Chapter 9: Subject 723 Narration

Subject 723 run as fast as she can while occasionally looking back behind her.

Behind her, she could see several black clothed figure chasing her without rest

"What is this place! And why am I being chase by these black people!" Subject 723 shouted and run with all her might

She was a ordinary restaurant owner in fog city, she died and suddenly woken up in a unfamiliar place with wires connected to her skin

She didn't know where she is currently so she decided to broke the glass chamber and escape, what she didn't know is that as soon as she did it a Alarm went off and several black clothed figure appeared in front of her

Like any ordinary person would do, she screamed and throw a random 'thing' at the black clothed figure and killed half of them 'accidently'

The thing she throw was a spinning Ice Blade

Although she was confuse she decided to shrug it off and run towards the door and escape, when she look behind her, she saw that the black clothed figure were chasing her down

And that is how she got into this difficult situation

"Come on! Think of something!" Subject 723 said let's call her 723 for the time being

"There must be a exit somewhere here!" 723 said, she desperately look around trying to find any ways to stop the black clothed figure temporary

"There!" 723 shouted as she spotted several bookshelf lined evenly against each other

It's a little strange that a laboratory would have a bookshelf conveniently placed in such a row that could potential stop the black clothed figure

That was what 723 thought, she shake her head and raise both her hands at the row of bookshelf behind her

"Ice Blade!" 723 shouted and imagine a ice blade being shot at the bookshelf

*Swooosh*

Several spinning ice blade shot out, causing the bookshelf to fall down onto the black clothed figure

*Bang*

"Phew that should keep them at bay for now" 723 said in relief as she stopped running to catch her breath

"*huff* *huff*" 723 breathe heavily, sweat pouring down her forehead

723 eyes widen at the window screen that appeared in front of her

"A system?!" 723 shouted in shock as she stare at the window screen in disbelief, if she remember correctly, the window screen is called a system

"Negative Nineteen percent!? " 723 shouted, she rubbed her eyes and checked again but its still the same

"!!!" Alerted by the sudden sound she turn her head and look at where the sound come from

There she saw the black clothed man in some sort of barrier around them.

723 seeing that the black clothed figure is still alive, she decided not to continue pondering on the status panel anymore and run away as fast as she can without looking back

"Why is this Laboratory so Big!" 723 shouted, what she saw were rows upon rows of doors and hallway with many turns that seem to never end for her

She twisted and turn right, left and up the stairs without stopping, even if she tripped she would just stand up and continue to run as if her life depended on it

723 look behind her and saw that the black clothed figure were gone and only a empty hallway is there behind her

"Phew I lost them for now" 723 said with a sigh of relief but that doesn't mean she would stop and rest

*Thud*

"Ow!" 723 fall down butt first, she hold her forehead in pain as if she had hit a wall

She look at the thing she run into.

"!!!" 723 eyes tremble, in front of her wasn't a wall or a object but a person with white long hair and cold blue eyes staring directly at her

"Subject 723" The white haired woman coldly said, her eyes never leaving 723 figure

723 sweat dropped from her forehead.

The white haired girl crotch down and glare at 723 face

"Your not subject 723" The white haired girl said with a hint of confusion in her tone

"No..no I'm not" 723 bluntly said nervously

"?" The white haired figure glare at her again and nodded

"Do you know who I am?" The white haired figure asked her

"No" 723 answered nervously, from what 723 could recalled she doesn't recognise this white haired woman

The white haired girl eyes widen at her answered she smiled soon after

The white haired woman extended her hands towards 723

"I'm Vinny Yokai! Nice to meet you!" The white haired woman introduce herself with a cheerful tone, her previous cold tone is gone in a instant and is replace by a cheerful tone

723 look at her with a dumbfounded expression not expecting the sudden change of moods

"Hello Vinny Yokai, its nice to meet you" 723 greeted, she grabbed Vinny extended hands as Vinny helped her get up

"Since you can't remember who I am then let me help you remember! " Vinny excitedly said, her smile didn't seem to reach her eyes but 723 didn't notice it

"I'm the founder of this secret laboratory! And the one that created you! Subject 723!" Vinny explained to her

"Really, then who...who was that black clothed figure that was chasing me when I first woke up?" 723 asked Vinny a question

Vinny smile, her eyes seems empty.

Vinny close her eyes preventing anyone from seeing it, she give 723 a close eyed smile and happily explained the situation "don't worry about those black clothed figure! It's just that a intruder had invaded and were planning on kidnapping you!" Vinny lied as naturally as she breathe

723 expression turn into a worried look

Vinny seeing her expression, naturally took advantage of that.

"Fortunately you woke up before they could kidnapped you!" Vinny said

"The black clothed figure has already been captured and taken into the interrogation room! So you don't have to worry about it!" Vinny added which made 723 relief

"Since you have awaken from your 'Coma' then let me guide and explain what had happen in the past years since you fallen asleep" Vinny said with a oddly happy tone, she guide 723 to the outside of the laboratory

'So I'm a clone? A Loli at that' 723 thought she didn't expect to be transmigrated inside a Loli body, that could explained why she felt that her body was a bit too small

Hiko screamed in surprise and almost drop her fork on the floor

Zero on the other hands didn't even flinch and casually continue eating the meats that both her and Hiko cooked previously

"..." Vinny stare at this scene speechlessly

'It seems that Hiko has subdue Subject 0000 completely' Vinny thought with a nod of her heads satisfied with Hikos action

Previously, Vinny left Hiko and subject 0000 alone at that time, she trusted Hiko to put subject 0000 on the right path and not cause unnecessary death and destruction

