But nw that Jason can do can do more than fight to keep his life, instead of fighting for his freedom with his new found power, he has decided to accept the fusion with the god of power because he can finally have a say in it.

Since he has become more powerful, he will be able to preserve more of himself in the fusion, and his will won't disappear completely.

He and the god of power are almost equals now, so they will become one instead of him being subsumed.

The ones who were not so lucky were the Usurpers who had given the child of the void universe some of their power. Their power was forcefully assimilated in the fusion.

The two powerful beings fused, which caused the body of the god of power in the void universe to shrink. It became smaller but brighter. Its previously faceless face also gained two eyes.

On the right hand of the god of power was a bangle. It was formed from a worm looping itself around his arm.

This worm is the system that the god of wisdom gave his brother before he came to the void universe. The worm has become bigger after fattening itself on the knowledge in a Cosmic source.

By every count, the mission of the system has been accomplished. All that it needs is to return to the God of wisdom.

Unfortunately, they can't leave yet. Not only that, the god of power is risking his life, so the system might never be able to return to the god of wisdom. It won't be an understatement to say things aren't going well.

The god of wisdom had made a lot of plans. But the one plan it didn't make was that Jason would fuse with the god of power.

The system knew of Jason's plan with Legion and allowed it to happen. It also knew about Jason's clones trying to become the child of the void universe and allowed it to happen.

It allowed all of those to happen because it thought that when Jason became more powerful, he would resist the god of power and force his brother to leave the void universe.

The system didn't expect that Jason would give up his independence, even when he had the chance to gain freedom, and it certainly didn't expect that the god of power would let go of his pride and fuse with his mental avatar on equal terms.

The system had underestimated their dedication to acquiring the power of supreme. Apparently, the two of them were willing to do everything, including giving up their identity, for Supreme power.

This mistake meant that the system wouldn't be able to leave yet. It will have to hope that the god of power succeeds or use the power it has been hiding to save the god of power.

From the moment the god of power appeared to the fusion of Jason and his clone and then the fusion of Jason and the god of power, a second of time hadn't passed.

The god of power then shot toward the golden sphere. He looked ready to slam into it.

Legion knew that brute force wasn't going to work. But they didn't want anyone to interfere with their work. Especially when they were so close to their goal. So they acted to strike the god of power down.

They mobilized their will to strike the god of power. It was a power containing the might of a galaxy of stars exploding all at once.

Their power was the power of at least 100 billion stars exploding onto a single target. Even a black hole will be ripped apart, much less the god of power, who had the power of one million exploding stars.

It is safe to say that he would be destroyed by this power. But the god of power didn't stop when he saw them use their Will against him.

He mobilized all of his power to activate the Transcendence boat. This made a golden barrier surround his figure.

The god of souls wasn't the only one who was in possession of the Transcendence Boat. He too has one.

The golden barrier protected him and prevented Legion's attacks from impacting him. Every attack washed over him without hindering him.

All of the power he gained by entering the void universe with his body completely, fusing with Jason's clone, fusing with Jason, and forcefully assimilating the power of many Usurpers was not to fight Legion.

That wasn't his plan at all. He was always going to rely on the Transcendence Boat. He had no plans to clash with Legion at all.

All of that power was just to make him faster and shorten the amount of time he needed to use to reach his target. Faster speed also means the amount of time he will have to use the Transcendence Boat will be shorter.

The Transcendence boat is an artifact made for entering and leaving universes. It is what the god of power used to protect himself from ANNIHILATION when he wanted to enter the void universe.

So even though Legion is more powerful than many universes in the Cosmos, they could only watch as the god of power slipped through their grasp.

They growled and roared in anger and frustration, but not only that, the god of power also managed to slip through the golden sphere around the Will of the void universe too.

He breached the defense that Legion had been working on in an instant. Then he snatched the white sphere from the will of the void universe.

The god of power was far stronger than the Will of the void universe in its weakened state. So it was easy for him to wrestle the white ball from it.

It took less than one second to grab the white ball and put it into his body. Meanwhile, Legion raged and shouted impotently outside the golden sphere. They could only watch, they couldn't do anything to stop him.
