Chapter 11: Chapter 11
As the Impurity was purified, Hanachirusato's form began to change dramatically.
Her clothes suddenly burst apart, leaving her exposed.
Seeing this scene, Akio, who was maintaining the Herrscher of Rebirth's authority, frowned slightly. With a wave of his hand, a golden spatial barrier enveloped the three of them, completely shielding them from the outside world.
Time passed slowly as the power of life and death continuously reshaped Kitsune Saiguu's body.
Snow-white hair and skin gradually appeared before the two, and soon, a stunningly beautiful woman stood before them.
"Phew…" Akio retracted his authority, and Kitsune Saiguu's perfect figure was fully revealed.
"Wow! As expected of a fox spirit, her body is absolutely flawless," Akio remarked, examining Kitsune Saiguu's figure. She was truly a legendary divine beast.
"Lady Saiguu!" Yae Miko, seeing the figure she had longed for over five hundred years, immediately rushed forward. She pulled out a set of shrine maiden robes from her Vision and quickly dressed her.
"Hmm~" Kitsune Saiguu's fox ears twitched slightly as she slowly opened her golden eyes.
"Miko?" Kitsune Saiguu looked at Yae Miko, who had thrown herself into her arms, a hint of complexity flashing in her eyes.
"You troublesome woman! Why did you lie to me and say you were going on a long journey?" Yae Miko choked back tears. "Do you know how long I've waited for you?"
"I'm sorry, Miko. I had no choice," Kitsune Saiguu sighed, gently patting Yae Miko's head.
"Hmph!" Yae Miko rubbed her eyes and pulled away from Kitsune Saiguu's embrace. "It's all your fault. My image is ruined now."
Kitsune Saiguu smiled and turned to Akio.
Remembering that she had been completely exposed in front of him earlier, her face flushed slightly, but she still bowed respectfully.
"Thank you, my lord, for reviving me. To see my old friend again is a great kindness I will never forget."
"What's the point of just saying thanks?" Yae Miko interjected before Akio could respond. "Such a great debt, shouldn't you repay it with your body?"
Yae Miko knew Akio's lecherous tendencies all too well—he had openly admitted his fondness for beautiful women.
"6." Akio silently gave Yae Miko a thumbs-up. Truly, his considerate fox lady.
"Don't talk nonsense, Miko!" Kitsune Saiguu glared at Yae Miko. After hundreds of years apart, her once obedient little fox had become so mischievous? Who had taught her this?
"I'm not joking. Akio is just a big pervert," Yae Miko muttered. According to their agreement, since Akio had revived Kitsune Saiguu, she would have to stay with him from now on, becoming his "obedient and well-behaved" little woman.
"…" Akio awkwardly smiled and extended his hand.
"Miko is just joking. Let me introduce myself. I am Akio, the current Great Divine Official of the Grand Narukami Shrine."
"Lord Akio." Kitsune Saiguu extended her jade-like hand to shake his, surprised that someone so powerful would hold such a position.
"This place isn't safe. Let's head back to the Grand Narukami Shrine first," Yae Miko suggested. By her calculations, the Raiden Shogun would likely arrive soon, and who knew what that rigid puppet might do.
"Alright." Akio nodded and retracted the golden barrier.
However, in the next moment, Akio's expression changed. He raised his hand to block a blade of lightning that came slashing toward him.
"Ei?" Kitsune Saiguu looked up at the figure descending from the sky.
"Not Ei, it's the Shogun!" Yae Miko said warily, keeping her eyes on the Raiden Shogun.
"You two head back to the Grand Narukami Shrine! I'll hold her off," Akio said seriously. "Kitsune Saiguu has just been revived and is still weak. Take her back."
"But you…" Yae Miko was anxious. She knew all too well how merciless the Shogun could be.
"I have a way to deal with her," Akio shook his head.
"Go! Akio, I'll be waiting for you at the Grand Narukami Shrine," Yae Miko said, no longer hesitating. She picked up Kitsune Saiguu and swiftly headed into the distance.
Though Yae Miko was worried about Akio, this level of battle was beyond her. Staying would only distract him and force him to protect her.
The Raiden Shogun paid no attention to Yae Miko's departure, her gaze fixed solely on Akio.
"A god not of this world?" The Raiden Shogun's body was surrounded by crackling lightning as she stared coldly at Akio.
"You are a variable in eternity! Eternity cannot tolerate you! Leave Inazuma, foreign god!"
"Everything I've done is for Inazuma and for what I desire. I cannot leave," Akio shook his head. He had just revived Kitsune Saiguu and was about to enjoy the company of the pink-haired fox lady. Leave now? No way.
"Then you are an enemy of eternity," the Raiden Shogun's eyes turned cold, and her Engulfing Lightning glowed with dazzling light.
"Eternity? Do you truly understand what eternity is?" Akio entered his Herrscher of the Void form, and Void Lances materialized behind him, causing the very space around them to tremble.
"Shogun, the eternity you pursue is nothing more than a distorted and corrupted mindset born from the fear of loss."
"Silence! Do you dare question eternity?" The Raiden Shogun no longer spoke. In an instant, she appeared behind Akio, her Engulfing Lightning slashing down with immense force.
"Boom…" The powerful lightning was blocked by the Void Lances, and Akio instantly teleported to another location. He looked at the enraged Raiden Shogun, the Key of the Void appearing in his hand.
In the next moment, countless Void Lances surrounded the Raiden Shogun, the immense spatial power locking her in place, rendering her immobile.
"Eye of Stormy Judgment!" The Raiden Shogun's overwhelming lightning power suddenly tore through the spatial restraints, allowing her to break free. With a single slash, all the Void Lances exploded.
"As expected of you, Raiden Shogun," Akio muttered. Truly, the Shogun, who had inherited Ei's strength, was able to forcibly break free from spatial confinement.
Akio wanted to force Ei out, but the Raiden Shogun's power was too great.
"Ha!" Akio summoned all his spatial power, and this time, the spatial chains binding the Raiden Shogun were even more solid, making it impossible for her to move.
However, judging by the force of her struggles, the restraints wouldn't hold for long.
"I'll have to go all out," Akio sighed. Grabbing the restrained Raiden Shogun, he flew toward the endless ocean. To unleash his full power, he needed to be far away from Inazuma. Destroying Inazuma would be disastrous.
After flying at top speed for several minutes, they reached a very remote area. The chains binding the Raiden Shogun were at their limit, and powerful lightning began to surge around her.
Akio's eyes glowed with golden light, and the entire space began to tremble. In the next moment, countless black holes appeared behind him, almost covering the entire sky.
The Raiden Shogun, sensing the immense threat, unleashed her strongest attack, Musou no Hitotachi, the lightning in her chest blazing as she drew her Engulfing Lightning.
