Harry Potter in Changed Prophecy and the Philosopher's Stone -Book 01-

Chapter 26: Harry-Potter-And-The-Philosopher's-Stone. (PT-03)

Continuation of the previous chapter due to the word limit in the post.

[ ... ]

As dinner went on, Harry noticed a general gaze continuing on him, Harry thought it was still on the subject of the philosopher's stone, but no, it was different and his snowy owl stretched out its leg, abruptly telling him to take out a roll of newspaper that he hadn't even noticed when he returned from his trip to Gringotes.

"Harry Potter: The-Boy-Or-Man-Who-Survived?"

That's what it said on the front cover of the Daily Prophet, which had certainly aimed to be late because the owls had been asked to take care of delivering the final grades today.

The article was very provocative about Harry and his life before Hogwarts, something that Rita knew well, but she swore by magic that she wouldn't expose anything serious or obscure, there she said things that many already knew, and some more private things that only his inner circle of friends knew.

And with every paragraph that was said, a slight tendency to mention Harry as a real man was shown as an insult to other pure-blood wizards, many of whom aimed to force women to marry them, and in the end many didn't pay enough attention to the relationship.

In any case, Harry was once again the subject of gossip in the house, especially among the older students, who understood very well what these insulting tendencies were about Potter doing something that others didn't do, but which he had once again ignored, because he had read an extremely formal request for thanks from the Gringotes Bank, something from a supposed Ragnok who Harry didn't know, but knew well that he was an important figure, in which they asked for his presence after the end of classes, so that they could thank him in person and not through letters.

And so ended the last dinner night of Harry James Potter's first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a source of motivation for some houses, a source of repulsion for others, a source of longing for some, and even of general theorizing about his latest achievements in his first year.

[ ... ]

It was midnight and many of the students were now exhausted, but they were already situated in front of the castle and ready to leave.

Neville's toad was found hidden in a corner of the bathroom, the notes were handed out to all the students, with the warning not to do any spells during the vacations. And because of this, Harry had magically diminished all his suitcases and kept them with him, because he really didn't want to leave anything behind in case something happened, all this since he had noticed a strange numerology recently described by hand in the Alchemy book that Dumbledore said was a gift from Flamel.

- I keep hoping that they'll forget to hand in the notes and the notice. - Fred Weasley lamented, knowing that he would have to wait until school started again to use magic.

Hagrid was ready to take them to the flotilla of boats crossing the lake, and the next moment they were boarding the Hogwarts Express with Neville going to find Padma Patill, the train having been altered by expansive magic so that at least four people per cabin could sleep comfortably while they arrived at their destination in Kings Cross first thing in the morning.

Knowing that something important might happen, Harry had made a good bed for his snowy owl to fall asleep in, so that only then would Harry finally be able to watch his journey home, with the beautiful clear dawn, the starry sky, the moon in its full vigor and radiance in the sky, and the dark, grassy fields passing quickly by the window.

Tonks was currently lying under his right leg, still wearing her graduation robes that she had received at the school leaving ritual, which Hermione had euphorically attended after dinner, and now she had fallen asleep curled up next to him, with him tucking her in as well. This made it quieter for him to analyze those numerologies and riddles that Flamel seemed to impose on him in the book.

After a few hours of pure travel, the sun was once again rising beautifully in the dawn. His friends grumbled slightly at the brightness, and so Harry finally smiled in pure relief when a small, red blur flew into the cabin, straight into Harry's lap.

The little bird was panting, and looked at Harry as if it was looking for some much-needed affection, something that was promptly received, with Harry paying little attention to what it was carrying, as he quickly picked it up and cradled it in his hands.

- Good girl... - Harry murmured to the red-feathered bird, which squawked comfortably in his hands in search of rest. Only then did Harry get up from where he was while he straightened up the two girls.

Of course, this had been noticed by some of his friends, especially Tonks, who had been clinging to Harry all night, but he seemed very focused on what he was doing as he opened the case and took a little red bird inside.

With him, he quickly arranged everything so that his second family member could quench her thirst and feed herself. He had set aside a kind of small bed on which the bird kept jumping as if she were extremely happy to be completing a task for her master, making him laugh gratefully at her sagacity and strength in getting away from the castle for the sake of her creator's goal.

This creator promptly opened his right hand as he saw a very beautiful and extremely attractive ruby-red stone in his hands.

- Well done, Fyexbolt. - Harry murmured to her, who pecked him affectionately. - Rest for now, I think things are going to get a bit hectic, and I need you rested and well fed. - Straight out of his briefcase, while reaching for his sword, he soon found himself in front of all his awake and very curious friends.

