I Have No Hate, and I Must Feel

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: The AM Influence

The halls of Midtown High were more alive than ever. Students chattered excitedly, teachers moved through the halls with a renewed energy, and the entire atmosphere felt… different.

And it was all because of one name:

AM Industries.

Or as it was officially known, Allies of Mankind.

Just a week ago, the company had arrived at Midtown High with a bold initiative. Most corporations would be rejected outright, but Allen Micheal had taken a different approach.

He funded the school—outright.

A $100,000 donation had transformed Midtown overnight.

New state-of-the-art computers.

Two AI security officers who appeared fully human, ensuring student safety.

Even the vending machines were upgraded, stocked with healthy, high-quality snacks at lower prices than before.

But Midtown wasn't the only school.

Some of New York's worst schools, places where crime and gang violence were a daily reality, also received AM Industries' intervention.

While most wealthy donors ignored these places, AM had stepped in without hesitation.

State-of-the-art security bots patrolled the halls, stopping fights before they even started. Classrooms that once had broken desks and outdated textbooks were now filled with cutting-edge technology.

It was unprecedented.

A company barely two months old was already making waves that rivaled the likes of Stark Industries.

Peter Parker sat at his desk, twirling a pen between his fingers.

By day, he was just another high school student.

By night… Spider-Man.

And as Spider-Man, he had seen a lot of weird things.

But this?

"This is insane," Peter muttered under his breath, glancing at the brand-new smartboard at the front of the class. It wasn't just a screen—it was responsive, voice-activated, and had an AI assistant built in.

He turned to his best friend, Ned Leeds, who was grinning ear to ear.

"Dude, this is crazy," Peter whispered. "How does a company this new just—do all of this?"

Ned, still smiling, leaned closer. "That's the thing, man. It's not just some charity project. AM Industries is actually hiring people."

Peter blinked. "Wait, what?"

Ned smirked. "Yeah, guess who's got an internship there?"

Peter's jaw nearly hit the floor. "You?!

Ned nodded enthusiastically.

"Allen Micheal himself picked me. I didn't even apply or anything—he just walked up to me, handed me a card with my name on it, and told me I had potential."

Peter frowned. "Wait—he had your name on it? Like, already printed?"

Ned shrugged. "Dude, I don't know how, but this company is next-level. The stuff they're making… it's rivaling Stark Tech."

Peter narrowed his eyes.

Something about this felt… off.

A company this new? With this much influence already?

His fingers hovered over the keyboard.

"Let's see just how long AM Industries has been around."

A quick search pulled up the company's official records.

Peter's eyes widened.

"No way."

AM Industries…

Was barely two months old.
