Chapter 105: Earth is Also in Their Sight
“Have you only been here for about two months?”
Like Aierjisi, Ailin was also surprised by Aierjisi’s sense of time. She had just arrived in this world, not even two months had passed. Had she already grown to this level? If she had come a little earlier, her growth would be unimaginable.
“Yeah, I’ve been here for about two months. Sigh, don’t even get me started; when I first arrived, I even lost my memory! I thought I was Aierjisi, only to find out I was just a reincarnator shoved into her body.”
Thinking back to when she first arrived in this world, her scant human memories couldn’t hold a candle to the remnants of memories within this body. Luckily, she managed to piece them back together, or she wouldn’t even be here.
“Lost your memory? Didn’t you grow up from childhood?”
Ailin was puzzled. Was Aierjisi’s situation different from hers? She had been aware of herself even while in the dragon egg; she could still vividly recall her human memories.
“Ah? No, I was thrown into this body by those damned angels from the Heavenly Realm. Isn’t that how it is for you?”
Aierjisi was a bit surprised. Could it be that Ailin hadn’t been dumped into a ready-made body like her?
“I wasn’t like that. I was aware even when I was still in the dragon egg! It was truly torture; I was trapped inside, could do nothing, only sleep, wake up, sleep again—such a routine!”
Thinking back to her time in the dragon egg, Ailin couldn’t help but vent her frustrations. It was a real torment! She had a conscious mind but couldn’t move her body, only absorbing nutrients day by day to grow, until she finally managed to break free.
“You really went through that?”
Aierjisi frowned. That meant she was pretty lucky to have a ready-made body to move around in without being sealed away.
Knock, knock, knock…
Under the guide of a servant, the two of them arrived at Weirafiya’s room.
Creeeak…
Yaser opened a crack in the door to peek at the visitors. Seeing familiar faces, Aierjisi and the recently acquainted Ailin, he relaxed and opened the door completely.
“Hey, Aierjisi! Long time no see. You must be Miss Ailin, right? Nice to meet you, I’m Yaser.”
“I remember you! You’re Miss Weirafiya’s servant. My memory is pretty sharp.”
Even though Yaser had only met Ailin once, Ailin’s excellent memory as a dragon meant she could remember him.
“Oh, it’s you two! What’s up?”
Hearing that Aierjisi and Ailin, her “fellow Earthlings,” had come to pay a visit, Weirafiya instantly sprang up from her bed to look at them.
“Hello! I have a few things I want to discuss with you. I hope you can spare me some time.”
“Sure! Is it okay to talk here, or would you prefer somewhere private?”
Weirafiya had nothing else to do and was glad Ailin had come to her.
“Let’s talk here. However, Mr. Yaser, I’m really sorry, but could you step out for a moment? What we’re about to discuss is a little secret among girls. If possible, I hope you can leave for a bit.”
Ailin smiled as she asked Yaser to step outside, not wanting a local man from another world to hear the upcoming topic.
“A secret among girls, huh? Got it! I’ll step out now and won’t eavesdrop.”
Being from a noble background, Yaser understood that the conversation ahead wasn’t meant for him, so he left temporarily.
“What kind of secret is this? Ailin?”
After Yaser stepped out, Weirafiya looked at Ailin, puzzled about what kind of trick she was playing.
“Actually, it’s not a secret among girls; it’s a topic about Earth. I don’t want Mr. Yaser, a native from another world, to know about it.”
“A topic from Earth? What’s there to discuss? Our hope of getting back seems almost nonexistent. Honestly, I’ve just given up and would rather enjoy my second life here.”
Weirafiya flopped down on her bed, completely uninterested in the upcoming conversation.
“Come on, just listen. It shouldn’t harm us. Since we went through the trouble of sending Yaser away, it must be important information, right?”
Aierjisi sat down on a chair, awaiting Ailin’s next words.
“Well, here it goes. We three need to form an alliance to confront the Adrian People. If we can’t defeat those Adrian people in this world, not only will this world be in danger, but Earth will face risks too.”
【?!】
“Hey! What does this mean? If we lose here, Earth will also be doomed?”
Weirafiya suddenly sat up straight, a bit more animated. She didn’t mind for herself, but her family was still there on Earth!
“What the heck is going on? Explain this properly, Ailin.”
Aierjisi frowned as well. Although she didn’t have much affection for life on Earth, her parents were still living there. She couldn’t let them get dragged into this mess.
“It’s just as it sounds—if we don’t successfully stop them here, Earth will also fall victim to them.”
That was something Ailin had overheard while trapped in their cell.
“Hey, Gilbaris, I heard there’s been another world under observation?”
“Sort of. That planet is incredibly beautiful, with a blue glow—absolutely fascinating! But the life there seems pretty fragile. What’s it called? Technology? That’s what the life forms there call their civilization. Those things are barely worth a toy—they’re no match for us! If we were to strike there, I bet it’d be a piece of cake to conquer them. Sadly, though, we’ve only been observing that world; we still can’t act on it.”
“That’s quite the disappointment! I thought we could claim another world under the dominion of our Chaos Clan, but it looks like we can only watch.”
“Don’t worry! As long as we gather six sacrificial offerings and present them to our God, no matter how distant the world, it will become within our grasp. Making that newly observed world a part of our dominion will be a piece of cake.”
From their conversation, Ailin began to understand. If their plan succeeded, not only this world but even Earth would be in deep trouble.