Picking up a book he had gotten the previous afternoon, Harry soon started whispering to some of the smarter ones, managing to notice a very special Stone with it:

- Harry, what do you hear? - Tonks asked confused, but Harry looked thoughtful, trying to understand something.

- Numbers... what does that mean? - Harry murmured thoughtfully as he read the back cover, he knew Niklaus meant something, the numbers were there and the writing was too recent to be something random.

- HARRY? - Hermione was the one who had shouted in doubt, thus attracting his attention. - Where did you get that Stone?

- Hm... would you believe I found it? - Harry said it as a question under negative nods from everyone there, who were looking at it with an excited glare.

- Well, I knew you wouldn't. - Harry said with a laugh. - Don't look at me like that, right from the start I said that the plan was to steal the Philosopher's Stone, so that we could prevent a thief from stealing it.

- Oh my God! I can't believe it. - Hermione said as if she had just gotten herself into the deepest trouble because of the manipulations of her best friend, who never fully explained his plans. - Did you really steal this society's most important artifact?

- Ah, stop... let's test it. - Harry said, pulling out his katana. - Any metal into gold, right... we'll see. - He muttered to himself as he picked up the Stone and tapped it slowly against the back of the blade.

- Hnpf, nothing... what a load of crap. - Harry said dejectedly. And then, after a few seconds, the inevitable happened. - Holy shit! - Harry said with an excited look on his face. - It really doesn't work. - He finished with amusement at the fact that it had failed and still left his friends hopeful.

- It was kind of obvious, wasn't it? - Ron tried to say, but soon lost his voice as a strong golden glow spread through the cabin.

And then, as he calmed down, a blade of pure gold with black details now appeared in front of them:

- Fuck, are you kidding? - Harry said almost ecstatically as he held it up. - Is this thing really real? - Harry continued euphorically. - Oh my God, I'm going to fuck up the economy of this society. - Harry laughed malevolently, imagining creating so much gold that it would end up becoming obsolete and devalued.

- Harry, Headmaster Dumbledore believes it was destroyed, we should give it back. - Tonks said seriously, under his unresponsive gaze. - That's what a normal person would say, but really? could you turn these things here into gold? You know, to help with my internship? - She continued amusingly with a kittenish look, as she pulled out a bag containing various objects.

- Go on. - Harry said, doing the same process with the things, Ron had gotten into it when he took some things too and Hermione couldn't help but slap herself on the forehead for really believing that Harry would have a common sense of responsibility.

- Here, my dear Jean. - Harry said, kneeling down as he handed her a goblet of pure gold that he wasn't sure why Tonks had such a thing for her.

- I shouldn't... - She muttered, but Harry stared at her.

- I won't take no for an answer. - Harry said as this time he placed it in her hands, and then took his katana, along with the Stone itself, and put it away in his Trickster Case. - No more jokes now. - Harry said seriously, pulling out the book he was holding and placing it in front of everyone. - As Dumbledore said, Flamel gave me this before I woke up, look at those last numerologies.

- I think it might be some kind of riddle, code, charade or whatever. - Harry explained. - The dye is fresh, and there was no reason to get this book. I think Flamel wants to tell me something, and I need to find out what it is.

- Strange... - Tonks murmured, guarding the objects that had once been of no value, but were now pure gold.

- Wouldn't that be an address? - Ron said without paying much attention, as he now had a bunch of gold goblets.

- Addresses, really? There are only numbers here. - Harry doubted that this would be the case, but Hermione's gaze soon made everyone realize that she understood. - Are you kidding? I've been trying that all night, miss.

- Quiet, everyone. - She abruptly said thoughtfully. - Numbers, addresses... Zip code, house number, telephone number, social security number, ID, driver's license, none of it matches..., but - she mumbled, seemingly trying to rule out all the wrong assumptions.

Then, with a clap and a smile, he said to everyone's curiosity:

- Latitude and longitude. - Hermione said. - Harry, Ron's right, it's an address, not of a house, but the location on the world map. - She mumbled as if that was quite easy.

Pulling up what looked like an image of a geographical map of the No-mag society in the book, she quickly drew on her knowledge from before she even entered Hogwarts... and that's... this way. - She informed him, circling a part of what the map showed to be the ocean.

- Really... so Flamel wants Harry to go to nowhere in the middle of the ocean? - Ron said skeptically.

- No, Ron, she's right. - Harry said as he remembered the first book about the wizarding world. - In Hogwarts: A History, they are told that some magical places on their planet appear to them as a mountain of ruins and rubble from an uninhabitable place

- Yes. - Tonks said, understanding. - So, if for Muggles this place on the map is nothing more than an expanse of water or even an ordinary, uninhabitable island, for us wizards, it would be a new place that only we could see and explore.

