He proposed, I Said Yes

Nuella: I have the feeling the rest of the day is going to be the same as this morning, I don't think I can avoid him. I have to learn to deal with him been around me. as we were walking to class I gist my bestfriend about everything that happened at the coffee shop.

 She laughed out teasing me with a smiling face "lover girl" she said, Nuella rolled her eyes, her cheeks heating up, I smirked because I love the way I can make her blush. Daniel is a nice guy though, "she said"

 Nuella: today at school wasn't really that fun, the usual activities we had lectures and few assignments done it was a stressful day, but Daniel made it lovely with his presence around me.

 Daniel: Do want to grab some food before we go home? I asked. she smiled at me shyly "come on gorgeous, let's go, I smiled, opening the car having her sit down like the princess that she is.

Nuella: We drove off and quickly grab some food, on our heading home a conversation sparkled between us which got us talking about lot of things till he pulled up at my gate.

Daniel: As she was about to step out I held her hand looking into her eyes, can we go out on a date at 8pm this evening? she quickly stepped out of the car leaving me wondering if I have been turned down again.

 Daniel: I wish she would give me something, anything. I don't like the way she closes up around me.

I was making my way home when my phone beeped. I was surprised when I saw that it was a message from Nuella.

 Nuella: I will see you in few hours I promise, "she said" I have a lot of things to do before 8pm she added.

 Daniel: ok. see you later dear, "he replied" I can't wait to see you he uttered smiling to himself. 

Nuella: As soon as I got home I made sure I did everything that I needed to do, it was literally 7pm and I haven't decided on what to wear, I guess I have to go with something simple. I sat on my bed checking out few dresses. I heard my phone beeped, and it was a message from Daniel he texted me the location of the restaurant we meeting at, it almost 7:20pm and am still going through my clothes, I suddenly noticed a white simple bodycon dress I picked it up and put it on, I had a light makeup done.

 Nuella: My hair was in a high ponytail, I grabbed my bag, heading out.

 I finally made my way to the restaurant, I looked around trying to spot him, I saw him waving at me, I quickly walked towards him, he gently helped me with the sit I put my best smile on, he was looking good though.

 Nuella: "hey," I said brightly.

Daniel: "Hello," miss Nuella, "he replied" you look stunning.

 I giggled, you look good too "I said.

We ordered few drinks and delicious meals, as we were eating out, we got caught up in a conversation, we literally talked about lot of things. I asked him questions and he answered sharing almost everything about him with me, we had a smooth conversation. in the middle of our conversation he held my hand and asked the same question proposing to me, would you do me the favor of becoming my girlfriend? "he asked" smiling.

 My heart skipped, a silence came between us, something that happens always, I SAID YES I will be your girlfriend, without overthinking anything the feeling is mutual I can't deny it anymore. I guess you are not that bad after all, I teased. 

Nuella: He gave me a grateful smile, one which I returned. we had to wrap up and leave because we have lectures to attend to the next day. 

Whilst driving home he moved his hand playing with the strand of my hair. for a moment, I closed my eyes and smiled. I could see him watching me out of the corner of his eyes, not long we pulled up at my gate, we stared at each other for a moment I couldn't handle his gaze, he came close and gave me a kiss on my forehead, we hugged for few minutes then I stepped out of the car "goodnight" I said softly. 

 Daniel: see you at school tomorrow baby, "he uttered" he smirked, winking at me before leaving. 

Nuella: Such a naughty boy I smiled and head inside. 

 The next day at school, after few lessons, Saraph and I walked to a spot where we usually sit. I gist her on my date with Daniel yesterday the happiest part of it was he proposed and I said "YES"

She jumped hugging me so tight, :lover girl" she said. am happy for you, you now dating the most handsome guy on campus she giggled.

Nuella: Whilst talking to Saraph my eyes fell on Daniel, as he was carrying on with one of the girls, his course mate" she was smiling and enjoying his company. I found myself becoming jealous. he must have noticed me staring at him because he looked up and smiling at me, it seemed like a sympathetic smile, I gave him my best smile in return' not wanting him to notice am jealous. 

 Few minutes passed, he walked up to me "come on, Nuella give me a hug, Daniel laughed. I giggled, backing away from him. but he came back towards me, he looked at me with a smug look on his face. he grabbed me, pulling me close to him and wrapping his arms firmly around me so I couldn't pull away from him. you are my girl you don't have to be jealous about anybody "he said" oh goodness how did he notice "I said, he laughed continuing to hold onto me.
