It's the truest line I have ever come across in my life before I got thrown in this sea of never ending darkness. It's been so long since I got here, days, months or perhaps a year? I no longer remember it because there is no way to track time and what should I be tracking it for?

I don't have college to go to that I hate so much, no parents who got divorced and threw their mess all over me while I tried to get a clear view of life. No girlfriend, no friends, just a screen with games and anime that were like angels in hell that I pushed into. Well it may not be for some, but for me it was.

But at last, I was finally in the peace that I always desired. It was the best option that life chose for me after my death at the tender age of 17.

At that moment, a circular glowing portal appeared right in front of me and it sucked me so hard, I almost lost my consciousness but not before leaving behind some gratitude words to the one behind this.

As I slowly opened my eyes, the soft morning light filtered through sheer curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. My eyes squinted at the unfamiliar surroundings, taking in the scattered posters of anime girls on the walls and the cluttered desk piled high with textbooks and crumpled papers. A faint scent of pine and something sweet lingered in the air.

My mind raced with lots of questions. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and planted feet on the cool floor, trying to piece together the fragments of the moment before. There was a hazy recollection of deceptive mechanical voice.

I caught sight of a mirror across the room, and the reflection staring back at me was that of a high school boy—messy dark hair, a sprinkle of freckles across nose, and eyes that held a mix of curiosity and bewilderment.

With a deep breath, I stood up, feeling the rush of adrenaline. I had to figure out where I was, who this boy was. As I took a tentative step forward, the familiar blue screen popped up in front of me and so a vein on my forehead.

DxD? For real?! The harem anime in which the protagonist was stupid pervert but somehow girls were even more stupid to fall in love with him...It's not that bad I guess. But then I realized I was missing something very important, a power to step into supernatural or dark side of this world.
