Kai awoke in the chamber, the Dragon's Heart glowing faintly in his hands. Lyria and Ryn rushed to his side.

"You did it!" Lyria exclaimed, relief evident in her voice.

Ryn chuckled. "Looks like you've got another admirer, Kai. Better get used to it."

Kai sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "This isn't a popularity contest, Ryn."
