Genshin Impact: Selling Pokemons in Teyvat

Ten minutes earlier. 

The door to Pokémon Home was pushed open. 

"Welcome… in?" 

Li Pan instinctively looked up, but before he could finish his greeting, the words got stuck in his throat. 

The ones who had entered were two individuals, both of them heavyweights. 

One of them was Keqing, now dressed in her formal attire. This time, she wore a belt with a miniature Poké Ball attached to it. Shinx was nowhere to be seen, likely having been returned to its Poké Ball. 

The other was a woman with long, platinum-blonde hair, tied up with a black-and-gold hairpin. 

Her hair cascaded down her back, splitting into two strands that reached her calves.

A crimson tassel hung from her forehead, matching the color of her eyes. 

Her arms were covered in black sleeves with golden finger guards, and her wide, flowing sleeves draped naturally. 

She wore a qipao in gold, white, and black, with a hem resembling a bird's tail and a golden phoenix pattern at the collar. 

A deep golden fan-shaped ornament hung at her waist, with a Geo Vision attached as a pendant. 

Her legs were bare, with a red tattoo on her left leg. 

With just one glance, Li Pan recognized who she was. 

Ningguang, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing! 

One of the Liyue Qixing, the embodiment of law and power, and the owner of the floating palace in the sky. In the game, she was a four-star main DPS powerhouse. 

Ningguang immediately noticed Li Pan's subtle expression. 

"Hehe, it seems that Boss Li recognizes this humble woman," Ningguang said with a light chuckle, covering her lips with her hand. Every movement she made exuded the unique charm of a mature woman, like a perfectly ripe peach. 

In contrast, Keqing, standing beside her with a serious expression, looked like an unripe girl. 

"Tianquan Ningguang, you jest. You are wealthy beyond measure, with eyes that shine brighter than peaches and apricots, and a mind that comprehends everything. In all of Liyue, there are few who wouldn't recognize you," Li Pan replied with a light smile, though his eyes remained calm. 

Joking aside, calling someone "waifu" in a game was one thing, but in real life, calling a woman you've only met once "waifu" when she was a high-ranking official of Liyue? That was practically asking for trouble. 

One had to distinguish between games and reality. 

"Pfft, then please, Boss Li, introduce me to Pokémon," Ningguang laughed softly, embodying the very essence of grace and elegance. 

"Of course. Pokémon are divided into eighteen types: Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Ice, Bug, Flying, Ground, Rock, Fighting, Psychic, Ghost, Poison, Dark, Steel, Dragon, and Fairy. Each type has strengths and weaknesses against others. The detailed matchups are in the Pokédex. Currently, there are 905 known species of Pokémon." 

As Li Pan spoke confidently, Ningguang and Keqing exchanged a subtle glance, further confirming their suspicions. 

To have cataloged 905 species of Pokémon and summarized them into eighteen types—this wasn't something one person could have discovered by chance. It had to be the work of an organization, a nation, or even… an entire world. 

"So, Boss Li, how do I purchase a Pokémon?" 

"Simply press the draw button on the Pokédex, and you can start drawing a Pokémon." 

Ningguang took the Pokédex and was about to press the draw button when the door opened, and Landorus walked in, followed by a dazed Xiangling. 

At first, Ningguang didn't pay much attention. 

After all, as the owner of Pokémon Home, it wasn't surprising that Li Pan had his own Pokémon.

She recognized Xiangling, the renowned chef of Wanmin Restaurant, whose fame even reached Mondstadt. 

"Yes, this is Landorus. Don't mind it. Would you like to draw a Pokémon, Lady Ningguang?" 

"No rush. Let's see what Landorus is up to first." 

Li Pan naturally agreed. 

The four of them followed Landorus to the backyard. 

Under the curious gazes of Ningguang, Keqing, and Xiangling, Landorus chuckled and took out a Jueyun Chili, crushing it and scattering the seeds into the soil. 

Then, it gently touched the ground with its hand. 

In the next moment, to the horror of the three onlookers, the seeds began to sprout and grow at a visible rate. Soon, the vines were laden with bright red Jueyun Chilis. 

"B-Boss Li, is this also a Pokémon's ability?" Ningguang could hardly believe her eyes. The ability to rapidly grow crops was simply overpowered. 

After all, while Liyue was the economic hub of the seven nations, not all of its citizens had enough to eat.

Keqing immediately pointed her Pokédex at Landorus.

Ability: Sand Force (Increases the power of Ground, Rock, and Steel-type moves during a sandstorm.) 

The Abundance Pokémon. A Legendary Pokémon of the Ground and Flying types. It absorbs wind and thunder to convert into energy, nourishing the land and making it fertile. Thus, it is known as the God of Fields. 

Moves: Rock Throw, Sand Tomb, Leer, Block, Bulldoze, Rock Tomb, Swords Dance, Imprison, Rock Slide, Earth Power, Extrasensory, Stone Edge, Hammer Arm, Sandstorm, Earthquake, Outrage, Fissure. 

The cold, mechanical voice of the Pokédex broke the tense atmosphere. 

God of Fields… 

At this moment, those were the only words echoing in Ningguang's mind.
