"I really hate the demons right now beside this lovely one in front of me..." he muttered, frustrated by how little time they had to enjoy peace. The war pushed him to grow stronger faster than ever.

With a sigh, Logan continued to ready himself. He had plans to visit Ruben today to check on the latest gear options. The blacksmith hero was closing in on level 80, and Logan knew that once he got to the next class, he'd be able to forge gear that could keep up with Logan's growing power. Especially as Logan's next evolution would likely grant him morphing capabilities—he'd need weapons and armor that could adapt alongside him.

He made his way downstairs, where Ruri was already waiting and waved sweetly in his direction. Of course, Logan couldn't just walk past her. Not when she looked at him like that.

He stepped forward and kissed her gently, letting the brief moment linger before getting ready to head out. The day had just begun—and it was going to be a busy one.

"Not here, Logan," Ruri muttered, her cheeks turning red. "You know how I feel about doing things in public."

"Yes, but you never stop me," he smirked. "Now, have you seen Ruben? I need to fix or upgrade my gear before heading out. There's a creature I'm taming today, and I want to be ready."

"He's in the smithy, working on gear for the other heroes, although he has also been looking for you..." Ruri replied, trying to hide her smile. "Irma dropped off food earlier. He should still be there."

"Thanks. Prepare a meal for when I get back," Logan said as he reached out and gently patted her hair, he a few seconds to pay attention to this girl's stats.
