Luca and the dragon horse charged forward. They had to somehow create an opportunity for Aurora's arrow to hit its target. Just like the blood monster, the Crimson Witch might go down in one hit. In addition, they had to capture the Crimson Witch instead of killing her.

The Crimson Witch didn't have a change of expression. She simply let go of her blood sword and turned it into a small blood sphere. After that, the blood sphere shot out all that blood like a beam.

The dragon horse let out a breath, clashing with the blood. The fire seemed to have the upper hand at first, but the Crimson Witch suddenly snapped her fingers. In that instant, multiple spheres appeared around her body.

As she waved her hand down, the spheres shot blood. The flame was overwhelmed, forcing Luca to form a barrier to block some of the blood spheres.

Because of this attack, Luca and the dragon horse didn't notice that another blood sphere had sneaked past them. This sphere expanded and turned into a reaper.

"!!!" Luca noticed it too late as she hurriedly turned her body around, trying to use her lance to block the scythe. However, before the two weapons clashed, an arrow pierced through the reaper's abdomen, causing the reaper to return to its original form. The blood then fell as though the Crimson Witch couldn't control it anymore.

Luca lowered her vision and saw Aurora's solemn expression, as though she were asking her to go.

Luca turned back and changed her tactics. She formed multiple tentacles from her back. The tips had a unique shape as they looked like funnels.

She sent forth the tentacles to receive the blood. When the blood entered, it was redirected to the sides, causing them to miss.

Now that the blood couldn't stop them anymore, the dragon horse moved forward.

The Crimson Witch noticed two things that could be used to defeat her current opponents.

That was why she approached Luca and the dragon horse. She lifted her palm as a small blood sphere appeared. This blade first turned into a small stick that spun on top of her palm, but soon expanded into a giant scythe.

She waved the scythe as Luca and the dragon horse also released their own attacks.

However, Luca's spear instantly cracked once they came into contact. After that, the blood seeped into the crack and spread all over the barrier as if it were a mirror. Then, the blood splashed inside the barrier, which ultimately shattered the barrier.

On the other hand, the dragon horse opened its mouth, using its essence to form a giant mouth and bite the scythe.

Sadly, the essence was actually absorbed by the blood. The Crimson Witch might be the only one who could do this. She took advantage of the fact that the blood didn't only carry oxygen but also essence.

In other words, the blood she was using could also become storage. She used it to seal up some essence from the dragon horse's attack, like how Luca and Lucas sealed her blood monster.

Once she broke through, she hit the barrier armor Luca made and shattered it into pieces. Fortunately, the armor managed to withstand the blood long enough for the dragon horse to jump away.

In just a single exchange, Luca and the dragon horse noticed the gap in their power. Still, they had no choice but to continue.

Aurora also released another arrow so as to stop her from chasing her friend.

Still, the Crimson Witch simply put a small sphere in the arrow's path, which was enough to neutralize the powerful arrow. The Crimson Witch realized that with the right amount of essence, the arrow could be crushed since its purpose was to destroy the 'core.'

After that, the Crimson Witch clapped her hands, causing all the blood spheres around her to split into ten droplets. They then turned into needles before flying toward the two girls and the dragon horse.

Luca gritted her teeth as she split her barrier as well, since she could make a smaller barrier thicker.

However, even though the blood needles were small, they actually destroyed the small barriers when they hit them.

Even Luca couldn't make more than a hundred small barriers in one go. She couldn't keep up with the number of blood needles.

The dragon horse used fire breath, but the needles turned out to be concentrated blood, which wasn't easy to burn. Instead, the needles pierced through the fire rather easily.

Noticing that her teammate was in danger, Aurora hurriedly looped around and released her arrow as a distraction.

The Crimson Witch glanced at her and sent forth some blood needles to kill her.

Arrows Rain.

Aurora wasn't scared. She also shot an arrow, which was divided into multiple smaller arrows. Her aim was so perfect that all the blood needles got hit.

After that, Aurora released another arrow at the Crimson Witch.

The Crimson Witch tried to form a sphere, but this time, a barrier appeared out of nowhere, locking the blood sphere. After that, the barrier went down, causing the blood sphere to follow.

For the first time during the battle, the Crimson Witch dodged an attack. She looked quite surprised because the arrow actually hit some hair, which was swaying late due to the air resistance.

As if showing her rage, the Crimson Witch raised her hand. The blood in the area suddenly emerged from underground, as if there were a blood spring underneath them. The blood then spun like a tornado, forming a half-sphere that isolated them from the rest of the world.

"!!!" Luca, Aurora, and the two dragon horses suddenly felt a powerful suppression. Their blood felt like it was trying to escape from their bodies.

'Is this a domain type ability?' Aurora gritted her teeth, remembering that the Crimson Witch could control blood in one's body. She thought it was in the form of the blood monster, but it turned out to be a domain ability.

When she was trying to find a solution, three strikes hit the sphere, each containing an enormous amount of energy. They disrupted the flow of the blood, which caused it to disappear.

"Teacher?!" Aurora sucked a cold breath. She never thought Theo would help her, but the fact that he attacked as soon as the Crimson Witch summoned it meant he realized its danger.

These three strikes were his way of telling the Crimson Witch that even though he was busy, he was still watching out for his students. Whenever there was an ability surpassing the limit they could handle, he would interfere.

The Crimson Witch's expression remained unchanged, but both Luca and Aurora noticed how the energy inside her body got disturbed as if showing her state of mind.

At the same time, this ended up becoming a clue on how to defeat her. And the one who didn't miss that clue was Aurora.

'So that's how it is. I think I know how to defeat her fast… it's going to hurt, though.' Aurora thought.
