I, The Aeon of Trailblaze, Trailblazing the Multiverse

Chapter 34: Stelle: We All Have the Power to Destroy Planets

Mine frowned.

Every word these three said made sense on its own, but strung together, they were completely incomprehensible.

They were the meteor? Descended from above?

Didn't that mean they were from the heavens? And wasn't the heavens supposed to be the domain of the gods?

The rest of Night Raid was equally perplexed.

"So you're from the heavens? Does that mean you're gods?" Leone blinked, scratching her head with a look of disbelief.

"We did come from the heavens, but we're not gods," March 7th explained as she raised the camera hanging from her waist and approached the five members of Night Raid.

"Your civilization hasn't advanced to the point where you can observe the stars, so you probably don't even have a concept of worlds beyond your own. Let me show you a picture I took of your planet."

"Maybe you'll be the first people on this planet to see what your home world actually looks like!"

"Oh, by the way, when I say 'planet,' I mean the world you live on, under your feet."

Although the five members of Night Raid were wary of March 7th approaching, her casual and defenseless demeanor eased their tension. Their eyes instinctively turned toward the device in her hands.

"This... this three-colored ball?"

"You're saying this ball is our world?"

"This part is the ocean? And this part is land? Are you saying we live on a ball? That's unbelievable."

"If our world is a ball, wouldn't people on the bottom fall off?"

The five of them crowded together, staring at the photograph with wide-eyed curiosity.

March 7th explained patiently, "Because of gravity, no one falls off the planet. No matter where you are, the ground will always feel flat beneath your feet."

"We, the Nameless, are passengers on the Astral Express. We travel between planets to explore and have adventures."

"So you're saying you're people from some kind of... otherworld?" Leone's eyes darted over the three of them, scanning their attire.

Their clothes were unlike anything from the Empire, the northern tribes, or anywhere else she could think of. Even the most decadent nobles couldn't have designed such strange materials and styles.

Welt nodded. "You could put it that way."

Mine's eyes lit up with interest. "If you can really travel freely between different worlds, does that mean you have incredibly powerful abilities?"

If they truly had the ability to move between worlds, their strength must be beyond imagination—far surpassing Teigu users, perhaps to an almost incomprehensible degree.

Hearing Mine's question, the entire Night Raid team perked up, their curiosity and tension heightened.

Stelle, sensing the attention, puffed out her chest and proudly slapped it, lifting her head high.

"Of course! I'm the Galactic Batter, after all. My power is off the charts. I've even got a Stellaron inside me that can destroy a planet!"

Though she didn't yet know how to use the Stellaron's power, it didn't stop her from bragging.

March 7th crossed her arms confidently. "And I'm super strong too! I can summon Six-Phased Ice."

"You know Six-Phased Ice, right? It's the hardest and coldest ice in the universe."

"And then there's Uncle Yang—he can control gravity and even create black holes with his bare hands."

"You know what black holes are, right? They can easily destroy a planet like the one you're standing on."

Although she wasn't entirely sure how strong Welt was, the idea of creating black holes was enough to let anyone's imagination run wild.

Welt, watching the two girls brag, didn't bother to refute them.

Even though his black holes were simulated and not capable of outright destroying a planet, collapsing a continental plate was certainly within his power if he went all out.

After all, whether friend or foe, understanding each other's capabilities was key to proper communication and avoiding misunderstandings.

Hiss—

Except for the dazed Akame, the other four took a sharp breath.

Destroying a planet, just like that? Wasn't that a bit too exaggerated?

Even the Empire's cold-blooded and ruthless General Esdeath, hailed as the strongest in the Empire, was at most capable of annihilating a city or taking on an army of a million single-handedly.

Forget about destroying a planet; she couldn't even wipe out a single province in the Empire.

The four exchanged glances, and then Leone grabbed Akame, putting on a big, toothy grin.

"Um, you all just wait here for a moment, okay? We need to have a quick discussion."

March 7th and Stelle watched as the five hurriedly stepped a little further away, huddling together and whispering. The two exchanged puzzled looks.

March 7th crossed her arms and pouted. "What's up with that? Suddenly whispering secrets?"

Stelle folded her arms as well. "Exactly. They're not scheming against us, are they?"

Welt shook his head and calmly said, "That's unlikely. They don't have any hostile intent. They're probably debating whether to treat us as guests and take us to their base."

As a composed and experienced older man, Welt's sharp instincts and wisdom allowed him to deduce the situation with ease.

"You think what they said is true?"

"How would I know? But that gray-haired girl and that older guy definitely give off a terrifying vibe."

"Should we bring them back to the base?"

"Isn't that risky? Boss would chew us out if they turned out to be from the Empire."

"But what if they're telling the truth? And if they really do have world-destroying power?"

"If it's true, and they side with the Empire or help them, that would be catastrophic."

"On the other hand, if they're genuine, we could borrow their strength."

"With world-destroying power, Esdeath would be nothing to them, right?"

"Taking them back is a bit risky, but if they're fakes and they're with the Empire, once they're at our base, they'll be at our mercy anyway."

"That makes sense."

After finishing their discussion, the Night Raid group returned, each wearing a bright and welcoming smile—except for Akame, who remained expressionless.

Leone laughed heartily. "Haha… We've made a decision. Sorry to keep you waiting!"

Bulat spoke up. "Yeah, yeah! Since you've just arrived, why don't you come to our place? We'd love to host you and treat you as our guests from afar."

Mine added, "Our meals are amazing, by the way. Right, Akame?"

Akame nodded. "Mm, Sheele's cooking is delicious."

March 7th and Stelle exchanged glances and blinked in sync.

Uncle Yang really deserves his reputation—he even predicted this.

Welt nodded in acknowledgment. "In that case, we'll gladly accept your hospitality. We'd also appreciate it if you could tell us more about the situation in this world."

"Of course, we'll provide some assistance in return as compensation."

Hearing this, the smiles on the faces of everyone except Akame grew even wider.

Leone laughed. "Haha, no problem, no problem! Come along, esteemed guests. Our base—well, our home—isn't far from here."
