Chapter 149: The Primordials
Void tears appeared everywhere.
No pantheon was safe from the void storms emerging and everyone worked hard to contain it.
Julien was not an important person in anyone's eyes, but those who knew him were well aware that his disappearance was an ominous sign.
He would only disappear if something bad was going to happen to him.
It was as if he was cursed to endlessly undergo misfortune.
El arrived at this point and asked the ones related to Julien to quickly clear the Tower floors as fast as they could.
The Tower was a place to gain strength.
It was a monument that would stay before and after the end of time, unaffected.
Many new apocalyptic worlds had entered the Tower, and the rewards had changed too.
With El's guidance and the entry of constellations into the Tower, the floors were being quickly cleared.
A problem however arose.
The higher gods, the overseers that were powerful enough to make Arcana Cards, did not like the intervention of constellations in the Tower.
They were only just about to make changes to the Tower's administration, but right at this point, they felt a shudder down their souls.
Not just them, every being outside the Tower felt it.
Within the confines of Tower, everything was safe.
Part of the reason had to do with the existence of Emil in it.
Outside the Tower, an entity that should not have been disturbed, woke up from his slumber.
Entity who thrived on chaos.
Entity that was shackled for eons.
Primordial Seven.
The embodiment of chaos and destruction.
Primordial Seven had finally awakened.
And the vessel for this Primordial Seven was a man with black hair and blue eyes, now turned demonic—Julien Von Lichtenstein.
The Arcana Card that was only supposed to draw power from the sealed Primordial Seven acted as the medium to bring him out.
El had calculated everything.
But against Julien's misfortune, all her calculations failed.
His misfortune was far too strong.
And this time, it came crashing far too fast and abruptly.
He was truly the unluckiest out there to have become the vessel of Primordial Seven.
Even if he didn't do anything, he would be hunted by every single being in the universe.
The only saving grace was that the ladies associated with him did not turn their backs on him.
They stood with him, fighting against the world.
The awakening of Primordial Seven scared everybody.
Micheal, the King of Angels, acted as the commander to kill Julien to seal the Primordial back.
However, Uriel was against it.
She stood in between Julien and Micheal.
Julien, now housing Primordial Seven, laughed like a maniac, being happy with the development.
Micheal asked Uriel to not be an idiot. He told her to be rational and think about the lives of so many that she was endangering.
Uriel however argued back, asking Micheal whether it was fair on Julien to bear the burden of everybody.
What wrong had the poor boy done to deserve being killed?
She had seen into his karma. It was on the good side. He had never even killed anyone and only just helped everyone.
However, he always found himself in problematic situations.
Through his livestreams she had known just how unfortunate he was.
Primordial Seven was listening to this conversation with interest.
This boy whose body he had taken was an interesting specimen.
Though, he soon got bored with Uriel and Micheal's conversation. It was time to make his move.
He had only just thought of doing so when soon, space rippled and a mighty pressure descended, making everybody, including Primordial Seven tremble.
What? What the fuck was this? The Primordial thought.
From the darkness shone a silver scaly skin of a mighty creature that swam freely within.
Cogs and gears spinning endlessly into its transparently silver skin could be seen.
Riding on this creature was a lady wearing a long pointy hat with multiple arms, holding scissors, threads, and needles.
From the other side, in the void of space a mighty whale-like creature leapt, sending ripples of pressure unto all. On its back was a pretty youngster, the almighty twink, Emil, holding on for dear life.
The Primordial Seven bit his lips hard until blood oozed out. He finally understood what was going on.
As if this wasn't enough, a divine entity with a fox-like tail and ears appeared in front of Primordial Seven.
Beside him was his incarnation, who was none other than Jacqueline Lex Vicross, Julien's beloved Jackie.
Currently, Jackie's eyes weren't her usual color, but a shade of crimson and pink.
"Seven." Jackie said in an androgynous tone, making Primordial Seven's legs cave.
"Seven." The whale-like creature made a deep hum and said.
"Seven." A sweet, melodic whisper rang in everyone's ears. It came from the one lady riding on the serpent's back.
"Seven." A mechanical voice rang, belonging to the serpent itself.
"Seven." The foxy entity, who was neither a man or a woman, said out loud.
Everyone was awed by the scene.
Nobody was blind or stupid to not know who these entities were and that they were doing here.
These were the Primordials.
The lady was Primordial Six, the one overseeing Fate and Destiny.
Right beneath her was Primordial Three, the Chrono Serpent, the very embodiment of Time.
The foxy entity was the Light of Primordial One, representing Primordial One.
Beside him was Jackie, containing a will of Primordial Five and currently representing them.
Then there was Primordial Four, the Cosmos Leviathan, whom Emil had found and asked for help.
If Julien's misfortune could awaken the vilest creature in the universe, then Emil's fortune could also work to awaken the divinest.
The only problem was, when taking Julien's body, Primordial Seven made an error.
As he couldn't see what Arcana Cards one possessed, he wasn't aware of Julien having immense misfortune.
Due to making him a vessel, he now shared the misfortune and ended up awakening the other Primordials.
The Primordials would not have interfered with the worldly affairs as it mattered not to them whether one lived or died.
However, there was a subtle influence of the misfortune card, and the influence of the fortune card as well.
Emil had personally journeyed to find the Cosmic Leviathan and was successful in a short time.
El may have miscalculated initially, but everything eventually went well.
In the presence of other Primordials, a single Primordial Seven couldn't do anything.
Being cornered like this right after awakening from a long slumber certainly did not feel nice.
El knew such an event would occur and wasn't worried about Julien awakening this entity.
It may seem like the end of the world, but it really wasn't.
El's beliefs eventually began wavering as Primordial Seven, in a desperate attempt, opened a portal and went straight into the Tower.
The Primordials couldn't do as they pleased in the Tower. It had different laws and different rules.
The higher gods ruling it were more powerful than even the Primordials. Though, if they were to leave the Tower, they would be killed in an instant there.
As Primordial Seven went within the Tower, killing him was now a challenge for everyone.
The Tower wouldn't allow the influx of powerful entities like the other Primordials.
Primordial Seven could only venture due to possessing Julien's body and tricking the Tower.
El was somewhat worried because she didn't want to have the Primordial kill Julien or commit suicide, eventually killing Julien.
This was a headache now, but a manageable headache.
She took all the ones who could help clear the Tower floors faster and went into the Tower to finish off Primordial Seven once and for all.
A clearing spree occurred within the Tower.
Floors were being cleared at an astonishing rate and at the head of them all was Julien.
Primordial Seven was clearing quests quickly to power up and become the God of the Tower.
They said that conquering the Tower would make a person omniscient and omnipotent.
He wanted to be stronger than them all and show them his might.
Julien's name kept ringing as he cleared one floor after another.
The people of his world were quite shocked.
The Lichtenstein ladies were shocked too. When they were made aware of what had transpired, they worked extra hard to clear the Tower floors and catch up with Julien.
The good thing about the Tower was that not anyone could jump in and clear floors.
They had to do it in a systematic manner, and the Lichtenstein ladies were quite busy doing this.
They had an edge against everyone.
It was now a race against time to see who would conquer the Tower first.
