Genshin Impact: I Opened Blind Boxes in Liyue

The hot springs street trembled violently in the dead of night, the ground cracking like a spider's web. Ling Feng jolted awake, only to see Lumine crashing through the window with her Dull Blade in hand—a crimson beam of light shot up from the direction of the mountain, and countless mechanical tentacles burst from the ground, each embedded with a Fatui Delusion, staining the night sky an ominous purple-red. 

"That bastard Scaramouche activated the **'Defiled Inverted Statue'**!" Lumine grabbed Ling Feng and leaped onto the roof. In the distance, the mountain was being torn apart and reshaped by the mechanical tentacles, gradually forming the silhouette of a *Pacific Rim*-style kaiju mech. Embedded in the mech's chest was a fragment of Khaenri'ah technology from the hot spring blind box, now devouring the leyline's energy. 

Sayu crawled out of the hot spring, dripping wet, as the mechanical jellyfish on her head suddenly blared an alarm: **"Detecting Abyssal corruption. Initiating ultimate purification mode—"** The jellyfish's tentacles wrapped around her limbs, dragging her toward the mech's core. 

"Sayu!!!" Lumine hurled an Anemo chain, only to be blasted back by the mech's shockwave. Ling Feng shielded her with a Geo barrier, but the force sent them tumbling into the hot spring. The blind boxes at the bottom of the pool went haywire— 

The hot spring instantly turned into an elemental hell. Pyro Slime blind boxes collided with Electro mechanisms, triggering *Genshin Impact*-style Overload explosions; Hydro-formed Yae Miko illusions wielded fried tofu skewers as staffs, summoning *Onmyoji*-style water tornadoes; and worst of all, the **"Leyline Memory"** blind boxes shattered, unleashing a flood of Khaenri'ah's mechanical army from 500 years ago. 

"Hold on to me!" Ling Feng shielded Lumine, his Geo energy forming a massive blade resembling *Demon Slayer*'s Nichirin Sword. Lumine's Electro energy coiled around the blade, and as they slashed through the mechanical tide, their elemental resonance created a dazzling aurora. 

Scaramouche's maniacal laughter echoed from the mech's core. **"Using your leyline memories as fuel for a god—what a brilliant idea!"** The mech's massive hand slammed down, its Delusion array firing crimson beams. Lumine yanked Ling Feng into a roll, the spot where they had stood melting into a crater. In the steam, memories of Saiguu and Makoto fighting side by side flickered. 

"Three o'clock direction!" the memory suddenly spoke, Saiguu's illusion pointing her fan at the mech's ribs. Lumine understood instantly, wrapping an Anemo chain around Ling Feng's waist. "Launch me up!" 

Ling Feng roared, and a Geo pillar erupted, catapulting Lumine into the air. She transformed into a bolt of lightning, piercing through the rainstorm as her Dull Blade struck the mech's core. Scaramouche sneered, activating the defense program—mechanical tentacles coiled like venomous snakes— 

"Ninja Art: No Sleeping Allowed!" Sayu's scream came from within the mech's chest. The little ninja had hijacked the mechanical jellyfish to infiltrate the system, turning the defense program into a *Tom and Jerry*-style chaos. Lumine seized the chance, her blade surging with Electro energy like *Honkai Impact 3rd*'s Herrscher of Thunder, shattering the Khaenri'ah fragment. 

Scaramouche appeared in a rage, his Delusion's energy blasting Lumine away. Ling Feng leaped to catch her, the two plummeting like meteors toward the cliff. At the critical moment, the leyline memories materialized—Makoto and Ei's illusions caught them, Saiguu's laughter echoing through time. **"Kids, catch this!"** 

Lumine's hand now held a spirit blade entwined with Sacred Sakura petals, while Ling Feng's Geo blade gleamed with Ei's Musou no Hitotachi. As their blades clashed, the **"Musou no Hitotachi"** that had slain Orobashi 500 years ago reappeared, the mech disintegrating in a pillar of light that pierced heaven and earth. 

When the smoke cleared, the hot springs street lay in ruins. Lumine collapsed in Ling Feng's arms, her fingertips still crackling with Electro energy. "Next time... I'm definitely dismantling Miko's blind box supply chain..." 

Yae Miko emerged gracefully from the wreckage, her tail coiling around a barely conscious Scaramouche. **"My, my, a Fatui Harbinger who can't even handle leyline memories~"** She flicked out an astronomical repair bill. "But as for the reconstruction costs..." 

"Deduct it from your skimmed profits!" Ling Feng growled. Miko smiled, tossing out a blind box containing the mech's data. **"How about a new project—'Mech Edition'?"** 

Late that night, Ling Feng bandaged Lumine's wounds in a makeshift tent. She suddenly leaned in, poking his chest. "Why did you jump in front of me back there?" 

"Because..." He pressed her hand to his still-pounding heart. "The elemental resonance here told me I couldn't lose you." 

Sayu's snores came from the corner, the little ninja clutching the remains of the mechanical jellyfish. No one noticed a wisp of Abyssal energy seeping into her dreams—Saiguu's memory fragment sighed in the depths of her consciousness. **"The real crisis is just beginning..."** 

Three days later, Sangonomiya Kokomi arrived at the ruins. Her fingertips touched the scorched earth, Hydro energy rippling outward. **"The leyline corruption runs deeper than expected. The Fatui are extracting Abyssal energy."** 

Lumine crouched by the wreckage, picking up a gear engraved with Snezhnaya's emblem. **"Scaramouche was just a pawn. There's someone else behind this."** 

Ling Feng adjusted a blind box salvaged from the mech's remains, Geo energy seeping into its core. **"Khaenri'ah's technology... combined with the Abyss Order's runes."** 

Lumine suddenly grabbed his wrist, holding the blind box up to the moonlight—a faint silhouette of **"The Doctor"** appeared in the core, smirking into the void. 

"It's time to go to Liyue." Lumine sheathed her Dull Blade. **"Zhongli might know more."** 

Ling Feng nodded, catching a glimpse of Sayu mumbling in her sleep. **"Lady Sayu... doesn't want to be any god..."** 

Beneath the surface of the rebuilding hot springs street, dark currents stirred. Yae Miko stood atop the shrine, watching the emerging mech blind box factory. **"Kids, the real fun is about to begin."** 

Deep within the leylines, the shattered remains of the mechanical god quietly reassembled. Scaramouche's Delusion flickered in the ruins as a shadow emerged from the cracks—**"The Doctor's"** hoarse voice echoed in the void. **"Data collection complete. Phase two of the 'God-Making Project' can now commence."**
