KARNA love and life of a girl

Chapter 3: 3.LUNCH in a paddy field.l

The young lady who came towards krishna is her cousin Aparna. Aparna , with half saree draped neatly , came in a half running way to catch krishna who is on her way to her father's field to bring him lunch. Krishna walked towards Aparna's direction meeting her in between. Aparna, due to her hurriedness, was exhausted and bent a little suppourting her body with palms over her knees and rapidly drawing few breaths till she become calm. After slowly catching her breath ''krishna.. my mother asked me to give this junnu¹ to your father. Uncle really likes this, right? You know that kamala aunt beside my house, their cow gave birth to a calf, and aunt prepared some junnu and gave us, she also mentioned to give it to your father as she remembered my father saying your father likes it.''.....Aparna talked without taking a break handing over a box to Krishna..

Aunt kasthuri came out of the yard upon hearing loud noise made by Aparna in a hurried manner and breath a sigh of relief on seeing Aparna and Krishna talking (basically it is just Aparna blabbering and Krishna silently listening to her).

Aunt kasthuri '' Aparna, how many times did i tell you not to scream in the streets?'' twisting the upper part of Aparna's left ear lobe with her right hand. Aparna whining '' aunt kasthuri... don't do that.....look at my ear. It's almost deformed by your twisting '' in a discontended tone rubbing her earlobe after removing aunt kasthuri's hand.. '' Why do you always like to twist my ear? What if one day it just comes out of my head.....?'' Aparna added with a confusing look on her face covering both her ears with her palms and shaking her head. On seeing this scene aunt kasthuri let out a loud laugh which she controlled in next instant and '' don't worry , don't worry, I will make sure to stitch it back properly. You know how good I am at stitching and crafting materials, right? '' with a little smug on her lips and slowly rubbing her left hand over Aparna's head. Hearing this Aparna screamed so loud like a four year old kid throwing a tantrum not to take over her favorite toys....

Krishna '' aunt kasthuri, please don't tell those kind of things, you know how much Aparna is afraid of horror things'' giving a sympathetic look to Aparna and placed her palm over Aparna's shoulder and slowly patting in sense of comforting.

Aunt kasthuri added '' krishna , don't worry about that, Aparna is not afraid of them anymore as she was in her childhood.'' Looking again at Aparna ''Aparna , don't take advantage of krishna's kindness. Look at her still believing your act till now. You better tell her that sometime.'' Giving Aparna a look full of warning. Krishna did not understand that and left it there when she saw the box in Aparna's hand '' aaaah! I was supposed to bring lunch box to father to his field. And i lost track of it when you came screaming to me like an accident took place. I need to hurry.'' Showing her packed lunch to Aparna. Aunt kasthuri looking at Aparna's hand '' krishna take Aparna with you and have her give junnu to your father herself.''with a gentle smile on her face placing her hand over krishna's shoulder and looking at Aparna as if waiting for her response. Aparna '' I don't mind going along with krishna'' with a big smile on her face making her black eyes looks smaller making a small cresent and threw herself onto krishna's shoulder draping her hand over which made krishna stumble a little and need to lean on aunt kasthuri for support with a gentle smile over her lips .....as then...

Both Aparna and Krishna took leave from aunt Kasthuri and headed to paddy fields where muthyalaiah is working.

Aparna and krishna usually hang out together even when there is nothing going on... like going to temple, going to weekly market on wednesday morning, any festivals in their village or traveling to other village when there are any festive events going on. They both enjoy sharing their time together and their families treat the other one same as their own child. In Aparna's house aunt subadhra (aparna's mother) loves Krishna more than Aparna for which Aparna is happy and sometimes act sulky to gain her mother's attention. While chatting about Aparna's brother and mother, they almost arrived at their field. On seeing krishna Venkatesham (a person working in the field) '' Oh Krishnamma².... it's been a long time since you've come here. We missed you. Why not visit us often ?'' asked in excitement with a big smile and standing with rice saplings in one hand and waving another hand to krishna as he saw krishna whom he's watching since her birth.

Krishna, with a warm smile and gentle brown eyes , replied '' venkatesham uncle, i missed you all too, i will try to come often and spend more time with you all'' waving her hand back to venkatesham. Aparna '' venkatesham uncle seems to have forgotten about me'' looking towards venkatesham with her cheeks puffed and looked at Krishna as if she is asking for her support . Krishna as if she understood what Aparna meant supported her. Venkatesham chuckled himself and '' no way I am going to forget our village daughter . Come here I will teach how to plant these saplings'' gesturing with his hand asking her to join him in the field.
