Xavier Adams opened his eyes and found himself in a rather familiar room.

The moldy rusty air brought about a long-missed nostalgia and awakened some memories that he had long forgotten with the passage of time.

Xavier Adams sighed and turned to look outside from the narrow window.

The boundless blue skies, the singing of birds, the towering trees in the distance… they all reminded him of a peace and quiet that would soon become scarce.

"All this will become history once the game and reality merge and wars and invasions start."

That's right… Xavier Adams could be said to be quite the odd individual in Infinite Frontier.

For starters, on his first round, he started off like any other player on the Blue Planet.

Buying a VR Capsule and diving into the VRMMORPG Infinite Frontier was all the rage at that time.

I mean, this game had up to 99.999% reality synchronization and the Currency conversion system was very lucrative.

It would plain dumb not to play a game where 10 Common Coins could be exchanged for 1 yuan.

In a month, Xavier Adams could make about 30,000 yuan from just doing small quests like collecting herbs and clearing the drainage.

In the current economy, there are very few jobs IRL that could rake in so much with little effort.

Anyway, playing Infinite Frontier was more lucrative than anything else when he first tried the game.

What no one expected was that after a year, when the first level 100 player emerged, the game merged with reality and all hell broke loose.

Can you imagine what it is like for a level 99 Dungeon Boss to spawn right in the middle of the street?

A few seconds are all it would take for such a place to turn into pandemonium.

Of course, the world was not so helpless. No matter what level a monster is, a missile could still injure it if only a little.

In extreme cases, a nuclear bomb could clear out some troublesome cases.

This is also where Xavier Adams met his death for the first time.

Despite his level being above level 60 at that time, he could only do his best to hold the Great Jade Roc in place for an incoming nuke.

And man was that a thrill… but that's beside the point.

What really surprised him afterward is the fact that he was reborn… or was it reincarnated? Anyway, he ended up as an NPC inside Infinite Frontier.

Since then, he had been dying and resurrecting in this very room for who knows how many times now.

His level might have gone back to level 1, but that is nothing when you look at other things he carried over this time round.

His mere innate talents are enough for him to rival gods at level 1.

Infinitum Continuum for instance is the largest finite representation of infinity. Which means that it is the largest number in existence unless that crazy goddess decides otherwise on a whim at some point.

If he were to assign this number to one of his attributes…

Then there is the [Direct Upgrade] which directly upgrades anything to its highest possible level in this world. It does not matter whether it is a skill, a talent, an object, or even a person. As long as he deems it so, it can be upgraded directly.

The only drawback would be that such an upgrade can only serve him in the end.

If he were to use it on a person, it would be no different from slavery. If he were to use it on a weapon or tool, only he could use it… well, Ophelia could also use it, but that's a different matter.

As for [Attribute Echo], it enabled him to reflect attribute values across the board.

This means that he only needs to assign [Infinitum Continuum] to one of his attributes and the rest would be just as broken.
