Chapter 16: You better watch out
-DING DONG-
"Hello? O it's you Scott"
"Hi Laura, Merry Christmas"
"Merry Christmas. So is there a reason you didn't call ahead to tell us you were visiting?"
"Well for starters, the last time we meet you accused me of manipulating Charlie and from hiding the truth from you guys, but no more. Tomorrow is Christmas Day and I wanted to show you guys the truth before tomorrow, so can I come in."
Laura stared for a moment and then opened the door fully and gestured for me to enter
"Thank you. Charlie, Neal, Merry Christmas"
"Dad!" Charlie came running and hugged me. "Merry Christmas, Dad"
"Hi Charlie it's good to see you. It has been a while"
"Yeah Dad I'm glad your are here. Does this mean I can join you on your trip tonight?"
"Yes, but I also plan to bring your mother and Neal with us"
"Really?" Charlie asked, his eyes wide open
"Really, but first I have to get them to agree. So go get ready I'll talk to them right now"
"Ok Dad" Said Charlie as he ran back upstairs to get changed. Meanwhile Neal came other with Laura.
"Neal good to see you... nice sweater... did you're mother make it?
"No, I bought it at a mall. I'm surprised you didn't know I saw a Santa there, I thought it was you."
"O...Sorry I was busy with something else"
"What? Trying out Santa suits? Recruiting elves?
"Hey... you better watch out"
"Enough!" Laura shouted and stepped in front of me saying "I'm glad your visiting for Christmas, but you said there was something you wanted to share what was it"
"Look I know that my image and what you probably heard from Charlie might seem like I'm slowly losing my mind, that is not true. I don't want to keep hiding things from you guys because whether I like it or not, you are both Charlie's parents."
"Ok, so what is the truth"
"... it would be easier to show you guys" I say putting my gloves back on and grabbing the bell in my jacket.
"O no you don't" Neal said " Your are stalling, dancing around the subject. If you plan to tell us just tell us."
Ok, so I might have to go to plan B. Releasing the bell and grabbing the jar instead.
"Ok, but all I ask is that you guys don't laugh... I am the real Santa Claus"
... BAHAHAHA both Laura and Neal begin laughing and seeing that I wouldn't be able to convince them to wait for a magical train to appear in front of their house, plan B it is.
"A shame, but perhaps you guys will get a chance to ride the train in the future."
"What?"
Opening the lid I pour some of the sand into my hand and without giving them a chance to question it I proceed to slap Neal in the face.
-SLAP- The sand works instantly and Neal drops to the ground. Since I got there I always wanted to do that. Laura gasps in surprise.
"Neal!?!? Scott what are you doing!" -Puff- with the remaining sand in my hand I blow into Laura's face and she falls asleep.
Ok so they are both asleep now all I have to do now is get them onboard the train.
"Dad I'm ready... what happened to Mom and Neal?"
"... them? they decided to go to sleep before we reach the north pole. Now I have something cool to show you, here, all you have to do is ring the bell"
Trying to distract Charlie I hand him the silver bell to ring. And proceed to lift Neal by his arms. This is going to be an interesting night.