- Damn... you think too much together. - Ron said as if this caused some kind of pain in his head.

- It doesn't matter... Jean, which way should I go to get to this place? - Harry asked seriously and with conviction.

- Hm... north, the site is to the north, in the direction of the Atlantic Ocean. - Hermione explained. - But Harry, it's not just a matter of going, the latitude and longitude are very exact, to get where you need to go the numbers will have to match up, and that could take months. - She said, already noticing that her best friend wanted to go and nothing could change that crazy idea.

- Yes, Jean... But forget that I can fly. - He explained as she closed her eyes. - Okay, flying out of control, but the last time I did it I managed to keep my consciousness and actions, I just need to control this flying ability and avoid being seen.

- Oh, God, don't tell me you're really thinking of not going to find your relatives after fleeing their home, and instead aiming to go on this crazy hunt for Nicolas Flamel. - She asked.

- Of course not, that would be crazy, what do you think I am? - He said under the relieved gaze of the girl with long hair that looked more like a brown lion's mane. - I'm thinking of getting off the train before the station, because at the station there will surely be witches from the ministry or some crazy order from the principal, who would stop me and hunt me down. - He finished this, as if it really were a master plan.

- Good, Harry. - Tonks said affirmatively with a thumbs-up aimed at him. - Paranoid and cautious, like one of the best Aurors in our society.

- No, Harry, it's crazy. - Hermione reproached him.

- More crazy than what we did to get the Stone? - Harry laughed as he self-congratulated himself for magically reducing all his suitcases, and not allowing them to be stored by the train, because his paranoia really did act ahead of time and, in the end, it all came together.

All this while he was now returning them to their normal size and throwing them through his Tricky Case. Hedwig's had complained abruptly when Harry had picked her up and left her in the armchair, her cage being confiscated.

And so there he was, with everything, even his blade tucked away, an owl on his shoulder and a single briefcase in his hands.

- Sorry, Jean... but I have to do this. - Harry said. - You know that danger attracts me, and I really feel that I must return the Philosopher's Stone to its rightful owner.

- Will you be careful? - She asked cutely, and Harry felt like laughing, because the idea alone was completely crazy.

- But of course... send my regards to your parents. - He said, hugging her and kissing her on the forehead.

- Ron, I'm sorry about the runaway, I'll try to find a way to visit your house before school, I'll communicate with your brothers and they'll pass the message on, okay? - he asked, under the redhead's confirmation.

- Nynpha... - Harry was about to start, but then she jumped on him, kissing him on the mouth.

- I know, you love me... I certainly do. - She said comically. - But you can relax, I'll talk to my mother about our future marriage, and if anything goes wrong, you know we'll have to live as soul mates separated by fate. - She explained euphorically about how Harry was going to escape from the express and fake a romantic scene.

- Well, that's a lot of crazy stuff. But I'm kind of looking forward to it. - Harry said, heading out of the cabin under the attention of his friends.

Based on what he was walking towards, he aimed to look up at the ceiling, which, as he passed by a booth, still attracted the attention of two redheads who already sensed something coming.

And so, stopping quickly as he raised his arms, Harry quickly opened one of the sun windows of the express.

- What is our golden boy up to? - Fred asked doubtfully.

- Certainly something illegal. - George finished with a chorus of laughter from himself and his brother.

- Well, bitches... I'll say goodbye for today. - Harry said, smiling at everyone as he lowered his trick suitcase and whispered to his owl. The owl confirmed this as it clutched the small object in its paws and flew away.

- Hermione, Nynpha, Ron... Don't stop sending letters or I'll be pissed off, I'll answer them as soon as I can. - He said jokingly, to everyone's approval, and a fearful Hermione.

- George, Fred... the same goes for you. - Harry said, making fun, to the euphoric laughter of both of them.

Taking the slightest leap while holding onto the sun window of the Hogwarts express, Harry quickly climbed onto the top of it, to the murmur of his friends. And so he concentrated as he felt the sharp breeze of the wind against him and held on tight so as not to be thrown off the roof of the train.

Looking down, there was an extremely high drop, and this was the perfect moment to start his new adventure.

For with a single leap and the dragging of his body by the strong wind, his body had dissolved into pure, magical, powerful darkness, which began to swirl around the reddish express under the attention of all the euphoric and surprised students inside.

And so, finishing his third lap around the train as it stabilized, he was soon off into the high heavens on the back of his faithful owl.

Leaving behind a train full of students curious about the dark and powerful mass that was now disappearing from their sight over the horizon.

This marks the real end of Harry James Potter's first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as he joins the magical society of the Mirror Dimension in the Kingdom of England and has the task of finding Niklaus Flamel in order to return his famous and attractive creation: The Philosopher's Stone.
