The Sixteenth Prince looked at the slightly whitening Lvzhao star, his pride and satisfaction unmistakable.

"Haha, taking down this planet makes it the eleventh we've conquered during this campaign," he said.

The Guard Officer spared no praise, saying, "Through ancient and modern times, it's not rare for royal family members to personally destroy over a dozen planets. However, there has never been a royal member like you, Sixteenth Prince, who traversed a thousand light-years and stepped over eleven planets in such a short time—without the slightest delay in attacking our primary target, the Danlu Interstellar Cloud. Your military talent is truly unmatched amongst all the Great Emperor's offspring."

The Sixteenth Prince stretched his lizard-like mouth, revealing a row of glistening white teeth, seeming to laugh with great delight. He slapped the Guard Officer, whom he normally didn't care for, in a leadership-like manner, "I clearly remember every one of you who has assisted me. When we return to the homeworld, I will speak to my father on your behalf to commend your deeds."

The Guard Officer immediately acted as if overwhelmed with gratitude, "Your grace, we will never forget the Sixteenth Prince's favor."

Suddenly, the Sixteenth Prince was startled to notice something, "These Lvzhao civilization's warships, they don't plan to engage us? We're nearly inside their mother star's Gravity Well."

The Guard Officer said, "They keep sending us some sort of electromagnetic signals, but we can't quickly decipher them. It's probably something about surrendering."

The Sixteenth Prince lost interest and remarked, "Another bunch of cowards. If they were a civilization of warriors and the mighty, their flesh would be quite delicious. But cowards always leave a bad taste."

The Guard Officer added, "This saves us the trouble at least. If these Lvzhao people are willing to cooperate, organizing production will be considerably easier."

The Sixteenth Prince nodded in agreement and commanded, "With that in mind, send the Army to Lvzhao star. Ensure the production deployment is completed swiftly. Our prey might have caught wind of our arrival by now, and I don't want them to grow impatient."

"Your Majesty, the Lvzhao people haven't put up any resistance, they seem to have completely surrendered," Zero told Bai Zhongqi.

Bai Zhongqi, arms crossed, stood before the Star Map, as if he was observing something, merely nodded without saying a word.

After a while, Zero spoke again, "Your Majesty, Teizene has already sent landing ships to the Lvzhao star. Shouldn't we take action now?"

Bai Zhongqi neither nodded nor spoke, still staring at the holographic Star Map, lost in thought.

Zero was becoming anxious. She could tell whether Bai Zhongqi was daydreaming or not. The Chancellor hadn't moved yet, but it wasn't because he was really lost in thought—he seemed to be waiting for something.

Soon after, Xu Lanzhou's communication came through. The Universe Army Commander, beautiful as a fairy, displayed clear urgency on her lovely face as she asked Zero directly, "Has His Majesty decided not to strike at Teizene?"

Zero could only spread her hands helplessly, "No, His Majesty seems to be still waiting."

Xu Lanzhou's brow was furrowed in worry, "If Teizene makes contact with the Lvzhao people, they may learn about our installations in the Frost River Galaxy. Although the Lvzhao may lack the capability to clear them, and perhaps Teizene can't either, if they are on guard, we lose the element of surprise."

All Zero could do was shrug, "His Majesty must be aware of this, but he must have his reasons."

Xu Lanzhou could not question Bai Zhongqi, he could only choose to trust him.

Bai Zhongqi walked a circle around the star map, with his arms crossed and a hand propping up his chin, his expression remained as calm as ever.

Ling couldn't help but ask, "Your Majesty, what exactly are you waiting for?"

Bai Zhongqi lifted his head and pointed at the star map, "Waiting for them."

Ling looked at the star map and suddenly realized something.

A large number of landing craft were released from Teizene's fleet, it was unquestionable that these were the ground forces of Teizene. Any interstellar fleet, when occupying a planet, would inevitably deploy a massive force on the ground. Although with advancements in technology, the scale of these ground forces might not be larger than those of the old Earth armies, it was still the necessary power for occupying and managing a planet.

Bai Zhongqi clenched his fists, his eyes which were previously calm and lifeless, had now become filled with a sharp light. Through the Supreme Command, Bai Zhongqi sent an order to detonate to the Frost River Galaxy, dozens of light-years away.

At that moment, alarms blared across all of Teizene's warships.

The guard officer was also somewhat panicked and puzzled, he looked at various pieces of information on the screen beside him, shouting, "Your Highness, it seems our warships are interfered by some powerful force field, we are unable to move now."

"Unable to move? Are you joking?" The Sixteenth Prince was completely shocked, in his many years of military service, he had never heard of such a thing as his warships being unable to move.

The warship's technical officer nearby shouted out the reason, "It's traction beams, the enemy has gotten hold of our operating frequency. Across the entire galaxy, on multiple planets, they have deployed over thousands of main battle ship level traction beams, forming a complex traction force field. We are being pulled by multiple beams within the force field, resulting in the neutralization of the thrust from our pulse engines."

The Sixteenth Prince took a few seconds to react, his face filled with darkness, "The Iridium Star people!"

Using traction beams to set up a force field, such an inconceivable act wasn't something that any mid or lower civilizations could manage. It definitely had to be the work of the Iridium Star Civilization, which might have access to some high level civilization technology.

The reason Teizene was so determined to deal with Earth wasn't just because of Danlu Interstellar Cloud's geographical position, Earth's large population and resources, but also the technologies possessed by the mysteriously emerged Iridium Star Civilization were exactly what they were eager to acquire.

Without much thought, the Sixteenth Prince shouted orders, "Raise the shields, the enemy is using such complex methods to obstruct our mobility, they must be planning to attack us!"

Within the Wuyagong, Bai Zhongqi spread his arms, his face filled with determination, "Come on, Teizene people, 200,000 super fusion fusion bombs, let's give you a taste of freshness!"

On Teizene's flagship Holy Sovereign King Number battleship, the Sixteenth Prince saw almost screen-blurring dense clusters of light points on the radar, and his lizard-like eyeballs practically bulged out. All the missiles were launched from nearby planets, had the Sixteenth Prince not been certain that the Lvzhao people were cowards, he wouldn't have thought it possible for them to have such audacity. He truly believed it was a trap set by the Lvzhao people.

"What the hell is this?" The Sixteenth Prince's mindset was completely 'day of the dog,' no one could have expected that the other side had dug a hole, and then directly tossed a Himalayan mountain on your head.
