I Married the Beautiful Female Protagonist In Order To Survive

chapter 1123

62. Plans Settled!

Professor Moriarty is certainly not one to be delicate. Upon understanding the “Chaos” currently facing the Royal Capital of the Great Britain, and our subsequent plans, she didn’t linger. She prepared to return to her Enforcers team that very night.

In Professor Moriarty’s words: Merely dispelling the “Chaos” from myself is far from enough, young man. Next, I must purge the “Chaos” within my own Enforcers, providing a layer of insurance for your actions. As for you, come find me when you’re ready, and I’ll lead you back to the Royal Capital of the Great Britain.

To put it simply: The Professor will assist us in safely returning to the Royal Capital of the Great Britain, but after that, all the subsequent “Chaos” will be our responsibility. After the Professor has offered all the help she can, all remaining challenges will fall squarely on my shoulders.

The Professor left after dark. Having hastily and unexpectedly resolved the first dangerous individual affected by the “Chaos,” I intended to rest well and then begin planning our “invasion of the Royal Capital of the Great Britain.” After all, according to the Professor, even the Moon Fairy Eris and the others have fallen into “Chaos.” The “enemies” from now on will be more dangerous than the last.

However, just as my weariness overwhelmed me, and I was just about to “lie down,” a commotion outside the door announced the arrival of a pairing… a combination that, under normal circumstances, should not be together at this hour, barging into my room.

It was Cefill and Louise, these “cousins.” Despite the late hour, they showed me no courtesy, whispering maidenly secrets to each other. Then, led by the Queen, they looked at me with a beaming smile.

“Did we disturb you?”

Seriously? Do you really need to ask!? At this moment, women will only slow down my rest!

However, there’s no way I’d dare utter those words. After all, one who “disturbed me” is my wife, and the other is the Queen. I can’t afford to offend either of them. Turning a thousand words into a helpless sigh, I looked at the Queen and said, “You two are certainly energetic.”

“Indeed~ After experiencing Moriarty’s incident this morning, how could we possibly fall asleep so quickly~”

Then go to either of your rooms to throw pillows or whatever, just don’t come here.

The Queen, of course, wouldn’t heed my implicit meaning. She’s always been proficient at playing dumb. However, at this point, I was somewhat puzzled. What matter could possibly require the Queen to bring Cefill along to see me?

I wanted to see the situation, but… was it a coincidence? The Queen daringly leaned closer the very moment my expression showed a slight abnormality.

“Thank you for what happened this morning. If you hadn’t helped me a bit, I probably wouldn’t have figured out Moriarty’s weakness during ‘Chaos’ so quickly~”

“…”

I didn’t respond. It wasn’t that I wanted to act cool or play the aloof CEO. It’s just that…

Given the Queen’s personality, for her to say such… universally understood platitudes meant she must be hiding some other purpose behind it all. Hmph, I might have been deceived often in the past when I didn’t understand the Queen well, but this time… the Queen might be underestimating how much I care about her.

Turning her gaze aside, the Queen whispered something to Cefill nearby.

“I think that’s enough, cousin~”

“Almost?”

“Nee~ Euclid, don’t you think, now that Moriarity is awake, we could ‘relax’ a little?”

The Queen’s words caught me off guard, but I quickly recovered.

Aah… Queen, oh Queen, with that little scheme of yours, I could tell what you were thinking just from the way you wiggle your bottom. That roundabout inquiry earlier was probably just a prelude to “getting down to business,” wasn’t it?

As for why she brought Cefir along, I could only assume it was because we live in such a small place. Rather than sneaking around and having Cefir find out, it’s better to just tell her openly.

Though a little awkward, I had no reason to refuse, given that particular…you know…law: don’t initiate, don’t refuse, don’t…well, still be responsible.

With a sliver of anticipation, I waited for Cefir or the Queen to leave. However… I waited and waited, until the Queen was practically “teasing” Cefir, and these two young ladies *still* hadn’t made any move to go!

A very bad feeling washed over me, and I suddenly found myself unable to sit still.

“Ahem… um, have you two…not decided yet?”

“Decided?”

The Queen blinked, her smile concealing the truth so completely that I couldn’t tell what she was really thinking. “Didn’t we already decide?”

But, but neither of you has left! Surely it isn’t…

“Hmm~”

As expected, the Queen had been waiting for that expression on my face. Her smile widened, and she even giggled as she spoke. “We’re doing it together, Euclid~ Cefir, did you see that? His body’s reaction after he looked like an idiot, hehe~”

Compared to the Queen, Cefir was much more honest and shy, but… the fact that she hadn’t run off in shame and anger by now meant that the Queen hadn’t been lying. She must have discussed something with Cefir that I could already more or less guess!

And then, while I was still in a state of bewildered shock, the two of them… pounced.

I confess, I’m guilty, I’m a lech. Because I really *was* anticipating this just a little bit, and I didn’t refuse what was, for Cefir, certainly a very “daring” thing.

In the end, all that was left was the Queen’s muttering to herself in my ear.

“Hmm~ Although I usually like what’s mine to stay mine, this feeling of sharing…isn’t so bad, maybe?”

“Onee-sama! Could you please stop talking! Don’t think I’m very familiar with this kind of thing!”

“Hehe~ Don’t worry, we’ll do it more often, you can’t be ‘unfamiliar’ forever, right?”

But I’m not familiar with it either!

However, my complaints are always useless at times like these. The only thing I need to do right now is probably one thing – that is, in the long night ahead, work hard to ensure that my performance doesn’t displease Cefir and the Queen.

This isn’t just a matter of skill, it’s a matter of strength too!

The next day, the sun was bright, and the warm breeze was pleasant.

When I more or less “came to,” I could hear familiar voices, the girlish chatter of the Queen and Cefir, their cheeks flushed.

“So, Onee-sama thinks it’s necessary to be wary of the other one’s sneak attacks. Cefir, I am closer to you than Miss Nilu, right, right★?”

“I…will consider it.”

How about you two consider *me* for a change? My kidneys are throbbing.
