for example, the Danlu Interstellar Cloud is clearly segmented from the surrounding cosmic space, while the Romian Interstellar Bubble is distinguished in space due to diaphanous material that is obviously different from other star zones. As for the Solar System, located on the spiraling arm of Orion, the High Council has officially named it the Maelstrom Spiral Arm Star Zone, which is merely 3500 light years wide and reaches up to 10000 light years long, containing hundreds to thousands of star sectors.

Orion's spiraling arm is also a secondary arm, and from Earth, three giant arms are visible, but the actual Galaxy contains far more than these three giant arms. However, due to actual usage and proximity conditions, giant arms are not considered separate regions, and the Galactic High Governance Council has sliced the Galaxy into four pieces like cutting a pie, known as the first to fourth quadrants.

It is also because of the increase in travel speed that interstellar civilizations can control more distant areas. Although now, let alone the great star region, even within this star sector, or even within the Solar System, the Star Alliance has not fully developed, but at least Bai Zhongqi can now execute his plans and fantasies on a larger scale.

After listening, Zero also looked forward with anticipation and said, "If each of our main battle ships can travel at 3300 times the speed of light, then we can launch a counterattack plan against Teizene."

Bai Zhongqi was confident and declared, "Exactly, let's bring the battle to their doorstep."

He was increasingly feeling that the Teizene Civilization, not a thousand light-years away, had come to seize the Danlu Interstellar Cloud but ultimately delivered the gift of a star energy engine to him. Not going over to greet them and wipe out these Lizard People in one fell swoop seemed almost ungrateful for their enthusiasm.

"Harass created the brain worms on Earth, tormenting Earth for nearly a hundred years, and this is also an account we need to settle with the Teizene people," said Bai Zhongqi, his demeanor akin to someone jotting down grievances in an invisible notebook, sinisterly.

He again scrutinized the improved version of the star energy engine's parameters and performance. Linyin had successfully applied star energy extraction and convergence technologies to the star energy engine. Essentially, each star energy engine now required one intermediate samurai to operate. If replacing with junior samurais, then four would be necessary. Samurais didn't need to stay near the engines all the time; they just needed to contribute their star energy, then could go off to recuperate, causing no harm to themselves.

The star energy engine wasn't truly fueled by star energy; in this context, star energy could be likened more to a catalyst. The star energy engine still needed a substantial amount of energy; the main battle ships of Iridium Star all were equipped with antimatter reactors, which provided ample power without any issue. The star energy engine also incorporated high-speed photon sail technology, making Bai Zhongqi believe that perhaps in the future, the Star Alliance might see a fleet of main battle ships sprouting wings.

"Now is the time to rapidly bolster our armed forces and amass our reserves, but the captains and crew members in the Universe Army are all not exactly easy to handle," lamented Bai Zhongqi.

Zero, however, expressed optimism, "Maybe these guys are quite a bit more reliable than they appear."

Just then, onboard the Jilin, Wang Dubang, sweating profusely and furiously yelling at thin air, shouted, "Jilin, you devil, I've told you a million times! Don't scare me when I'm jerking off! What if you scare me into impotence?"
