"You seem to be having a hard time," Wu Junfen carelessly remarked when she saw Yu Dong step out of her house.

Yu Dong glanced at her with a cold expression. She sighed and said, "Don't ask me anything." These past few hours have been nothing but trouble for her as Shen Li and Ye Liu refused to talk with each other.

And though they didn't say a word, they somehow managed to fight with each other quite exceptionally. Even now Yu Dong was having a hard time realising that the two of them were quarrelling even without saying anything.

"How can two mers even fight without saying a single word?" She muttered under her breath.

"Trouble in paradise?" Wu Junfen nodded. She pursed her lips and remarked casually, "That's why I told you to only have one husband. More than that is nothing but trouble."

Yu Dong glanced at Wu Junfen before sneering, "Are we here to discuss my mer problems or deal with that spirit?"

Wu Junfen shrugged and replied, "I was just saying that one shouldn't be too greedy. Look, I have one husband and I live so well" She then took out a mask and black cloak from her space ring and put it on.

Yu Dong wanted to remind Wu Junfen that the last time she was the one who was kicked out of the house by her only husband. However, all her words were squashed the second she saw the mask in Wu Junfen's hands.

The second Wu Junfen donned the mask, Yu Dong's eyes widened as she stepped away from the woman.

"What kind of mask is that?" Just one look was enough to make her feel terrified to the point that she wanted to run for the hills. She was so frightened that her heart skipped several beats.

"This?" Wu Junfen raised her head and Yu Dong felt her heart jump again. "This is a mask to hide our faces. I don't think you would want to be caught by anyone, right?"

As she spoke she threw another mask at Yu Dong who caught it gingerly as if she was holding something decaying. "Don't you have another one? Something less terrifying."

"Hmm? No. I made these masks with my own hands — I don't like it when others bother me and my work. So, I created masks that would make others faint the second they see it," Wu Junfen answered with a happy tone.

Yu Dong: "…" Are you sure about it? Why does it feel like you want to kill someone with these masks?

Yu Dong sighed as she pulled the mask on before throwing the cloak over her shoulder.

Throughout the process, she didn't even take a look at her reflection. This kind of attire could knock someone unconscious in the morning, that too in broad daylight. If someone saw them like this in the night, they would certainly have a heart attack.

The mask was completely dark with two glowing eyes and a fanged mouth, it looked hype realistic as if a monster had crawled out of hell.

And the second Yu Dong threw over the cloak, it seemed to have blended with the darkness of the night which made it seem like two heads were floating in the air.

'If someone sees us like this..we will have to arrange a funeral,' thought Yu Dong as she walked over to the Ding house.

At the Ding house,

Everyone was already asleep, but Ding Nuan Nuan was an exception.

She looked at the small shed where she and her daddy were thrown and gritted her teeth. Her eyes flickered to the bowl that contained pig slop and was so furious that she wished she could eat someone's flesh.

Especially that Yu Mai! It was all because of him that her secret was out in the open like this. Now no one was going to take pity on her and her daddy! He was even more useless.

Her only relief was that Big Yu had followed her.

"Big Yu, what are we supposed to do now?" She asked the spirit that followed her.

Big Yu rolled her eyes. If not for the fact that she wanted to latch onto someone else she would have left this girl alone.

That Wu Junfen was a pervert. And a big one at that she thought that after escaping the doll using all the life force that she had collected, she would somehow manage to escape that woman's grasp but who would have thought that Wu Junfen knew that she was no longer possessing that doll right away!

That woman was simply too skilled.

She had to get out of here or else!

However, even though Big Yu wanted to escape, she first needed to deal with the spiritual ties that held her together with Ding Nuan Nuan.

"We need to lay for a while," Big Yu said to Ding Nuan Nuan. Even though she wanted to escape she was not going to let Ding Nuan Nuan know, the master who trapped her told her that if this little girl was to know that she was going to escape then Big Yu wouldn't be able to escape.

She thought for a while and made an excuse, "As long as we stay quiet and collect more life—luck, we will be fine."

As she spoke Big Yu sighed. She thought that she was going to snatch everything that belonged to her, who would have thought that she would have to escape like this?

"But for how long?" Ding Nuan Nuan didn't want to stay quiet and lower her head in front of the Ding family. They were supposed to be treating her well!

"Just for a while," Big Yu replied feeling annoyed. How many questions did this girl even have!?

She still needed to go out and —

Big Yu paused as she sensed a powerful yin energy coming towards her. When she peered out of the window of the shed where she was trapped, she saw Yu Dong and Wu Junfen!

These two women— they were not going to let go of her, were they?
