Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Unlimited Storage Currency Area Lights Up
Dylan stared blankly at the system interface before him, his mind struggling to process what he was seeing. Next to him, the small coal-black creature, Little Shadow, licked his palm affectionately.
"Moo..."
Dylan absentmindedly patted its head. "Be good, go play for now."
Then, he turned his full attention back to the achievements that had just been unlocked.
"Super double affinity for black magic? Three high-level forbidden spells at full level? The ability to ignore negative emotions when using black magic???"
He couldn't help but click his tongue in disbelief.
"Is this system even serious? Are you really an achievement system, or just a black magic system in disguise?"
Skeptical, Dylan scrolled through the list of new achievements.

Dylan raised an eyebrow. "Why is the Dark Magic Affinity doubled while normal magic and potion affinity only increase by one?"
Even so, the achievement rewards were nothing to scoff at. He counted them excitedly, feeling like he had struck gold.
First and foremost, the dark magic talent was overwhelming. His affinity for dark magic had skyrocketed, and he now had the ability to use it without suffering any negative emotional effects. On top of that, he could master forbidden spells at an astonishing speed.
"If I ever become a dark wizard, Voldemort and Grindelwald would be out of a job—the Death Eaters would worship me instead."
Dylan chuckled at the thought.
Then he noticed another achievement reward:
[Achievement]: I am such a good boy
Description: A proper wizard should be able to erase their tracks.
Reward: Prevents others from indirectly tracking your magical traces.
"In other words, no one can trace the spells I cast unless they witness it firsthand."
Dylan's smile widened. "This is insanely useful. If I'm ever forced to use the Unforgivable Curses, as long as I deal with any witnesses, there'll be no evidence left."
This achievement was practically a free pass for committing dark magic undetected. The idea didn't disturb him as much as it probably should have.
"Maybe embracing the darkness isn't so bad. Darkness is lonely too, after all."
His gaze then shifted to the black light orbs floating above the system panel—rewards for mastering forbidden spells.
"Which three dark magic spells did I unlock this time?"
One by one, he tapped on them. Instantly, the orbs burst into a dazzling black glow. A flood of information filled his mind as he instantly mastered three more spells.
[New Spells Mastered]
1. Fiendfyre (Max Level)
A cursed fire so powerful it can destroy anything, including Horcruxes. Its flames are nearly impossible to extinguish with ordinary water.
2. Morsmordre (Max Level)
The Dark Mark summoning spell—used by Death Eaters to project the symbol of a skull and snake into the sky. Also known to deter spirits and some magical creatures.
3. Parasitopossio (Max Level)
A parasitic possession spell that allows a dying being to merge with another life form, prolonging its existence at the cost of the host's vitality.
Dylan frowned at the last one.
"This reminds me of the back of Professor Quirrell's head..."
The thought sent a shiver down his spine.
"This spell is... seriously messed up."
He now had six dark magic spells in total—each one highly advanced, including the Unforgivable Curses.
"I might as well be a walking dark magic arsenal."
Dylan sighed, rubbing his temple. "I seriously impress myself sometimes."
At least some of the later achievement rewards were more practical.
He glanced at another reward:
Unlimited Storage & Currency Area Unlocked
When he clicked on his wizard hat icon, a new interface appeared.
[Name]: Dylan Hawkwood
[Magic]: Fiendfyre, Cruciatus, Imperius, Morsmordre, Parasitopossio, Avada Kedavra
[Items]: None
[Money]: None
[Pet]: Coal Ball (Little Shadow)
"So now I can store any item here?"
Not just system rewards—he could now store his own money and items in a personal inventory.
"Unlimited storage for money? That's... insane."
A smirk crept onto Dylan's face as he thought of the possibilities.
"So, all my money and items will be kept safely in my system panel? No one can ever steal from me?"
The realization sent a thrill through him. This was far more than just a convenience—it was a serious advantage in the wizarding world.
As he stared at his ever-growing list of dark magic abilities and powerful perks, Dylan couldn't shake the feeling that he was being shaped into something far greater than just an ordinary wizard.
Perhaps... something much darker.
But was that really such a bad thing?
