The Back-faced Woman's hoarse throat managed to produce only a single syllable before it fell silent.

Just as Yan Junze was about to speak, he suddenly felt something indescribable being abruptly pulled out from his body, passing through his hand that was holding the Back-faced Woman's hand, then it disappeared.

A wave of weakness overcame him, but this feeling was quickly replaced by his body's own strength; his feet steadied after a brief stagger.

The Back-faced Woman let go of Yan Junze's hand; she now looked as if she had just been drunk, unsteady on her feet, and she pointed at Yan Junze, "Go back..."
