Chapter 3: Chapter 3
Chapter 3:
Alexander: Then I choose to go to muggle school to study!
As soon as the words left my mouth, Mom couldn't hold back her laughter—it echoed through the room. Dad, on the other hand, just stared at me with this mix of disappointment and disbelief, his face frozen in an awkward frown. After a heavy sigh, he reluctantly reached into his cloak and handed Mom a pouch full of Galleons, as if settling a bet they both knew he'd lose.
Alexander: Wait… you guys seriously made a bet on me?! Are you kidding right now?!
Gregory: Language!!!
I shot them a look full of disbelief, but when Dad said, "Language," I had to fight back a laugh—how could I not think of that famous Captain America meme? Still, I managed to apologize to Dad with a straight face. That's when Mom finally stopped laughing and began to speak.
Cassilda: Alright, alright! Both of you, calm down! Now Alex, since you've chosen to study in the muggle world, keep in mind that their core education really begins around age 13 and goes until 18. And from what I've researched, there's even more schooling after that—they call it college! So, we figured if you're serious about finishing muggle school before starting at Hogwarts at 11, it might be best for you to skip a few grades and jump straight into middle school.
Gregory: So, that means you'll have five years to finish muggle school! We actually reached out to a prestigious school in England called Harrow School. They said that even if we offered extra donations or money, you'd still have to pass an entrance exam to get in. You'll have three chances to take the test—the first one is in two months. If you don't pass, the second chance is next year, and the third is the year after that. But here's the deal!! If you don't pass any of the three tests, then you'll have to give up on muggle school and start learning wand-making from Grandpa instead!!
Cassilda: But here's the exciting part!! They also told us that if you pass the entrance exam, they'll let you take grade-level exams every month. If you pass those, you can move up grades much faster. That means there's even a chance you could finish college before you head off to Hogwarts!! In the end, it all comes down to you—how hard you work and how well you do in muggle school.
Alexander: Oh, don't worry, Mom and Dad!! I've got this!! I'm going to pass that entrance exam on my first try, and I'll finish college before I even set foot in Hogwarts! You might not realize it yet, but your son's actually pretty smart!
Both of them burst out laughing at my cheeky comment. Then they called for Ice, our house-elf. Within a second, she appeared in front of us with a soft pop—she'd used Apparition. Like most house-elves in the wizarding world, she wasn't exactly easy on the eyes, but she wore a spotless maid uniform, tidy and well-kept. In her hands, she held a pamphlet and an envelope from Harrow School, which she promptly handed to me. I opened the pamphlet first—it was filled with details about the school's history, when it was founded, the academic programs, and the wide range of extracurricular activities they offered. Then I opened the envelope. Inside were the entrance exam dates, the location where it would be held, and a detailed list of subjects and topics that would be covered in the test.
Gregory: And all the books you'll need to prepare for the exam have already been placed in our family library. You can go check them out right after you finish your breakfast! Okay?!
Alexander: Okay!!
Then I turn my face towards Ice.
Alexander: Ice! Come on, sit next to me and have breakfast with me!
As soon as I say that, I notice her eyes welling up with tears—just a little—but it's clear my words touched her deeply.
Ice: Thank you!!! Young Master!! Ice is really happy to eat breakfast with young master!!!
She gently sits down beside me, still smiling through her tears. At that very moment, Mom and Dad rise from their chairs.
Cassilda: We have to head out and take care of some things, so you two enjoy your breakfast!
After they leave the room, I quietly eat my breakfast with Ice by my side. A calm silence settles between us. A few minutes later, once I finish eating, I turn to her and tell her she's free to do whatever she likes. She gives me a polite "Good day, Young Master," and with a soft pop, she Apparates away. I rise from my chair and start walking toward the library. As I make my way down the familiar hallway, my mind drifts, thoughts swirling about everything that's happened over the past three years.
Flashback......
Alexander: " I choose Moria Wand!! "
Suddenly, golden light bursts forth from the system, so brilliant I have to squint against it. When the glow finally fades, I find a wand in my hand. It's the Moria Wand, gleaming white with an elegant, smooth finish. Embedded along its length are ten small, glowing crystals, each pulsing faintly with magic. I stare at it in awe for a few moments, taking in its beauty and power. Then, with a thought, I store it safely away in my storage, feeling a quiet excitement settle in my chest.
Alexander: " Okay System! Show me the description of Moria Wand. "
[ Moria Wand:
The Moria Wand is crafted from the wood of the legendary Moria Tree, also known as Athena's Olive Tree in Greek mythology. This sacred tree is said to have incredible healing properties, with its leaves believed to strengthen the body and its crowns once awarded to champions of ancient games. Because of its origin, the wand naturally enhances the power of any attack spell cast through it. Over time, it also works to refine and perfect the wielder's body, aligning it with the peak physical ideals found in Greek myths. The wand is embedded with ten white crystals—these are not just decorative, but are the potential cores of the wand. Currently, they are inactive. To awaken them, the user must infuse each crystal with the blood of a magical beast connected to Greek mythology. Once blood is absorbed, each crystal forms a core and grants the user one skill or ability possessed by that creature. With ten crystals, the wand can hold ten unique magical beast cores and abilities. Additionally, the Moria Wand is highly adaptable—it can change its color, shape, and size to suit the user's needs, making it a truly versatile and powerful artifact. ]
Alexander: " Oh my God!! "
I'm so overwhelmed with excitement, I don't even know what to say. Everything feels surreal—the wand, the possibilities, the future ahead. But after all, I'm still just a baby, and the whirlwind of emotions rushing through me is too much for my tiny body to handle. Sleepiness slowly creeps in, and before I know it, my eyelids grow heavy. With a soft sigh, I finally close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
As the days passed, I began learning more about my life—starting with the fact that my parents and grandparents had bought a private island just for me. They wanted to make sure I could grow up safely and peacefully, far from the chaos of the outside world, and have as normal a childhood as possible. The island is located near England, yet still distant and hidden. It's a beautiful place, untouched and calm, with only one massive castle standing tall at its center—my home.
When I start walking, I open a gate and step into my personal pocket dimension. Inside was everything I had ever dreamed of—my perfect dream house surrounded by open fields of green grass. The entire space was divided into four atmospheres, each reflecting a different season: summer, winter, spring, and autumn. These were further split into day and night, though strangely, during the day there was no sun in the sky—just a soft, natural light that illuminated everything. At night, moonlight covered the land, even though there was no moon to be seen.
I once walked to the farthest edge of the dimension and discovered a glowing white barrier. I couldn't pass through it, no matter how hard I tried. Returning to my house, I realized all the items I had stored through the system were now physically there.
Thanks to my daily system logins, I had gathered an impressive amount of Galleons, all stored in a room that looked like a treasure vault. The moment I opened the door, a brilliant golden light spilled out. Another room was filled wall-to-wall with broomsticks—every model that had ever existed, from the earliest designs to iconic ones like the Firebolt, Nimbus 2000, and Nimbus 2001. I'd even received a few that hadn't appeared in the world yet, all rewards from the system.
In another room stood a single pedestal holding my Moria Wand, resting like a treasure of its own. I also had a few mana stones—magical gems that slowly increased my mana reserves over time.
And so, my days passed quietly. I wasn't old enough yet to do much beyond reading magical books, slipping into my pocket dimension, flying around on broomsticks, and secretly practicing spells with my wand.
.......
At last, I arrive at the grand door of the library, its tall frame and intricate carvings welcoming me into a world of knowledge.
