Chapter 433: Tarot Club : Reconvening.
'I didn't even feel this pain when I was suddenly brought into this world…'
'Was it because I wished for it to happen?'
'...or was it because of Elane?'
'....she did become an important pillar in my actions back then…'
'...Elane's the pillar of my humanity…'
'And now Grindelwald wants to do something to this pillar.'
'Why are there such strange people in this world?'
'Everyone in LOTM worked together when it was about matters concerning strengthening themselves against the outer deities…but why does Grindelwald want to pull Mr. Error down?'
'Is he related to the Lord of the Mysteries pathway group?'
Loki thought about more seemingly meaningless things for a while longer as his hands trembled occasionally with faint traces of sadness.
'Didn't Daphne's mom say I was a good luck charm for her?'
'...where did that go now? What did her mom even think when she said that to her? Was it based on some stupid divination? If so why was she wrong about it in the first place? Did someone else interfere with the divination?'
'....'
'Didn't Daphne basically die because of me? I was the one that warned Laura to come to the location with her Unspeakables…'
'Wouldn't Daphne have lived if I hadn't called them there?'
'....'
Eventually, Loki remained standing on the edge of the hill for about three hours before he teleported away with a new flame lighting up in his heart.
'Voldemort…'
'Damn you.'
Walburga and Sirius returned to the house at seven in the evening and they all had a silent dinner since Sirius and Walburga had learnt accidentally from Misses and Mister Greengrass that Daphne was actually quite close to Loki.
Walburga was quite a bit surprised by this, but she knew Loki would rather not talk about it unnecessarily, so she didn't bring it up over dinner when it was clear that he was already a little depressed.
Eventually, when Sirius was about to try and ask Loki about it and speak a few words for comfort, Walburga simply flicked her wand and caused his mouth to stitch itself shut.
The small incident brought a silly smile to Loki who just nodded and left the table since he'd finished eating.
'What can I do to hurt him the most?'
'I could destroy the rest of his Horcruxes…'
'But is there really nothing else I can do to him?'
'I could cut off all his connections too…'
'How would I do that? Just kill all the people associated with the dark side?'
'No, 'Adam' would've already done that if that was possible…at least I think someone else would've if not 'Him' like Nicolas and Prenelle.'
'They probably don't want to do it firstly because it would be too troublesome, but even if that were the case they aren't doing it because of the Goddess of Fortune since Nicholas clearly told me she likes maintaining balance.'
'It is clear that given how she treats and uses the Greengrass family she is working hard towards maintaining balance between the two sides for some reason.'
'I could go against her, but I'm not strong enough yet to take on a Goddess that has possibly lived through multiple millennia.'
'So are there any other ways to hurt him?'
'...?'
'I don't really know much about Voldemort do I…'
'Apart from his obsession with the items closest to founders that he probably wanted to uncover because he wanted to resurrect them or corrupt them further, there isn't a lot of information about him floating around.'
'Should I infiltrate his ranks?'
'I could split off a worm of time and parasitise a mystical item that I can ask Snape to plant on some death eater around Voldemort…'
'But that would probably be a little risky if he notices…'
'Not because he could hurt me, but because he might take precautions that prevent information from leaking any further…'
'Hmmm…'
*Knock* *Knock*
The door opened slowly before Walburga paused as she looked at the printer in the room that was printing something before looking at Loki.
Loki grew slightly embarrassed for running a bootleg printing farm in the Manor and quickly stood up with a slight blush.
"Yes, grandma? You need my help with something?"
Walburga nodded, "I need your help with a few things related to the house's properties."
"Oh?" Loki was surprised, clearly, Walburga didn't mean normal 'properties' since she was more than capable enough to take those from anyone she wished all by herself, so Loki asked softly, "You need my help or Mr. Error's?"
"Your help should suffice, it isn't something urgent or something that I even have hopes of solving, but I would like to know if you can gain possession of the Death Card of Blasphemy from 'Him'."
"Ah…" Loki thought about it for a few seconds before he nodded as a simple plan formed in his head. "I can try, but do you have any guesses about where it could be?"
Loki didn't want to reveal that he knew that Voldemort had used the card before since it wasn't something that was explicitly revealed to him or Harry when he was resurrected.
"The Black Family has methods to locate them in case they have left the hands of the Black Family member. And all those spells have failed. So-"
"The card is still with Bellatrix Lestrange?"
Walburga nodded.
"Alright. I understand. I'll figure something about it." Loki said with confidence that surprised Walburga.
"Don't do anything rash or reckless like Sirius.", Walburga warned. "Remember that you are much more important than a silly card floating around somewhere."
Loki nodded and after speaking to Walburga for a while longer where she discussed what he was printing, which Loki told her directly was an order from the Error God that he had to print 'His' gospels which got her off his back-
-except before she left with a short good night, she grumbled about how Mr. Error was being rude and was using properties of the Black Family businesses without paying the right price.
She took a book though, as payment of course.
But it was a price Loki was willing to pay since talking to her had improved his mood.
'She came to talk to me just to distract me didn't she?' Loki smiled fondly.
Finally, the clock struck midnight and Loki, who had already entered the Sefirah Castle about fifteen minutes before, waved his hands and connected to his Tarot Club members' crimson stars to summon them.
Hermione was in a much better mood this time and she stood up immediately and curtsied-
"Greetings to you Mr. Error."
She then nodded towards all the other members, who each nodded softly in return, and then sat back down silently.
Mr. World was the first to speak up.
"I have printed copies of the Lord's Gospel!! If you want to distribute them to your followers you can ask me for any amount of copies!"
There was a certain madness and fanaticism to Mr. World when he said this since Loki was imagining having a sea of anchors that he didn't have to share with anyone else in the world.
However, everyone else mistook this rashness as Mr. World coercing everyone else and ordering them to buy a bible or he'd do something to them.
Hermione being the weakest, shivered involuntarily and looked at Mr. Error for help, but trying to maintain a cold and aloof personality, Loki didn't respond to her plea. Not that he was paying enough attention to understand it in the first place.
