HP X LOTM : Please Call Me Mr. Error.

Chapter 455: Trick.

Luna concentrated on the ring in front of her while working on it with all her focus.

Blood began to leak out of her mouth, forming a thin stream as her pale eyes trembled in waves of small tremors as if she was being continuously bombarded by an internal earthquake ravaging her body.

Luna's eyes constantly flicked between the ring and Loki himself.

Loki's eyes were closed and his entire body was mutating, his skin started to solidify like marble and his eyes started to change into clock dials-

-but Luna flicked her fingers almost as soon as each change happened, making them vanish for a second before they started to reappear by overpowering her abilities.

Loki's mind was fried.

Pain was a personal concept to him in this moment.

He had so much of it in this moment that it felt more like his world had been absolved of everything other than pain.

Moving from point A to point B? That was just measured in how much pain it took to get there. Thinking one thought over another? That couldn't be measured. Not because it was too fast or painless, but because he couldn't think of anything except the pain he was facing.

It felt like his entire mind, conscious and unconscious, had been consumed by pain.

Like every single aspect about him had been dissolved into it.

Loki's mind raged to break free but he couldn't think of anything other than pain.

Meanwhile, a single soul gained clarity inside a new world.

The new world was completely white and had nothing in it.

It felt like it was something out of the world and its laws. It was as if this new place was created to foster a canvas of paints that would dictate how it progressed.

The young piece of soul started scanning around for any changes in this ever-white place with a little bit of confusion before the silence in its ears was interrupted by a shrill ringing *screeeaaaaaccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhh* that pricked its mind.

The boy followed the screams to a stray corner where another young boy was kneeling on the floor, vomiting out a continuous fountain of blood as he tried to withstand whatever he was facing alone.

A smile formed on the boy's face as he picked up the short white pointy bone wand that was on the floor and spoke in a humorous tone.

"You didn't think I'd turn the tables like this, did you? Loki?"

Even though Loki didn't stop screaming, and even though it was unclear if Loki was able to hear the young boy speaking to him, the boy continued.

"Ha~! You're squirming like a worm because of such little pain. Foolish. How stupid! To think that such a stupid fool was my captor. It truly shows just how lucky you had become in the first place."

"You're nothing but a measly worm that thinks it owns the universe!"

"But this…even this is not enough pain for you to face redemption, and so-"

"-Crucio!!!"

A thick beam of green light shot out of the wand that the boy carried and struck Loki's back.

Almost instantly, Loki's body started spasming as all the pores on his body opened up to leak blood. Everything on his body turned a deep shade of red while the pool of blood he was in started to expand and become larger, painting the canvas of the world in red.

The boy looked at his own reflection that appeared in the boy's blood and smiled devilishly.

His hands pushed the wand he was holding lower as the beam that tortured Loki slowly became more and more concentrated, taking on a hue of near black because of how bright it was as Loki's body spasmed like it was on the electric chair.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the boy stopped.

"Hmm...did he die already?" The boy asked as he looked at Loki whose body had long stopped spasming and now played dead.

"Tsk. How weak and pathetic."

The boy looked at his blood-stained shoes and quietly walked away, moving in the endless expanse of whiteness with purpose, as if it were a familiar place, trying to leave.

"Hmmm…if I'm not wrong…it should be somewhere around here…the connection the girl made was hidden…but not hidden well enough. Not enough from a great wizard like me."

The boy waved the wand he'd picked up around like he was conducting an orchestra.

Occasionally a pulse of his spirituality would escape out of the wand, ringing around the white space and highlighting objects around him that were invisible to anyone else like echolocation.

It was only visible to him, and he made full use of it since the moment he spotted a strange object at the edge of his sensory vision, he smiled.

"That's it…"

"Now I just take over her body…"

"Foolish student…thinking you can take over my soul so easily…trying to control me…the master of magic, such a pity that she'll likely die though…someone with her capabilities would've been useful. Perhaps I can make use of her Beyonder Characteristics once I leave Hogwarts."

As the boy walked towards the door-like portal that was visible to him, he spoke out loud.

"I wonder what my other half is up to…"

"I wonder if he recognised that I was being used against him in the fight…I wonder if he was killed and I need to start from scratch…"

"Surely Lucius should be able to provide me with funds…"

The boy finally reached the door and placed his hand on the door knob, but just as he was about to turn it open, he stopped in his place and gave the door knob a second glance.

"Ha! You thought I'd fall for such a simple trick?"

"...but this just goes to show how clever the little girl truly is…"

"Can I save her for later use?"

"I will only be able to use her body for a small amount of time if I do…"

"I could sacrifice another student in the castle if my other half has perished and then escape from the castle…"

"Perhaps I could even take on a teacher if it came down to it."

The boy calmly pointed the wand at the door knob before chanting rapidly-

"Reducto~!"

A sharp thin blue light shot out of the tip of the wand and slithered towards the door knob, landing on it with a hundred per cent precision as it was obliterated in a flash of light.

Except when the light vanished, the door knob seemed perfectly fine.

But the boy wasn't disheartened, he gave a broad smile instead.

"It's good that my skills haven't gotten rusty…"

The boy then wrapped a layer of his spirituality over the door knob and examined the layer of runes that had shown up. The reductor curse had broken much of the defences and left only the physical door knob still intact.

A true testament to the boy's skill in using the curse.

The boy finally *sighed* happily and turned around to look at the endless white space.

He spotted the barely recognisable bloody body of his previous captor in the distance and smiled a little.

With a flick of his wand, he transfigured the entire body into a simple coin that was pulled towards his hand and stuffed into his own pocket.

"That should do it. A nice trophy for a victory that not even my other half could achieve."

The boy finally put his hand on the doorknob and then opened it with a soft *click*.

There was a bright light that engulfed the boy as he stepped through the door, vanishing into what looked like nothingness before another person reappeared in the white space.

Loki pulled out his wand and flicked it lightly.

"Seriously? A hundred more? How many times did the bastard tear his soul apart?"

"...well on the bright side, at least all of him are dumb enough to think that they're killing me and opening the door to freedom instead of an even longer life of eternal slavery…"

"Too bad I couldn't do all of them at once…it's probably hard for Luna to hold on…"

"I should do this quicker…"

And with those words, Loki vanished from his spot.
