Chapter 42: Mikaelson Family Reunion

[Points: 165,119,742]

Moments passed slowly as several figures emerged from the light. Their forms were diluted at first becoming tangible soon after as the process of summoning was completed.

Knowing that they would be surprised and prone to lash out possibly, I created a wall of psychic energy in front of me, halting all of the air molecules with my telekinesis to create a wall of force, so to speak...

My worries were unfounded however as I watched a woman with beautiful blonde hair and regal Nordic features step out. She was dressed in comfortable classy clothing and looked at me with interest and a touch of curiosity. Her name was Rebekah and she was just as beautiful as the show depicted her, if not more so due to her Vampiric Charms.

Next to step out and meet me was a very well suited Gentleman with impeccable taste in clothing. His perfectly ironed suit lacking any creases on it as he moved with the grace of a noble in an ancient court. Brownish-blue eyes regarded me neutrally and evenly, his expression tensing as his examined me from top to bottom. Elijah was his name, and he wasn't exactly as stable emotionally as was suggested by the cut of his garb.

From behind Elijah a woman with wonderful flowing brown hair stepped out, her expression defensive and motherly as her hand was held behind her. Eyes glowing canine in Hybrid power met mine as she looked to the people behind me also; Itachi flaring his Sharingan at her in defiance of her use of powers in this moment. This was Hayley, the mother of Hope Mikaelson, Former one night stand of Klaus Mikaelson and current partner of Elijah Mikaelson.

The next in line was of course... Freya Mikaelson... Her name was a touch, confusing as my own was almost exactly the same, but that was inconsequential. She was blonde, like Rebekah, but had dashes of brown here and there. Her eyes were the brightest blue that a human could have and her physique was even slimmer than my own. Unlike me however, she did not have many muscles, she instead preferred to toy with magic.

Kol Mikaelson was next and he was dubious, holding his wife Davina's hand. Vampiric veins flushed under his eyes for a second as he tried to speak up, finding himself stopped short however, by Elijah, who placed a single arm on his shoulder and shook his head.

Finn was next, but he seemed sour. As far as I could tell he thought his life as torture and wanted to become mortal again or simply to die. So I ignored him.

Then, finally, came Niklaus and his daughter, Hope. Both sported vibrant orange-red hair. Klaus himself looked haggard and weary, his expression dreadful as the building began to quake. Ignoring the earthquake I noticed that Klaus was bloody and seemed to have been drenched in the coagulated mess. Hope was also, but she was much fairer in face than he. Softer in jawline, softer his skin tone, as if a princess carefully shielded from all danger by her family.

That wasn't to say that she was defenceless though, no, she was far from that. Although her current sobbing posture wasn't conducive to understanding that. Klaus was comforting her with hugs as he wearily stared at me... Kindness, appreciation, caring... Those were the emotions I felt despite the 'weary' look he gave me. The earthquake stopped as Klaus, Elijah and the others who were dead, resurrected fully into this world.

I lowered the psychic force wall and met the gaze of Elijah and Klaus.

"Are you the one who has rescued us?" Klaus spoke in a husky timbre reminiscent of past aristocratic temperament. I knew, that he knew, that I knew, I had saved him. His attempt to maintain control over the tone of conversation was, funny, really.

"Yes. I brought you all here." I was confident that they would be okay. All of them had their family here and realistically I had saved Klaus and Elijah from permanent death. Hope was definitely glad to have her dad back, as she was hugging into him quite desperately. She must have missed him quite a lot.

"Why did you bring us here? What are your motives?" Kol was rather fiery, his rough looking face and thick bushy brown eyebrows casting his attitude into a rather negative light, his wife Davina clutching his hand and urging him not to get too angry.

"I must admit, I find myself questioning that very thing myself. Tell us, why have you brought us here?"

Elijah was refined in speech, eloquent, precise with his words and seemed to brook no lies. His tone had essences of aristocracy in them, but this was much different to Klaus's callas verbiage. It was as if you were speaking to a disappointed scholar.

