Chapter 34: A Kiss and a Knock

Seeing Rika lying on the bed, Shizuka couldn't hide the smile spreading across her face. She was relieved—finally, Rika was safe, at least for now.

"Thank you," Shizuka said, her voice light with genuine gratitude as she turned toward Orochimaru, who had been the one to bring Rika back from the brink. He had left right after lunch, not just to save her as quickly as possible, but also to make sure the damage at the airport was minimal—enough for him to loot, or rather, gather resources.

Orochimaru nodded, his mind drifting to the widespread destruction the world was facing. His gaze remained distant, unbothered by the chaos around them.

Of course, he didn't care much. If anything, the destruction felt almost trivial to him. Maybe in another life, or if he didn't have the experience from his own world, he might've felt pity—perhaps even tried to be some sort of saint, trying to save humanity or rebuild. But no. He wasn't that person. In his eyes, the collapse of civilizations was just another natural cycle.

He'd learned long ago that survival wasn't about saving the world—it was about making sure you were the one left standing when the dust settled.

"You should rest," Orochimaru had said before leaving, his voice calm but with that underlying sense of finality. As he walked away, his mind drifted to the projects he had in mind—plans for the future, schemes he had no intention of explaining just yet.

When he finally reached his room and was in the process of closing the door, he paused. Something—or rather someone—made him turn.

Yuriko stood there, hesitating just outside the door. The faint sound of her breath broke the silence between them.

"I..." she started, but her voice trailed off, the words caught in her throat.

Orochimaru didn't need her to finish the sentence to know exactly why she was there.

With a small, almost imperceptible smirk, Orochimaru leaned against the doorframe. "You don't need to say it," he said smoothly, his voice laced with a knowing tone. "I understand."

He turned back to the bed, but before he could settle in, he noticed Yuriko's movements. She was already making her way toward the floor, seemingly prepared to kneel as she usually did. But Orochimaru wasn't in the mood for that.

With a fluid motion, he raised a hand and patted the bed beside him, signaling her to come up.

Yuriko's hesitation didn't escape Orochimaru's notice. He could practically see the doubt dancing around in her eyes, but he wasn't the type to leave that hanging. With a shift of his posture, he closed the gap between them, his hand snapping out to grab her arm before she could get comfy on the bed.

Before she could even blink, he pulled her toward him, and in one smooth motion, Yuriko found herself flat on the bed with a startled gasp.

Orochimaru stood over her like he owned the whole room—and let's be honest, in this moment, he kinda did. His gaze was sharp, not exactly cruel, but intense enough to make her second-guess every choice she'd ever made.

"Don't hesitate," he said, voice low and smooth, but there was an unmistakable authority in his tone. "You're here because you know exactly where you stand."

Yuriko's mind scrambled, trying to keep up, but her body was already caught in the moment. She opened her mouth to say something—anything—but before that Orochimaru has already filled it with his tongue.

He is already dominating her before the game even begins. His tongue was exploring her while his right hand was squeezing one of her breasts.

His touch made her shiver, and he kissed her even more intensely.

"Mmm~"

She couldn't contain her moans anymore; the pleasure she was getting just by kissing was too much for silence.

But the pleasure stopped because someone knocked on the door.

As Orochimaru's mouth left her, a thin line of saliva joined them, which broke as he distanced more.

Giving a slap on her bosom makes her moan "aahh~"

Orochimaru groaned under his breath as he pulled away, clearly irritated by the interruption. He walked over to the door, sliding it open just enough to see who was standing there. His expression was as calm as ever, but anyone with half a brain could tell he was less than pleased.

"Well, this better be important," he muttered to himself as he waited to see who was on the other side.
