Hokage travelling to crused world - why everyone is traitor

Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Descendants of the Sixth God-Tier! The Growth Experience of the Imperial Emperor

Bai Kakashi felt a wave of confusion wash over him.

No… This doesn't make sense.

He furrowed his brow, trying to process what he had just heard.

"Wait a minute. Are you saying that your empire's territory includes the Pure Land?!"

He hesitated before adding, "And even satellites… and alien spaces?"

The implications of such a claim were mind-boggling. What kind of empire was this? Could this even be considered part of the ninja world anymore?

"Your Majesty..." Bai Kakashi turned toward Menma, his expression blank. "What ninja clan is he from? Uchiha? Senju? Uzumaki?"

After all, to unify the entire ninja world, one must possess extraordinary power. Even the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, and his legendary rival, Uchiha Madara, had never achieved such a feat. Whoever could accomplish this had to have bloodline abilities that rivaled, if not surpassed, those two titans.

But Menma shook his head.

"No," he replied, his face solemn with reverence. "His Majesty is not a descendant of any god. Nor is he from any ninja clan."

"Tsk!"

Momochi Zabuza let out a low chuckle.

"Seriously? Do you expect us to believe that?"

First, they claimed their emperor even conquered the Pure Land, and now they were saying he had no special lineage? How could someone without an elite bloodline surpass even Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara?

"This..." Bai Kakashi hesitated, his skepticism apparent. "That doesn't seem likely..."

He wasn't trying to dismiss Menma's words outright. But based on his own experience as a ninja, talent alone had limits.

Both he and Zabuza had experienced firsthand the ceiling of an ordinary ninja's growth. Even the most talented shinobi, without a powerful bloodline, could only reach the level of the Five Kage.

Throughout history, only two individuals had ever clearly surpassed the Kage-level: the founders of Konoha—Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara.

Both men hailed from ancient ninja clans, passed down for generations.

"Heh..."

Menma chuckled but didn't seem bothered by their doubts.

"Just listen," he said. "Once I've finished, you'll understand."

Then, Menma began recounting the tale of another ninja world—one that was unknown to them.

The Birth of a Legend

In that world, in the 24th year of the Konoha Calendar, a child named Nagase was born.

His parents died in war not long after his birth, leaving him an orphan.

From the moment he entered this world, Nagase's life was filled with hardship. He grew up in an orphanage, relying on Konoha's pension system for survival.

But fate had different plans for him.

By the time he was six, his talent for refining chakra became apparent. Because of this, he earned the right to enroll in the Ninja Academy.

It didn't take long for his abilities to shine.

A Genius Beyond Comparison

Nagase had an unparalleled ability to learn ninjutsu.

Anything he set his mind to, he mastered almost instantly.

His chakra control was precise—flawless. His physical abilities surpassed even the best prodigies of his generation.

It didn't matter if his opponents were from prominent ninja clans or if they were civilian prodigies like Namikaze Minato. In every aspect, Nagase left them in the dust.

Because of his overwhelming talent, a fierce battle erupted in the Hokage's office over his future.

"Danzo, I am the Hokage!"

"Hiruzen, you will regret this!"

In the end, Sarutobi Hiruzen's authority as Hokage prevailed.

Under his orders, Nagase became Tsunade's apprentice after graduation.

And from that moment on, his strength skyrocketed.

A Kage at Twelve

By the time he was twelve, in the 36th year of the Konoha Calendar, Nagase had already reached Kage-level strength.

His mastery over the Five Elements Release, taijutsu, genjutsu, and kenjutsu was unparalleled. There were no weak points in his combat style.

On the battlefields of the Second Great Ninja War, he carved his name into legend.

He was like a sharp blade, cutting down every enemy that dared to challenge Konoha.

But power breeds fear.

And Sarutobi Hiruzen, once his mentor and supporter, soon came to view him as a threat.

"Tsk!"

Momochi Zabuza scoffed.

"Typical Konoha," he muttered.

This was a familiar story.

Konoha, the so-called 'cradle of geniuses,' had produced some of the most powerful shinobi in history. But it was also their graveyard.

Time and time again, Konoha's strongest ninja didn't fall in battle against foreign enemies. They were cut down by their own village.

"With no special bloodline, he reached Kage-level at twelve?" Bai Kakashi mused. "That's incredible. But…"

His voice trailed off.

Even the most talented ninja had their limits.

His own sensei, Namikaze Minato, was considered one of the greatest prodigies Konoha had ever seen.

And yet, even he could never reach the level of Senju Hashirama or Uchiha Madara.

"Exactly," Menma agreed.

He continued, "At that point, His Majesty realized that ordinary talent alone was not enough. Without the bloodline of the descendants of the Six God-Tier, surpassing Kage-level was nearly impossible."

"Wait!"

Sasuke interrupted.

"The Six God-Tier? Who are they? And what do you mean by 'descendants of gods'?"

Menma glanced at Sasuke and then at Naruto before answering.

"The term 'descendants of gods' refers to those whose bloodline originates from the ancestor of chakra—Ōtsutsuki Kaguya."

He continued, "Specifically, these include the Senju, Uchiha, Uzumaki, Hyuga, Kaguya, and the descendants of Ōtsutsuki Hamura, who once lived on the moon."

At these words, the entire group fell into stunned silence.

The Truth of Legends

"Chakra ancestor…" Bai Kakashi murmured.

His mind raced as he tried to recall ancient legends.

"You're talking about the Moon Goddess, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya?"

Menma nodded.

Bai Kakashi took a deep breath.

This was… ridiculous.

If what Menma said was true, then the myths weren't myths at all. They were history.

And then there was Ōtsutsuki Hamura…

Who is that?

And the moon…

Are there really people living there?

"The Kaguya Clan…"

Zabuza narrowed his eyes.

"Are you saying that the Yoruichi Clan from Kirigakure are also descendants of the gods?"

Menma nodded again.

Zabuza gritted his teeth.

Those madmen had wiped themselves out through their lust for battle. And yet, they were supposedly divine descendants?

This was absurd.

The Birth of an Emperor

Bai Kakashi exhaled slowly.

"Alright," he said, still trying to process everything. "Even if we accept that your emperor had no special bloodline, what did he do after realizing the limits of ordinary human talent?"

Menma's expression turned solemn.

"This," he said, "is where the real conflict between His Majesty and the Third Hokage began."

"After reaching his peak, His Majesty turned his attention to science."

Menma's voice grew firm.

"At that time, he devoted himself entirely to scientific research. He sought ways to surpass human limits through knowledge and experimentation."

"And in the eyes of the Third Hokage… this was heresy."
