Chapter 165: The War enters its Climax
The battlefield stretched for miles, an endless expanse of dust and steel where the fate of the shinobi world would soon be decided. Thousands of ninja from all five great nations stood together—former enemies, now allies, uncertain yet determined.
Yet, doubt lingered in their hearts. Not even a month ago, they had fought against one another. The bitterness of old grudges still burned, and the shadow of "Madara Uchiha" loomed over them like a specter of doom.
Then, Harry stepped forward.
With his distinctive golden eyes, clad in battle-ready robes that shimmered with latent power, he surveyed the gathered warriors. They needed more than a leader—they needed a reason to believe.
He raised his hand, and silence fell over the ranks. Then, his voice, carrying a weight far beyond mere words, rang out across the battlefield.
"Look around you!" he called, his voice booming with magic-enhanced clarity. "Once, you were enemies. Once, you fought each other, bled for your nations, for your leaders, for your people. And yet here we stand, not as enemies, not as strangers, but as allies!"
He took a step forward, his gaze piercing through the doubt in their hearts.
"Our enemy would have us remain divided. He would have us believe that hatred is eternal, that the cycle of war is unbreakable! But look at yourselves! You, who once held grudges, now stand shoulder to shoulder. You, who once swore vengeance against each other, now prepare to defend one another!"
He let the words sink in before continuing, his voice quieter but no less powerful.
"This war is not just about defeating an enemy. It is about proving that we are more than the chains of our past! It is about proving that unity is stronger than division! That our will is greater than their lies!"
His eyes glowed with raw power as he raised his fist.
"We fight not as separate nations, not as divided clans—but as one! As warriors of the world! And we will show them that we will not fall!"
A roar erupted from the shinobi ranks. Whatever doubts they had were burned away in the fire of Harry's words. For the first time, they did not see themselves as separate villages forced into an uneasy alliance. They saw themselves as one.
And with that, they were ready.
The first attack did not come from the enemy they expected.
Danzo had disappeared, and Konoha's higher-ups had taken note. No one was surprised when Edo Tensei abominations, along with clones of Danzo himself, appeared on every front, sowing chaos. Each clone wielded Sharingan and Izanagi, twisting the battlefield into a nightmare of unpredictability.
But Harry had grown tired of this game.
With a single wave of his hand, the Edo Tensei shattered. Golden light surged through the battlefield, severing the connection between the resurrected dead and their forced servitude. The reanimated shinobi, many of whom had been legendary warriors, found themselves freed. Their bodies dissolved into light, and their souls were absorbed into Harry's grasp.
Across the battlefield, there was stunned silence. The war had only just begun, and yet an entire army had been nullified in an instant.
All except one.
Because deep within the enemy's stronghold, one man had reacted fast enough.
The real Madara Uchiha had been watching. And the moment the Edo Tensei was dispelled, he had simply cast it again.
A single, amused chuckle echoed through the battlefield as the resurrected Madara stepped onto the field himself.
Far from the battlefield, on the isolated Turtle Island, Naruto was training with Killer B. But this wasn't the same rushed grasp of power as before—this was different.
Naruto had fought Kurama for control before, subjugating him with sheer force and keeping him under a Genjutsu so he could use KCM1. But that was never a true bond, never a real connection.
Now, as Naruto stood before the giant fox in his mindscape, he understood.
Madara had tormented both of them. Used them. Controlled them.
And that realization was enough to change everything.
For the first time, Naruto did not force his will upon Kurama. Instead, he offered it.
"I'm not your master," Naruto said, staring up at the massive beast. "I never should've tried to be. But we both know what we're up against. So let's fight together—not as prisoner and jailer, but as partners."
Kurama studied him for a long moment. Then, for the first time in his existence, the great Nine-Tails smirked.
"Heh… fine, brat. But if you slow me down, I'm taking over."
Their fists met in the mindscape, and outside, Naruto's body exploded with golden chakra. But this time, it wasn't just an external shroud. This time, it was complete.
This time, it was KCM2.
Back on the battlefield, another horror unfolded.
Obito, ever the opportunist, did not waste time. With a flick of his wrist, the seven captured Tailed Beasts emerged from their prisons, their massive forms shaking the land as they materialized.
Roars of devastation filled the sky as the beasts rampaged, laying waste to everything in their path. Entire squads were scattered, villages in the distance were leveled, and the ground itself cracked beneath their sheer power.
And standing at the center of the devastation, waiting, were two men.
Obito.Madara.
They stood side by side, watching as the Shinobi Alliance scrambled to deal with the catastrophe. Their plan was in motion. Soon, the Jinchuriki would fall into their hands, and victory would be theirs.
No one told them just how badly this would fail.
Because as the dust settled, standing against them, unfazed by the destruction, were the Kage.
And with them, was Harry Potter.
The final battle had begun.
