Hunted by Characters I Drew!!

Chapter 462: Chapter 463: Do You Think We Are Fools?

"You've come! Damn you!"

Hyakinthos glared at Alexander, his eyes blazing with fury. Yesterday, he had been reprimanded by Apollo, and the cause of his humiliation stood right in front of him.

All because of this man! Hyakinthos had been scolded by Apollo, who even warned him to stay away so as not to get hurt accidentally.

Stay away? How absurd! As the captain of the Apollo Familia, others could retreat if they wanted to, but he 'couldn't'.

With his pride on the line, Hyakinthos stared at Alexander before shifting his gaze to a young fox girl standing not far away.

"Hey, Haruhime! Buff me up. With your help, I might be able to handle this without needing you to step in."

Hyakinthos wasn't a fool. Alexander had just defeated dozens of level 2 adventurers with ease, clearly proving his strength far exceeded level 3. However, if Haruhime enhanced him with her magic, he could temporarily reach level 4 strength—and with that, he believed he could stand a chance.

To Hyakinthos, level 4 was already an extraordinary power. Haruhime, naturally obedient, nodded and cast a reinforcement spell on him.

Swish!

Hyakinthos's body began to glow with a brilliant white light as a powerful energy surged through him, filling him with strength he'd never experienced before.

"Haha! So this is the power of level 4? Amazing! With this power, I can't possibly lose!"

With confidence brimming, Hyakinthos charged at Alexander.

"You're finished!" he roared.

Unimpressed by the display, Alexander tilted his head slightly, smirking.

"So aggressive, aiming straight for my face?" Alexander mused aloud. Despite his calm demeanor, his reflexes were swift. He grabbed Hyakinthos's wrist mid-punch, spun around, and slammed him to the ground in one fluid motion.

Boom!

The impact cracked the solid floor tiles beneath them.

"Alexander, you… Pfft!" Hyakinthos groaned, but before he could finish, Alexander raised his foot and firmly pressed it against his chest.

"That's enough," Alexander said casually.

With a light kick, he sent Hyakinthos skidding across the floor like discarded trash.

In the Hall of the Gods, Apollo's face darkened further. It was bad enough that Hyakinthos lost, but to lose so decisively? Where was Apollo supposed to put his pride now?

"Haha! I've won! I've won! Apollo, get ready to face the consequences!" Hestia cheered, her excitement palpable. Everyone knew Hyakinthos was Apollo's captain, and his defeat marked the end of the battle.

But just as Hestia reveled in her victory, Apollo let out a laugh.

"Hestia, don't celebrate too early. Who said I've lost? The fight isn't over!"

"What nonsense are you spouting now, Apollo? Your captain has been KO'd. What's left to fight for?" Loki chimed in, rolling her eyes in disdain. She had always known Apollo was shameless, but this was a new low.

Apollo smirked, undeterred. "Who said Hyakinthos is the captain of my Familia? My true captain is someone else entirely!"

"What? Someone else?"

The unexpected revelation left everyone stunned. All eyes turned toward the projection.

Sure enough, within the Apollo Familia's residence, a massive figure stepped forward. The sight of this newcomer sent shockwaves through the audience.

"Phryne?! How is this possible? Isn't she the captain of the Ishtar Familia? Why is she there?!"

Gasps of disbelief rippled through the crowd. They turned their attention to Apollo and Ishtar, demanding an explanation.

Under their scrutinizing gaze, Ishtar shrugged nonchalantly. "Phryne betrayed me yesterday. I don't know when she decided to join the Apollo Familia."

The room fell silent. Then, almost in unison, everyone stared at Ishtar like she'd just declared the sky green.

Was she serious? Everyone in Orario knew Phryne was Ishtar's most loyal lackey. To claim otherwise was outright insulting to their intelligence.
