I Reincarnated in Lorien Legacies(I am number four.)

Chapter 54: Chapter 46

The dim glow of a single overhead light cast long shadows across the room. The air was thick with unspoken tension. Alexander, Six, Katrina, and Hilde sat across from Crayton, their postures firm yet unreadable. In the corner, Dante leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his gaze flicking between the windows and the door—always watching, always ready.

Crayton's eyes narrowed as he finally spoke, his voice cautious. "How did you find me?"

Lexa exhaled, a slight shake of her head. "If it were just me and Zophie, finding you and Ella would've been nearly impossible." Her gaze shifted to Alexander, something unreadable flickering behind her eyes. "But we found a very powerful ally."

Crayton followed her gaze, studying the man across from him. There was something… familiar. A memory lingering just out of reach.

Lexa leaned forward. "This is Alexander Stark, owner of Stark Industries." She let the name settle in the air for a beat before continuing. "He's human, but with Loric blood flowing through his veins. And he has multiple Legacies."

Crayton's breath hitched slightly, the weight of those words sinking in. A human—with multiple Legacies? That was unheard of.

Lexa pressed on, her tone even but firm. "He helped Number One, Two, Three, Six, and Nine. And he's personally responsible for the destruction of three Mogadorian bases."

Silence. Crayton's expression shifted, a mixture of disbelief and shock.

The air in the dimly lit room thickened with tension as Hilde leaned forward, her voice sharp with urgency. "Where is Ella?"

Crayton hesitated, his eyes shifting between them. His voice was cautious when he finally spoke. "How do you know about her?"

Hilde didn't flinch. "Alexander has the ability to look into the past. He saw everything—Ella, Ryalan, and Erina." She paused before adding, "I also knew Erina. I trained her at the Defense Academy. She chose me to be Ella's godmother."

Crayton's eyebrows lifted slightly. A distant memory stirred—Erina talking to Ryalan about choosing a godparent—but in the chaos of Lorien's fall, that conversation had been buried beneath survival and loss.

Hilde's tone a

softened. "Now, tell me about Ella."

Crayton sighed, running a hand down his face. "She's kind. She takes after her mother more than her father."

Katrina, her gaze sweeping the room, asked the question on everyone's mind. "Where is she?"

Crayton's answer was calm but firm. "I sent her to a nearby orphanage to get a feel for the place."

Confusion flickered across Six, Katrina, Dante, Hilde, and Lexa's faces. But Alexander, his expression unreadable, already understood. Before anyone could question further, Crayton continued.

"I found a Garde and Cepan at Saint Theresa Convent—Convento de Santa Teresa. I tried to warn the Cepan that the Mogadorians might be closing in on them." He exhaled sharply. "She ignored me. Completely brushed me off."

That revelation sent a ripple of disbelief through the group. Another Garde and Cepan, right under their noses. But a Cepan who refused to listen?

Hilde wasted no time. She pulled out a sleek, disk-like device, its metallic surface pulsing faintly with an inner glow. As she activated it, a soft hum reverberated through the room, the air shimmering with energy.

Then, the device lit mul mesmerizing display of semi-circles in shifting blue light—an intricate map of connected Loric signals. The upper left quadrant pulsed first, spiraling inward, while the bottom right mirrored it, spiraling in the opposite direction.

Within seconds, a holographic projection materialized, displaying dozens of Cepans' faces—some old, some young, some long gone. Hilde's voice was measured but urgent. "Which one is the woman with the Garde?"

Crayton studied the images for a moment before pointing to an auburn-haired woman with young sharp features. "Her. But she looks younger here. She's much older now."

A muscle in Hilde's jaw tightened. "What else do you know?"

Crayton leaned back slightly, his voice edged with frustration. "She has a strained relationship with her Garde. From what I saw, she's completely abandoned training her."

Hilde let out a slow breath, her fingers tightening around the device. "That's Number Seven's Cepan—Adel." She hesitated for a moment before adding, "She was well-trained, but some of the older Cepans worried about her mental state. She was weak-willed, unsure of herself." Her voice dipped lower. "Then the invasion happened. She was the only one left."

Silence hung heavy in the room.

Alexander moved without a word, retrieving his custom-built Stark-tech phone—a sleek, glass-like plane encased in a smooth black frame. With a few swift taps on the translucent keyboard, he hacked into the Convent's database, his eyes scanning the flood of information pouring in.

A moment later, a new holographic display shimmered into existence.

Adelina—her auburn hair now streaked with gray, her once youthful face lined with deep-set wrinkles, eyes dulled by time and disillusionment.

Beside her, Marina—tall and lean, brown-haired, with a quiet but thoughtful intensity in her solemn gaze.

Alexander's voice was cold, matter-of-fact. "The Cepan now goes by Adelina. The Garde's name is Marina." His eyes flicked over the data as he continued. "She's lost faith in Lorien's revival. Instead of protecting her Garde, she's abandoned her duty. She's buried herself in the convent, deluded herself into believing in peace and comfort."

The weight of the revelation settled over them like a suffocating fog.

Dante scoffed, arms crossing over his chest. "She ignored Crayton's warning. Completely let go of her responsibilities." His lips curled in distaste. "We need to find them. And knock some sense back into that Cepan."

No one disagreed.
