Shaking his head in exasperation, Cassius accepted the pen. Then he wrote his full name at the bottom of the contract in a refined cursive style.

Once he finished writing his signature, Bella wasted no time; she yanked at her hair and beard. "It's me—Bella!!" she haughtily exclaimed. "You didn't see this coming, did you, my love??"

Cassius blankly stared at her, truly wondering if there was something seriously messed up within her brain. Though, considering how badly she seemed to want this moment, he feigned surprise with an oh-so-shocked expression.

"How could this be…?" he said lazily. "How could the old street vendor be Bella…? What sorcery…"

"Fufu~" Bella giggled victoriously while happily swinging back and forth. "I knew you'd fall for my impeccable disguise! And now you're stuck with me forever—as my husband! We should begin the Vampiric Ritual Ceremony right away—"

"You know that part of the contract wasn't official, right?"

"...It wasn't?"

"Did you not even bother to understand how the contract worked before coming and sitting here all night?" Cassius asked, slightly taken aback. "It's clear that your father wrote down nearly all of this, but as for the last part…"

Bella broke out in a guilty cold sweat. "I-I have no clue what you're talking about! Wh…Who is the one who eloquently added the last segment!? Trying to tarnish the Crestmore Family's noble name, are they!??"

Silence.

After a few seconds of awkwardly staring at each other, Cassius reached out and picked up the vial of blood before downing it in one gulp.

Bella's eyes briefly flashed in surprise. She felt his connection with her deepen greatly, causing her to bubble up in euphoria. The blood he drank was partly mixed with her primordial essence; after all. It was something she spent a great deal to extract and have primordialized.

But for her, it was all worth it.

'We're becoming so much closer~! I want to become even closer~!!'

It took everything she had not to jump Cassius while he was undergoing a Racial Advancement. His sharp canine teeth increased in length, his wings sprouted from his back, and his icy blue eyes turned a dark crimson red. However, his appearance took an even greater step, transforming his bat-like wings into terrifyingly grim wings that stretched outward for nearly a dozen meters.

Yet, it didn't end there, for an overwhelmingly powerful bloodthirsty aura enveloped the area—with him as the source.

"He's so… so… so hot!!!" Bella screamed out, hearts swirling around in her eyes. "I want him so, so, so bad~!!"

Her lust was becoming progressively worse, but she quickly snapped out of it when she realized how big a commotion this promotion could create. She acted immediately, using a high-rank Vampire Ability called |Blood Dome| to isolate everything happening with her husband.

Fortunately, there weren't any people on this abandoned street, so no one was trapped in the |Blood Dome| with them.

OOOM!

Cassius's aura further expanded as something much darker mixed with his advancing Vampire Duke Bloodline.

It was his Demon King Bloodline!

As a result of his Vampire Duke Bloodline's advancement into the EX- Rank, his Demon King Bloodline also advanced forward!

SS-Rank → SSS+ Rank!

Just like that, his Demon King Bloodline exceeded its limits and transformed into something that vastly improved the effectiveness of his Demon King Rank.

His power soared!

Yet, the chain sequence of events was nowhere close to being done…

His Oracle Sphinx Bloodline took a major leap and jumped straight to the SSS-Rank!

The Demon Dragon Bloodline was not too far behind, as it leapt directly to the SSS-Rank as well!

Then there was his Ordinary Phoenix Bloodline, which not only leveled up to the SSS-Rank but also metamorphosed into something superior—the Legendary Phoenix Bloodline!

Cassius's already immense aura broke through shackle after shackle, surpassing limit after limit.

Until eventually, like a raging river returning to tranquility, his aura vanished. And he lightly tapped the ground, his disposition entirely otherworldly.

He appeared more ethereal. Acted more ethereal. Even breathed in a more ethereal way.

"The EX-Rank," Cassius said calmly. "It really did all this."

The EX-Rank, unlike the ranks that came before, was one where the common evolved into something far less common. It was a rank akin to transcendence. And with transcendence—or ascendance—even a chicken could be carried to heaven with oneself.

In this case, acquiring an EX-Rank Bloodline—even if it was only of the minus status—was enough to carry the rest of Cassius's Bloodlines closer to the EX-Rank.

This was what caused the situation before him. From this moment onward, any and all Bloodlines obtained by him would receive the same treatment. Even if the Bloodline was only of the E-Rank, it would automatically advance to the SSS-Rank as soon as it fused with him.

The only seemingly unfortunate part about all this was that any relevant Techniques or Skills tied to upgraded Bloodlines would not also be upgraded. This meant his Supreme Nirvana Rebirth S-Rank Skill was still at the S-Rank. The same applied to his Demon Dragon Integration Arts and Fiendish Demon King Arts.

But on the plus side, all of those Techniques and Skills would now be far easier to level up, thanks to the improved quality of their linked Bloodlines. Before long, every single one of them would surely reach the SSS-Rank.

"Hmm…" Cassius clenched and unclenched his fists, unsure of just how much power he now possessed. 'Would I be able to take on the weakest of Demon Kings as I am now?'

He wasn't too clear on the answer to that question. But even if he wasn't there just yet, he certainly wasn't far off either.

A few more weeks of grinding his Techniques, Skills, and AP, and he might achieve the power necessary to resume his march through HELL…

However, until then, he still had some matters to attend to. One of those matters was staring at him with wide, sparkly eyes as they spoke:

"Hubby, you're so powerful now~! Just look at you~!!" Bella screamed like a fangirl, giddily inspecting every inch of his partially exposed body. "Say, how about we consummate our marriage right now~?? I'll call for Father~!!"