And Vinny judgements was right, well half of it is right

"Hiko-Chan! Look at what I brought! " Vinny cheerfully shouted and emited a aura of joy around her

"Vinny-san! I was just talking about you! " Hiko exclaim with a Happy tone

"Come come and introduce yourself Emily! " Vinny ignore Hiko and pulled 723 in front of her

"?" Hiko stare at 723 in curiosity

"..." Zero didn't even look at her and continue eating

*Bang!*

Vinny shut the door with a bang and waited for 723 to introduce herself

"I'm...I'm Emily Yokai! Ni..Nice to meet...meet you!" 723 now name Emily muster her courage and introduce herself to both of them

When 723 and Vinny were walking inside the laboratory, Vinny decided to give her a name along the way

'Why am i feeling nervous all of a sudden! ' Emily thought, in her past life she was the one who made others nervous just from her presence alone, her beauty was a 10 out of 10 after all, but she decided to work in a restaurant instead of being a model, she heard that being a model is exhausting and she also doesn't want more stalkers coming for her then she already have

Hiko had long yellow hair styles in a twin tail, her red eyes sparkles every few second, she wore a white dress with a strawberry image on the middle of her shirt

Zero had long black hair and cold crimson eyes, she wore a oversize white shirt and short black pants

"Vinny-san! Emily-san! Let's eat Dinner first and chat for a bit!" Hiko said, her extroverted like personality seem to surprise Emily greatly

Vinny didn't say anything, she seat beside Hiko and chatted with Hiko about her wellbeing

"Hiko-Chan! How have you been doing lately?" Vinny happily said imitating Hiko Happiness

"good! This room is really spacious! But the servant doesn't come here often" Hiko answered while adding something that concerned her

Emily seat down beside Zero since there is only Four seat on the square table, she stare at the small square meats in front of her

"Here try it" Zero spoke making Emily flinch a bit, she look at the extended fork in front of her

"Thank you" Emily said, she grab the extended fork from Zeros hands as she ate the meats on it

"!!!" Emily eyes widen at the taste of the meats

'This meats is actually quite good!' Emily exclaim in her thought

"Delicious isn't it?" Zero said while looking at Emily expectantly

"Mhm" Emily nodded, she stabbed the meats with her fork and ate it happily

Zero smile at her action as she do ate the meats

Hiko and Vinny witness this interaction and they couldn't help but smile at it

"Vinny-san! Where is the Butler?" Hiko asked Vinny, curious where the butler went

"His currently on a mission to Celestia City! He will be back later" Vinny answered her questioned

Vinny put her hands inside her coat and pull out a Cup

Hiko didn't seem surprise at it 'She must have a Inventory similar to the system' Hiko thought and ate the meats on her plate

"????" Emily on the other hand is surprise at Vinnys action, and is even more surprise when the other two girl didn't reacted much to it, it was as if, it was a normal things to do...

'AS IF! You don't just pull your own Cup like it's natural!' Emily shouted in her mind, she felt that she's the only normal person here,

Emily sighed and eat the small square meats.

Ever since Emily got transmigrated here, her mind hasn't accepted that she died in her old world, Emily still think that all of this is a dream and everything will go back to normal like usual

"Hiko-Chan! Do you perhap notice anything strange when you look at the surrounding area?" Vinny asked while hinting at something

"What do you mean?" Hiko asked in confusion

"*sigh* Ahem! What I meant is, do you see any string like thing that's around here?" Vinny asked again

"String...you mean the red and gray string that is in front of me?" Hiko exclaim

"Yes! That!" Vinny eyes brighten at that

"The red and gray string you are seeing is your Mana leaking out!" Vinny explained, she raise her hands and pointed upwards

Vinny pointer fingers suddenly shot out a Blue String from her pointer finger

"Mana!" Hiko exclaim her eyes brighten and she smile excitedly

"That's right! This blue string here is my mana, and the red and gray string around you is your Mana that is leaking out of your body!" Vinny explained with a cheerful tone

"..." -Zero

Zero and Emily stare at Hiko and Vinny interacting with each other, Zero is just listening to them while taking note on how to interact with the human since her body is now a human, well more like a Loli Clone

Emily on the other hand is more interested in the Mana thingy that Vinny is talking about,

While Hiko is learning a lot of things from Vinny, Like how magic circles are created and why they are there and so on and so fort

As the hours pass

Vinny and Hiko continue talking while forgetting about Zero and Emily presence across the table

"So that's how it work!" Hiko lied as naturally as she breathe

"Yup that's how it work" Vinny glance at Hiko with a knowing look

"Ha..ha..ha" Hiko laughed awkwardly

"Emily-san! Let's go and play at the training grounds!" Hiko change the topic, she grab Emily wrist and dragged her out of the room, and jump through the window

Hiko flap her wings and flied with Emily-chan with her

"Wait wait wait! I'm afraid of Heigh—" Emily struggle to free herself from Hikos grasp

*Wooooosh*

"Ahhhh—" -Emily

And off they go flying above the mansion, you could almost hear Emily scream from down below

Vinny wave her hand at the both of them as they left from her sight

"Now that we are alone, I have a few things to ask" Vinny said as she gaze at Zero figure

"..." Zero didn't say anything and only nodded

"Ahhhhh!" Emily screamed loudly with all her lungs out, she's tingling on Hikos right hand

"Emily-san please stop screaming, your hurting my ears" Hiko asked politely

"AHHHHHH!!" Emily screamed even louder

30 second pass and they finally arrive at the training ground.

Hiko softly landed on the ground and dropped Emily down.

"Ground! Oh how I miss the ground! Muah! Muah!" Emily hugged the ground and started kissing it

Hiko watch this scene speechlessly, she shook her heads and decided to analyse her status panel
