Annihilation. Among all the laws of the universe, it is one of the most aggressive. Perhaps it is not as destructive as the law of destruction or causes deterioration like ruin. Annihilation was something more inclined towards death. It is not the law of death, but it was related to it; it was not destruction, but it was still a part of it.

Anaklusmos was a sabre, not a sword. Weapons called swords were elegant, mutable, and agile. And while a sword could easily cause death, its core was not absolutely focused on something like annihilation. The sword could cut a body, non-living things, even space. However, the sabre was different.

The core of the sabre was dominance, absolute authority under the heaven with its edge. It is said that the sword was a universal weapon, a weapon referred to as jade. The spear was the quintessential drill weapon, and commonly referred to as a dragon and the king of a hundred soldiers. The saber was a tiger, an emperor weapon.

A saber like jade, a saber like tiger, and a spear like dragon.

The three weapons were undoubtedly powerful, but the saber was different from the other two. The saber was the emperor of weapons, reigning supreme. In order to use a saber to its fullest extent, one needed an indomitable will, with the word 'kill' at its core.

With a saber like in hand, indomitable of will and invincible of mind, you could be invincible in all other aspects of battle!

Only with this kind of invincibility could one achieve the truth of the saber and annihilate everything in your path, with a saber slash that has no end in sight, you can put an end to all things!

This was the current core of Anaklusmos.

Percy smiled as he understood this. He had finally advanced to the 71st level soul saint rank. The true body of his martial spirit awakened with the absorption of the spirit ring, and thus, the domain appeared as well.

Saber Domain: Divine Annihilation!

Under this domain, not only did his saber intent increase, everything within his domain range would decrease in total power by 20% and increase his own by 30%. This could also be said in another way: Percy could display power over his 100%. At the same time, every attack would have the attribute of annihilation, causing even the souls of those killed to be annihilated. Even the possibility of reincarnation would be completely eliminated.

 "You're the best, partner," Percy smiled, and Anaklusmos trembled for a moment.

But, looking up, Percy changed his expression to one of seriousness. He noticed that the huge scarlet pillar seemed to glow and envelop him in a white light. At that moment, it seemed like it was protected by some sort of special field.

"Then it's time to begin, huh?" muttering, Percy walked towards the stairs that descended towards the lake of blood. The steps were a pure white color that even blood couldn't stick to. Each step wasn't too high, and three steps seemed to be one meter down.

Realizing this, Percy pursed his lips. "I have to descend 999 meters. So, more than two thousand steps?"

Percy stepped down a step and felt a weight on his body. It was as if gravity was pushing him down to the ground with a bit of force. At the same time, a small killing intent flooded his body.

 "I understand... that's how it is," Percy didn't think any further, he began to descend step by step. He now understood that the white cloak was a protective field. So that even when he should feel immense heat and his body was burning, thanks to the cloak, this wouldn't happen. In the end, only the pressure and the killing intent due to so much blood would stop him.

This was no longer just a test, but also a mental and physical training.

As Percy continued down, the field around him allowed him to go down with his eyes open. He could see that beneath the surface it was all red, he could barely see about five steps in front of him, and then it was all red. When he reached the hundredth step, the pressure made his knees bend and the killing intent turned his eyes blood red.

Percy didn't know because he was concentrating on counting the steps he was going down and resisting the pressure, but it had taken him more than five hours to descend that flight. And as he continued down, the pressure increased, causing his bones to ache.

"So hot... it seems that even with the protective layer, the heat passes through. It was good to have tempered my body in the yin yang well of ice and fire with those two immortal herbs."

"If that wasn't the case, I would be cooked right now."

Looking seriously ahead, Percy continued his descent to the three hundredth step.

 "Not good!" Percy's eyes widened as the powerful pressure caused him to kneel down. Right now, the heat was a little unbearable. His expression was painful and even the whites of his eyes were red due to the red veins in his eyes. His forehead had blue veins bulging out as he gritted his teeth.

Percy had made a mistake by taking a step…

He completely underestimated the test!

"Shit… Kukgh," spitting out blood that was barely visible due to the red of the lake made of blood, Percy tried to get up. His back was bent forward as the veins on his forehead and neck bulged out due to the force exerted. His knees trembled as he tried to get up. But, with the insane killing intent constantly penetrating his mind, it made it difficult for him to concentrate.

 Suddenly, a powerful force sent him flying upwards, pulling him out of the lake of blood and hitting the floor of the platform hard.

Percy's eyes stared at the darkness above in disbelief. His body bathed in blood and hot due to the high temperatures hurt a lot. His hair was red from the blood and he had slight spasms every few seconds.

"Now I understand why the test time was one year... it's hard," sighing in resignation, Percy sat down to rest a bit. He felt annoyed, angry at himself. He had forgotten that things were never easy, at least not when he was involved.

"Let's go again!" Percy jumped with a gaze full of fire. He no longer waited, he wanted to try out all the possible skills he could currently use. The moment his body was covered in blood, he immediately jumped towards the 300th step. At that moment, he opened the Saber Domain: Divine Annihilation.

 The unstoppable and indomitable force of the saber surged out in all directions, causing all the blood around Percy to disappear before all the blood further away collapsed inward. The pressure immediately lessened and the killing intent that was directed towards his mind vanished.

"Blood King Wings!" A pair of dark golden wings appeared on Percy's back, causing him to begin absorbing life. Everything around him was blood, so he could absorb it to recover his injuries or exhaustion.

Right now, Percy wasn't holding anything back. And if he could use his blood abilities, he would already be stacking up the fifth and sixth spirit abilities. Percy's first spirit ability was: Bloody Edge, which slowed down the enemy's speed with his slashes.

The second spirit ability: God-Slaying Saber Net, which condensed the intent of the saber into a net of inescapable slashes, thus causing great individual or group damage.

 The third spirit ability: Unrivaled Saber, which when used, concentrated all power into a single powerful slash. Able to even damage the enemy's spiritual sea from the intent contained in the attack.

The fourth spirit ability: Absolute Edge. Every attack after it was activated ignored the enemy's defense.

The fifth spirit ability: Saber Above the Sky, an ability that allowed him to manipulate his martial spirit from a distance and even fly above it.

The sixth spirit ability: Saber Light, a long-distance ability that concentrated all of the attack power and intent of the sabre, sending out a powerful light that swallows and cuts everything in its path.

Finally, his most recent spirit ability, the true body of the God-Slaying Saber.

If Percy could use his spirit abilities, he would be currently descending on his sword while firing a huge beam downwards to descend with less trouble.

However, that was not possible, he could only use his mastery of the sabre to prevent the killing intent from flooding his mind and resist with his own strength.
