chapter 1136
75. Where is my good daughter!?
Fira and Order, those two fairies, really didn’t consider the physical state of their master. Under the double whammy of “Chaos” and “Order,” forgetting about “continuing to overcome the effects of Fira’s Soulbinding,” I just blacked out and collapsed.
“Order gone, Chaos spreads,” that warning from the Order Fairy in the beginning, I’d now resolved, so… even though I collapsed, I didn’t feel any particular anxiety.
When I awoke, two days had passed. The first person I saw wasn’t Keefe, but… a face that was gradually becoming familiar to me.
“‘King,’ are you still affected by ‘Chaos’?”
It was Fira.
And she had already changed out of the tattered clothes I saw her in that night, clothes torn from her growing body, and was now wearing a new outfit that suited her current youthful figure… a maid’s uniform.
As to why it was a maid’s uniform again, I was too lazy to ask. After all, with my mind clear, I could guess why this fairy was so obsessed with this black and white attire, even without looking at the script.
“Of course not. Though I could feel myself having some dreams during this time, but…”
I glanced at Fira. “Rest assured, the ‘Chaos’ that immediately hit me after you Soulbound, I’ve suppressed it all. You don’t need to run away. Don’t worry, Fira.”
The Soulbinding of the Chaos Fairy, Sapphira, wasn’t romantic in the slightest. What followed were tremendous negative emotions for me—I wanted to get rid of “Chaos,” to eradicate it, to make Fira disappear completely.
Fortunately, my previous experiences allowed me to maintain my composure even when faced with such “Chaos.” During the time I was lying stiffly here, these thoughts were tightly suppressed in the depths of my heart. Although they occasionally surfaced, “Chaos” had been mostly quelled by me.
“…”
A hint of anticipation flashed in Fira’s eyes. Then, the fairy took a step back, her black hair fluttering around her temples, her dress swaying gently.
“Then, ‘King,’ allow me to acknowledge once more: The Chaos Fairy Sapphira is now your servant.”
She paused, then continued, “Whether as the Chaos Fairy, or as Fira, it is the same—Lady Niru has agreed.”
Niru… also knows about Fira? Hmm, well, Keefe should go back and comfort Niru, and keep her from dwelling on why the sent fairy turned out to be the embodiment of “Chaos.” Since Niru has already accepted Fira’s status, there’s naturally nothing for me to refuse.
“You’ve already Soulbound, you think I’d refuse?”
I accepted Fira’s request openly, and looked at the script once more. New content had appeared within it.
【Chaos Sprite Philo Becomes Euclid’s Familiar.】
Without a doubt, I’d halted the continued spread of “Chaos” at the cost of becoming the master of a Chaos Sprite myself. Perhaps it was the balancing act of Order, or perhaps Philo no longer sought the seeds of “Chaos,” but the script showed no further signs of corruption.
The inferno that once threatened to burn the entire script to ashes had finally stalled at the very edge, now dormant. The “Collapse” of this era would finally come to a stop, wouldn’t it?
I let out a long breath, then… watched as Philo approached, step by step. The Order Sprite kept warning me: This Philo wasn’t as docile as she seemed. Rather, having absorbed too much “Chaos,” her intentions were now wickedly cunning.
Yet, seeing Philo’s face, still bearing traces of the little girl she once was, I couldn’t help but soften.
“What is it?”
“Master.”
I admit my breath hitched. The sense of transgression was too strong.
But the problem was: Philo’s next words startled me, and my little brother, quite a bit.
“After the binding, will you… *bleep bleep bleep* me?”
“Huh!?”
Thank goodness for the script’s censorship, sparing me from hearing such dangerous pronouncements from Philo’s, at least ostensibly, innocent little girl’s mouth.
“Like… what you do with Louise, one of your other familiars.”
Louise! What exactly did you teach…?
Uh, looks like Philo figured things out on her own this time.
I quickly refused, “Louise is really something else. Look… it’s not like I’m attracted to Louise *because* she’s a familiar… uh, right?”
Thinking it over, that was the only cover story I could come up with. After all, even if Philo had “grown up,” it had only happened recently. I couldn’t forget that before, when we went to Northern Ireland, Philo was a black-haired loli at the “daughter” level in my eyes.
Even if some “blossoming” had occurred, to then… to then just “pluck” her felt way too depraved!?
Philo didn’t care, though, and climbed onto my bed in a few quick movements.
Was this also one of the powers of “Chaos?” Just one look into her eyes, partially obscured by her dark hair, made you feel like you were falling into them. And then…
On one of her eyes, the “proof” of her existence as a Sprite faintly flashed, followed by words that seemed unreasonable, yet made me want to believe them.
“Can I receive… the same treatment as the other familiars?”
Somehow, even though this was an answer I had already confirmed from the very beginning, actually saying it now made me hesitate, wondering whether I should agree to Philo’s request.
Or rather… it should be that I could only watch as Philo slowly approached me, even almost squeezing into my arms.
Beautiful eyes, capable of twisting one’s thoughts.
“I… don’t want you to refuse. Because, you’re the first… the first master I’ve ever met…”
I…
My actions were immediately stopped by the Order Sprite, appearing suddenly by my side!
“Hey, Saffilose! You dare to ‘corrupt’ even ‘Master’s’ thoughts!?”
“Tch…”
It was no illusion, not at all. I clearly saw it: my “daughter” clicked her tongue in obvious displeasure, then stepped away from me.
Right on its heels came the scolding voice of the Order Fairy: “Stop playing innocent, you little hussy. You’re practically bursting with joy inside, aren’t you?!”
【Philo is actually very happy!】
The script bubble appeared, leaving me a bit disoriented as I looked at Philo.
I believe that even if my “good daughter” is now “in the know,” she’s still the sweet cotton-padded jacket I hold dear, right, Philo?
“…”
Philo, silent, shook her head at me.
And then…
“Ugh… pff… can’t hold it in.”
Hey.
I might as well just call you Saphilo now.
My obedient, sensible, and quiet “daughter” was gone.
The main story ends here. Now, on to the .5 and extras, same as always.
