Hokage Teacher: With Dimensional Teacter System

Chapter 59: Chapter 60: Learning Sealing Jutsu

After finishing his disciples' training on Sunday afternoon, Mu Yue went to the main city. Instead of heading home, he went straight to Minato's house. The previous night, during dinner at Mu Yue's place, Kushina and Minato had mentioned that they had nearly perfected their braised pork recipe and were ready to start making it the next afternoon. They invited Mu Yue to come and check it out if he had time.

When Mu Yue arrived, the two had just finished cooking the pork belly and were preparing to add soy sauce for color.

As Mu Yue was about to help, Kushina stopped him.

"Mu Yue, just watch for now. If there's any step that's off, feel free to point it out. There's no need for you to help," Kushina said.

Kushina felt a bit embarrassed since she had been freeloading on Mu Yue's meals every night.

Minato handed Mu Yue a fruit platter and poured him a glass of water, smiling warmly.

"Mu Yue, you don't need to help today. Just be the supervisor for a change."

Minato shared Kushina's idea, thinking that they should handle this themselves.

"Then I'll be lazy," Mu Yue said with a smile.

"You can poke small holes in the skin of the pork with a skewer before adding the soy sauce. This way, the pork will absorb the flavor better, and it will fry more evenly later," Mu Yue reminded them.

Kushina and Minato hadn't thought of that little detail before.

With Mu Yue's suggestion, the two smoothly completed the steps: frying, slicing, preparing the sauce, and steaming.

By the time they finished, night had already fallen.

"This braised pork is delicious, but it's such a hassle to make. You must be starving, Mu Yue," Kushina said.

Compared to the simpler home-cooked meals she usually made, this dish was far more complicated. It involved three separate steps: boiling, frying, and steaming.

"It's fine, since I've just been watching," Mu Yue replied.

As they spoke, Minato brought the finished pork belly to the table.

"Now, it's time for Mu Yue to give us a score," Minato joked.

"You've been working for so long, why don't you taste your own work first?" Mu Yue didn't rush to taste it himself, instead encouraging Minato and Kushina to try it.

"Let's eat together, then," Kushina said, already quite hungry and deciding not to bother with formalities.

The three quickly served their bowls, saying "Let's eat!" before diving into the food.

"Exactly! It's that perfect balance of fatty but not greasy!" Kushina exclaimed, excited, as she picked up a piece of meat with her chopsticks and added a bite of rice. Her face was full of satisfaction, feeling accomplished.

She felt like she hadn't wasted her time and had successfully learned how to make a really delicious dish.

Although she still thought Mu Yue's cooking was better, Kushina believed there was no one who could cook better than him. It's only natural that the second-best would be a little worse than the best.

"When Jiraiya-sensei comes back, I'm definitely going to make this for him," Minato said, eating while smiling.

He was also very pleased with the dish and wanted to share it with Jiraiya.

"Mm, the quality is very high, and there's not much to criticize," Mu Yue said after tasting it.

He wasn't just flattering them to gain favor, as this was a fairly simple dish to make. Plus, he had been there to guide them, so naturally, the result wouldn't be bad.

However, a slightly awkward moment soon arrived: the braised pork was quickly finished, and the three stared at the empty plates.

"Sorry, I forgot to make other dishes," Minato said, realizing the mistake.

"I was so focused that I completely forgot," Kushina added with an apologetic smile.

"I'll stir-fry a couple of dishes," Mu Yue said as he got up.

"This isn't right. You're our guest, how can we let you cook?" Kushina said, though she was tempted to agree.

"Should I go home, cook, and bring the food over?" Mu Yue asked with a smile.

"I'll wash the vegetables," Minato said, quietly getting up.

Kushina thought about the flavors of Mu Yue's cooking and finally couldn't resist nodding in agreement.

"Mu Yue, since you're interested in sealing jutsu, have you been studying any recently? I can teach you some sealing techniques," Kushina asked, unable to resist offering to return the favor for all the meals Mu Yue had provided.

"I've mostly been reading various theory books. Do you have any recommendations for sealing jutsu? It would be best if the library has them," Mu Yue replied after a moment of thought.

"If you haven't started learning yet, how about I teach you a beginner sealing technique from the Uzumaki clan? It'll also help test your talent for sealing jutsu. If you master it in a day, you'll be a sealing jutsu prodigy. If it takes a week, you'll have sealing talent. But if it takes more than a month, I suggest you focus on something else," Kushina said.

"How long did it take you to learn it, Kushina?" Mu Yue asked, as he began preparing a pan for oil.

"One day," Kushina answered proudly, clearly waiting for Mu Yue to ask.

"Then you're a sealing jutsu prodigy," Mu Yue said, praising her.

"It's just average. I've just learned most of the sealing jutsu from the Uzumaki clan," Kushina said modestly, though her smile betrayed her pride.

After finishing their meal, Kushina handed Mu Yue a scroll and went to wash the dishes. Minato then began explaining the technique to Mu Yue.

Mu Yue listened intently, perhaps more focused than ever before.

"This sealing technique is called 'One-Finger Quick Seal.' It creates a chakra-sealing seal at high speed, but the binding power isn't very strong, so it can easily be broken. It's mostly used for beginner training," Minato explained.

It was hard to say whether Minato was really good at teaching sealing jutsu or if Mu Yue had a natural talent for it, but the 'One-Finger Quick Seal' felt surprisingly simple to him.

Mu Yue didn't show this outwardly and just asked a few questions from time to time.

On Monday, Gangzi Tie arrived early at the ninja school. Seeing that Shen Yue Outon hadn't arrived yet, he nodded in satisfaction. He placed a novel on the desk and started reading.

When he sensed Shen Yue Outon was about to arrive, Gangzi Tie put the textbook away, leaving only the novel on the desk.

"Zitie, didn't you say you didn't need to review? Why are you here so early, reading a book?" Shen Yue Outon asked in surprise, having stayed up late studying until 1 a.m.

Gangzi Tie waved the novel in his hand and said, "I'm not reviewing, this is a new ninja novel that just came out. It's really good."

Seeing the cover and title, Shen Yue Outon relaxed and smiled.

"Reading novels to relax is definitely a good choice."

"So, Zitie likes reading novels? I'll buy a popular one tomorrow and give it to him, so he can read it for two weeks," Shen Yue Outon thought to himself.

He felt that his first place position was more secure than ever.

"Outon, you don't look very energetic. You didn't stay up studying, right? It's not good for your health, and it won't help with the exam," Gangzi Tie said, testing him with a concerned expression.

"No, I just lost track of time playing games with my cousins last night," Shen Yue Outon said naturally.

"Playing games to relax is also good," Gangzi Tie smiled, thinking his first place was more certain.

"Games and novels? What's this all about?" Hongdou entered the classroom and was immediately curious.
