Chapter 8: Chapter 8: The Infinite Storage Currency Zone is Lit
"What… what are all these achievements?"
Dylan stared in disbelief. Beside him, Coalball stuck out its tongue and licked his palm.
"Moo…"
"Good boy, go play over there for now."
Dylan patted Little Shadow's head and turned his attention to the achievements he had unlocked.
"Super Double Affinity for Dark Magic? Three Max-Level High-Tier Forbidden Spells? Casting Dark Magic Without Negative Emotions???"
Dylan couldn't help but click his tongue.
*Is this system even serious?*
"Are you sure you're an achievement system? Feels more like you're just a dark magic system disguised as an achievement system."
Dylan was skeptical.
He scrolled down for a while before spotting a new achievement.

——————————
"Uh… why does dark magic get all these crazy boosts, while normal magic and potion affinity just get a measly +1?"
Dylan wiped the sweat from his brow.
Still, the rewards from all these achievements were nothing to scoff at.
Excitedly, Dylan began tallying them up.
First, his dark magic talent.
Not only had his affinity for dark magic skyrocketed, but he also gained the ability to cast dark magic without being affected by negative emotions!
Moreover, he felt like he could master any forbidden spell in no time.
And if he were to use an Unforgivable Curse now, its power would be even stronger than before!
"With this kind of dark magic talent, if I became a dark wizard, the Death Eaters wouldn't need to follow Voldemort or even Grindelwald—they'd just worship me."
When Dylan looked at the achievement—**[I'm Such a Good Kid]**—he noticed its reward was the ability to prevent anyone from indirectly tracking his magical traces!
In other words, if someone wanted to know what magic he had used, they'd have to witness it firsthand!
And even then, eyes could be deceived!
This reward was incredibly useful to Dylan.
If he ever had to use an Unforgivable Curse, as long as he dealt with the witness, no one would be able to trace it back to him!
These rewards made Dylan feel like being called the Dark Lord wasn't so bad after all.
*So what if I embrace the darkness?*
*Even darkness gets lonely sometimes!*
"But I wonder which three dark magic spells I'll get this time."
Dylan looked at the three black orbs floating at the top of the panel, glowing like dark stars.
He activated them one by one.
In an instant, the black stars erupted with a blinding light.
Dylan felt that familiar sensation again—the feeling of instantly mastering not one, but three spells.
**[Message]**: Congratulations! You've mastered the max-level spell—Fiendfyre!
**[Message]**: Congratulations! You've mastered the max-level spell—Morsmordre!
**[Message]**: Congratulations! You've mastered the max-level spell—Parasitopossio!
"These dark magic spells…"
The first two were familiar to him: Fiendfyre and Morsmordre.
Fiendfyre could even destroy Horcruxes, making it one of the few substances capable of doing so. Its power far surpassed the regular Flame-Freezing Charm, and ordinary water couldn't extinguish it.
Morsmordre, on the other hand, summoned a skull into the air, acting as a signal but also capable of intimidating spirits and dark creatures.
As for the last one, Parasitopossio…
Dylan quickly grasped its effects.
This dark magic spell could forcibly transfer a dying life force into another living being, using the latter's vitality to sustain the former.
However, what the resulting fusion would look like was anyone's guess.
This spell immediately reminded Dylan of Professor Quirrell's back-of-the-head situation.
"Ugh…" Dylan shuddered.
"This dark magic is just too evil…"
Dylan shook his head.
By now, he had mastered a total of six dark magic spells, all of them high-tier or even Unforgivable Curses.
Each one was more sinister than the last!
"I can't believe this…"
Fortunately, the rewards from the later achievements were still decent.
"Infinite storage for money? Storage space?"
He glanced at the system panel and noticed that after clicking the wizard hat icon, a new information bar had appeared.
————————
**[Name]**: Dylan Hawkwood
**[Magic]**: Fiendfyre, Crucio, Imperio, Morsmordre, Parasitopossio, Avada Kedavra
**[Items]**: None
**[Money]**: None
**[Pet]**: Coalball (Shadow)
——————————
After checking it out, Dylan realized that the storage space reward allowed him to store items outside of system rewards, all categorized under the **[Items]** tab.
The infinite storage for money was even simpler to understand.
The new **[Money]** tab in his information bar was the newly unlocked zone.
"So, I can store all my money and items directly in the system panel now?"
