Bai Zhongqi's meeting with Emerald Sea took place on the Iridium Star Ship.

This mothership of the Elder Race now drifted as a large orbital structure in the orbit of the Iridium Star. In appearance, the mothership didn't resemble a ship but more a cluster of palaces. It did not seem out of place in the orbit of the Iridium Star.

Although the Iridium Star Ship was not as massive and formidable as the Golden Great Sail Ship, under Bai Zhongqi's long-term modifications, the Iridium Star Ship had been turned into a fortress-like palace, a huge military facility. In terms of output, even though the Iridium Star Ship was smaller than the Golden Great Sail Ship, it was not inferior in terms of firepower density and potency.

The reason for this was obvious. Previously tricked by the Pilgrims, he managed to turn the tide with just a Homeland Stone. If he had a mothership in his possession, it wouldn't be so easy for those Pilgrims to cause trouble again.

Upon boarding the palace-like Iridium Star Ship, the girl with green hair showed some curious interest and looked around.

In a side hall, or perhaps a cabin of the Iridium Star Ship, Bai Zhongqi waited for Emerald Sea's arrival.

After Emerald Sea entered the side hall, Bai Zhongqi's gaze fell on her. There was no particular beauty to speak of, just a familiar feeling. Being far from an ordinary person, Bai Zhongqi searched his mind and then realized something, his expression shocked.

The green-haired girl nonchalantly sat in front of Bai Zhongqi, reached out, took a large apple from the table, and began crunching on it, saying, "Not bad, you realized it so quickly."

Bai Zhongqi was silent for a moment, then said, "So you call yourself Emerald Sea?"

"Doesn't matter, it's just a name, a code name. Since it's been given, might as well use it."

Bai Zhongqi stared intently at her and said, "I am very curious about what kind of being you are."

"And what kind of being are you? Do your Elder Race define yourselves as any particular animal? I am merely a creature born with this universe. You haven't seen a planetary life, which doesn't mean I'm an exception," she countered haughtily, hands on her hips.

Bai Zhongqi shrugged his shoulders and asked, "Then, in this universe, are there others like you?"

"Eh, how should I know? Bai Zhongqi, you really do talk too much. I didn't come here to chat about my origins, but to discuss the crisis this world faces."

Bai Zhongqi grew more serious and asked, "I am all ears."

"This galaxy merging business, it was cooked up by your Elder Race and the Pilgrims."

Bai Zhongqi was somewhat surprised, "You know about this too?"

Bai Zhongqi became slightly cautious.

The green-haired girl said indifferently, "I have my ways of finding out, but that's not important. What's important is the Pilgrims, in their bid to eliminate your Elder Race, have invested too much. They aren't fools; if you were allowed to grow, all their investments would be wiped out by you. So, this choice they've made, I think it's reasonable. However, it's not in the Pilgrims' nature to mobilize their whole army to confront you, nor do they have the ships, so fundamentally, it's still about leveraging their position."

Bai Zhongqi paid close attention, listening to the words of the green-haired girl. To deal with Pilgrims, he had to plan by himself, as ordinary people simply couldn't comprehend matters of this level. Yet, beings of the Emerald Sea's level could indeed access these issues.

"How can I take advantage of the situation?"

The green-haired girl continued, "I'm not sure who is orchestrating on the Pilgrims' side, but clearly, their plan was successful. They risked everything to merge three galaxies, causing severe cosmic instability, which in turn triggered the awakening of the Fallen Empire."

Bai Zhongqi's expression hardened, "The Fallen Empire?"

"Before Morin and I brought our fleets to the Great Star Zone of the Orion Arm, Morin received communications from the Lien Xi Empire. The Lien Xi Empire had been conquered not long ago."

"What?! The Lien Xi Empire, one of the ten giants, had been conquered?" This news was quite horrifying.

"Not just the Lien Xi Empire, out of the Ten Giants, seven civilizations had been conquered by the Fallen Empire. The methods were not brutal, and the losses were not significant, as the disparity between them was too great."

Bai Zhongqi grew serious, "All of the Ten Giants are Level 30 or above high-level civilizations, with very strong capabilities. The Fallen Empire has long existed in the Galaxy, largely overlooked. What kind of existence are they, to be able to conquer seven out of the ten giants?"

"It will probably soon be all ten. The problem is, the Fallen Empire wants to conquer the Ten Giants and make every civilization in the Galaxy submit. But that's not the ultimate goal of the Fallen Empire."

"So what is their ultimate goal?"

"To suppress celestial catastrophes and ensure Galactic balance," the green-haired girl said one word at a time.

Bai Zhongqi appeared somewhat puzzled, "Suppressing celestial catastrophes seems to have little to do with me."

The green-haired girl shook her finger, saying, "You're thinking too simply. You yourself are a star-devourer, a celestial catastrophe listed by the Galactic High Governance Council. Moreover, whether it is the Swarm in your hands or the characteristics of the Supreme Command, both are quintessential celestial catastrophes. Do you think the Fallen Empire would ignore this signal? The green-haired girl shook her head, "Don't expect to get much information from me. Although I was born with the universe, there are many things in the universe I don't understand, like why there's such a thing as the Fallen Empire, why it fell into slumber as soon as it appeared, and why it refuses anyone approaching. However, I know that the Fallen Empire might be the strongest civilization in the Galaxy since the rule of the Elder Race from the Remote Ancient Universe. I know the Fallen Empire only awakens when there might be a threat to the existence of the Galaxy, and celestial catastrophes are precisely what they must eliminate."

Bai Zhongqi took a deep breath, then asked her, "Then why are you helping me?"

The green-haired girl snorted, "Perhaps because I find you somewhat likable. There aren't many in this Galaxy who can interact with higher existences. If you were also gone, it would really be too boring."

Bai Zhongqi nodded and said, "Thank you, Emerald Sea. But trying to kill me, even for the Fallen Empire, won't be an easy task."
