It’s not that kind of malicious broadcast

In the small office, the sound of typing on the keyboard filled the air for a long time. Lee Yeri’s slightly bloodshot eyes met the concerned gaze of her junior, who had brought her a cup of coffee.

It was well-known that those enduring life at a law firm often became workaholics… but even by those standards, Lee Yeri’s workload seemed excessive.

As Lee Yeri lightly nodded and sipped her coffee briefly, her junior took it as a cue for a break and tried to strike up a conversation. But soon, Yeri was fully engrossed in her laptop screen again, wearing her usual impassive expression.

Watching her, Yoo Jiah, the junior, did a small stretch and then returned to typing. She hadn’t planned to take a long break anyway. After all, it was for her favorite broadcaster and younger sibling of the senior she admired.

Contrary to broadcasters who valued consistency, GetDevoured often followed a pattern similar to a seasonal broadcast. There were times she would broadcast for tens of hours over several days and then disappear for a week. This cycle had repeated several times.

“……I understand, attorney. But, is it possible to request payment in terms of broadcast time? It’s not that I’m complaining about having to work when the broadcast hours are surging. Hot water poured from the showerhead.

By turning the water towards the wall and waiting for a moment, the small bathroom soon filled with warm steam.

It felt like being wrapped in a cozy, warm, and weightless blanket.

This was one of the few advantages of a small house and a newly discovered precious luxury. Next month’s heating bill might be considerable, but… it’s probably fine. Around this time last year, I showered with cold water every day. Averaging it out, it should be a reasonable expense.

Relaxing in this little steam-filled wet sauna made those concerns feel insignificant. Letting go of the sense of time and zoning out in a daze… if it were possible, I would have liked to stay here forever.
