However, before he truly returned to the dormitory, Haruto stopped at a quiet street corner and created several shadow clones. With swift and steady hand movements, he instructed his clones to gather more information about the mysterious group intending to attack the Academy. The clones vanished in an instant, blending into the shadows of the night, leaving Haruto alone.

After ensuring everything was proceeding according to plan, Haruto continued his journey to the dormitory, his thoughts still racing. Upon arriving at his room, Haruto carefully locked the door.

He then sat cross-legged in the center of the room, closed his eyes, and focused all his attention on one goal: contacting the Shadow Clones.

"Mind and Body Transmission Technique…" Haruto murmured softly. The technique was complex, and he wasn't sure if it could be applied to Shadow Clones, but he had to try. There was no other way to communicate over distance.

Slowly, Haruto felt the familiar flow of energy from his chakra coursing through his body. He began to seek out the signals of his clones' presence. Haruto's mind wandered, exploring the darkness beyond, until he finally found one of them.

"Hey, can you hear me? This is the Mind and Body Transmission Technique. I'm not sure if it'll work with Shadow Clones, but since you're a fairly perfect copy with chakra, it might succeed… Do you hear me?" Haruto initiated the communication, his tone slightly nervous.

Several silent seconds passed, making Haruto doubt his effort. But then, a familiar voice emerged in his mind, calm and clear.

"Yes, I can hear you. To be honest, I'm not sure this will work either. But it seems we can talk using this technique," replied the Shadow Clone.

"Good. From now on, we'll communicate this way. However, the further the target is, the more chakra I'll need. This could be a bit troublesome." Haruto exhaled a sigh of relief. He frowned, realizing the limitations of the technique.

"I understand. So, we can only talk for a short time, right?" The Shadow Clone nodded its head.