"I needed allies and knew of your story. I wanted to give you another chance at life and to also aid me in my mission to forge a power that is separate to the Elite's." I paused for a moment, noticing the question evident in all of their eyes.

"And before you ask... You shouldn't join them because I have more power than them and can bring people like you to help me. Plus they have exploited little girls and boys for sexual pleasure."

At the end of my words a black man with shaved head and powerful eyes dashed up towards me and narrowed his eyes. Marcel, the protégé and adopted son of Klaus, he hated people who touched kids... His only rule as a vampire being that kids shall not be targeted or harmed in any way.

"I am in. I have no clue what this world is all about, or why you wanted this dysfunctional family, but if it helps kids, I'm all for it." He turned to look at Klaus, who was looking down at Hope.

"I don't want to join some random bint's quest for a better world. I just want to be with my wife and live happily." Kol's perspective was understandable here, I would probably do something similar.

"Before we continue, can we know your name? Jeeze boys and their lack of manners..." Rebekah shook her head and folded her arms in front of her as if in disappointment, Marcel rolling his eyes before moving off to the side.

"My name is, Freya."

Their Freya immediately opened her eyes widely, everyone glancing at her and then back at me. We looked nothing alike in reality, but similarities made them all concerned, especially considering the magical nonsense they have had to deal with in the past.

"Okay... Freya... Do you mind if we spend some time discussing this issue as a family?"

"Sure. That is fine. I am not expecting you to come to heel or anything. It would be a cooperation between equals and allies. You are free to go about your own ideals, I just need some help here and there... Plus the wanting to get to know you all."

Hope finally stopped sobbing and looked at me. She was beautiful, for sure, but she was currently staring at me and directing some sort of force in my direction. It tried to pierce through my mental shields, causing her aunt; Freya, to try and intervene.

Narrowing my eyes I concaved my defences and let her only see the most apt memories for their scenario and my intent. I waved my hand in Freya Mikaelson's direction and made eye contact with her.

"Let her do it, if it makes you all much more comfortable and trusting..."

Hope's mental power entered in to the section of my memories that I allowed her to. She saw me finding all of the dirt of politicians and super powered peoples. Going to the senate, coming out peacefully, driving here and summoning them.

She gasped as she 'awoke' from my memories and looked directly to her father.

"She's not lying. She really did find some true scum in the world. Her intent is truly only to make her games and stop them."

"Games?" Klaus sounded confused but willingly accepted his own daughter's words, not that he wasn't cautious as I only revealed what I wished to be revealed.

"Let us speak, and then we will make our decision..." This was the extent that Klaus could go currently without revealing his worries, concerns and plots. I understood this so I indicated to Itachi, who walked up beside me and inclined his head to look at me.

"Itachi, please take them to the clan mansions. Their stay in those specific buildings will be short but please make them your guests for the evening."

"Sure boss."

He escorted them all out, the Mikaelsons all watching me as they were guided outside. Hope, staring at me more than anyone. Picard stepped up now, his face rather conflicted.

"Freya, are you certain that summoning people like this is the best option? You could band together with the common people, or the Super Heroes."

"What, and watch the common people be controlled by the media and super powered villains? Work with the Super Heroes and have them turn on me due to their moral weaknesses and codes. I understand that morals aren't necessarily a weakness, but they have weakness... There is a difference."

He closed his mouth and pondered the situation for a time, sighing loudly as he turned.

"Understood. I wished you could get an inkling of the morals of Starfleet through me... But it seems that the times are shaping the actions more than that... I will be in my room, contemplating, if you need me."

Exiting the same way the Mikaelson's had just left, Picard sagged slightly, sorrow seeping into his heart. He was lonely, with no friends or similarly minded people around. To him, he was hanging onto the Star Fleet doctrines as a way to cope with his situation...

'Perhaps I can summon his crew or something?'

Shaking my head I opened a door and appeared inside of my apartment. It was time to check in on SWTOR!
