"So you're my host?" The booming voice of Gyuki spread around the space.
Jason couldn't answer. He was shocked by the sheer size of Gyuki who was sitting infront of him and looked open-mouthed.
"Hey, why aren't you answering me?" Gyuki asked to Jason impatiently
Jason snapping out of his shock looked down at the bottom of the floor and noticed how far away he was from it. "Umm, can you put me down first?" Jason politely asked worried and Nervous of being dropped from such height.
"Hm? Oh yeah of course." Gyuki as if now realizing the problem gently lowered the tentacle that hold Jason. "There is that better?" Jason landed on the floor and nodded at Gyuki.
"Yeah, thanks." Jason checked his body making sure nothing bad has happened. Finding out he was fine he let out a sigh of reliefs. Jason looked down to see himself standing on top of water, to his right he saw tall buildings and roads covering the area. To his left he saw the vast ocean. "Is this?-"
"It's you're mindscape." Gyuki interrupted Jason. "The city over there represents the you from your previous world. The sea represent the you in this 'One Piece' world, other wise called the body's previous mindscape."
Jason then looked at Gyuki strangely. "Wait, how come you know so much about me already?"
"This is your mindscape where all your thoughts are gather. I've went through your memories and I've got to say this 'anime' and 'manga' thing? Very interesting." Gyuki spoke as his eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Anyways, back to the point I went through your memories and I understand your situation."
"Huh?" Jason looked at Gyuki utterly confused
"You're weak right now Jason, way too weak to survive in this world for now." Gyuki suddenly started to shrink down, Gyuki now stood only a little bit taller then Jason. "In this 'One Piece' world you need to get much stronger. From now on we will be training in the mindscape whenever we can. I know you have this thing called a system but training is still necessary"
Jason understood what Gyuki was trying to say, after he unlocked the system Jason hasn't been putting in as much effort in training as he used to. 'Damn what was I thinking?' Jason thought berating himself.
Jason then clenched his fist with determination in his eyes, but then Jason paused the determination in his eye changing to confusion. "Wait, then how will we train isn't this my mindscape? I shouldn't be able to do any actually training right?" Jason asked
"Physically maybe but think about it kid, what is something important to this world and has something to do with spiritual energy?" Gyuki asked
"Spiritual?" Jason mumbled the word a few times before he suddenly realized. "Haki!"
"That's right and from what I understand Chakra and Haki are similar in a sense. We'll be practicing precise chakra control before we start haki training though. Cause I had to painfully watch, you waste a whole lot of chakra on a single Water Prison jutsu." Gyuki stated as Jason rubbed the back of his head embarrassed.
"So, should I use my points to try and get another jutsu to practice as well or..." Jason asked Gyuki waiting to hear his answer.
"Hmmm" Gyuki pondered. "No, I know some basic water style jutsu you could use. We'll use those instead."
"Alright, so when will we begin?"
"Let's start tomorrow after all I'm sure she will also like to have a turn." Gyuki pointed behind Jason. Jason turning around finally noticed a flying ball of light.
"Hello, I was hoping meet you Jason." The ball of light spoke to Jason with a gentle and kind voice.
"Um, hello?" Jason looked curiously at the ball of light. wondering what it was
"My name is Grandeeney, you should recognize that name right?" Jason hearing the name knew exactly what this flying orb was now, Grandeeney's spirit.
Jason stood still wondering how Grandeeney was even in his mindscape. He thought deeply before he remembered. Dragon Slayer Lacrima, are created using the heart of a dragon.
"I see you recognize me now." Grandeeney spoke to Jason noticing his shocked face.
"Wait, wait, wait pause. How are you here? I mean I finally get that I used your Lacrima to obtain Sky Dragon Slayer magic but you should be dead because of that right?" Jason asked now even more confused.
"Dragons are natural much stronger then you humans and it isn't just our physical capabilities, our spiritual strength is just as strong allowing us to stay as spirits." Grandeeney then started circling around Jason. "I can tell you can use most of my powers like enhancement. But you don't know how to use some of them. You only seem to know the more basic spells, I'm here to transfer my knowledge to you."
"So you will also teach me?" Jason asked as he wondered how he will be trained by Grandeeney.
"Not exactly." Grandeeney's soul then stopped her movement and came incredibly close to Jason's face. "I said I'll transfer my knowledge and I mean it literally." Grandeeney then touched Jason's forehead and unfamiliar memories started filling Jason's mind.
"AHHHHH!" Jason clutched his head in pain and knelt down on the floor screaming in pain. After several minutes of enduring the immense pain, Jason finally started to calm down as the pain started to dissappear.
"Hmmm, it seems like human's mental strength is weaker then I imagined." Grandeeney casually said earning a glare from Jason. "Don't give me that look I thought you had enough mental strength to handle the pain."
"Well from my own observation the kid really does need to improve his mental strength. If it wasn't for me he might've died before." Gyuki joined the conversation agreeing with Grandeeney. "By the way Jason what is your goal?" Gyuki suddenly asked surprising Jason.
"Umm, well...." Jason suddenly looked lost and started thinking deeply.
"When you first came to this world your only goal seem to have been to survive, but now? You have the strength to at least survive now what?" Gyuki paused giving Jason a chance to take in his words before he continued. "Back then when you met that Shanks fellow I sensed it your determination. You have determination but no goal to use those determination for. So tell me what is your goal?"
Jason continued thinking deeply, back in his original world he was just a normal college student, with a normal family, and with a hobby of watching anime. In his life nothing significant has happened then, but now in this world full of dreams and adventure. Did he really want to become just another extra without a dream?.
'What do I want to do?' Jason thought.
"You don't need to give me an answer for now. To me your feelings are still trying to understand it's own self." Gyuki spoke snapping Jason out of his thought. Gyuki then noticed that Jason's body started to become transparent. "It seems like you're about to wake up see you next time kid!"
"Please, take care of yourself and don't get in any trouble." Grandeeney also said her goodbye. Before Jason could even reply a blinding light forced him to cover his eyes. When he opened them he noticed that he was back in bed.
Jason silently stood up from the bed and looked at his now clenched fist. 'My own goal?'
