Chapter 27: Chapter 27 Kurohiko, the "Beast of the Hive,"

The dense jungle around them seemed to hum with tension as Tanmay faced Kurohiko. The air was thick with anticipation. Kurohiko, the "Beast of the Hive," stood tall, his wild, untamed presence radiating raw, unfiltered power. His muscular form was rippling with energy, every movement deliberate, every muscle honed for destruction. Tanmay cracked his knuckles, his eyes locked on his opponent. He could feel the energy in the air, and though he was confident in his strength, he knew this fight was different. Kurohiko wasn't just another opponent-he was a force of nature, a wild beast whose aggression and relentless power could overwhelm anyone who wasn't careful. Tanmay exhaled sharply and took a fighting stance, focusing on his breathing. This wasn't going to be ut he was ready. He would give ever, he hadWithout warning, Kurohiko lunged, his claws outstretched, aimed directly for Tanmay's throat. The sheer speed of his attack was blinding, and Tanmay barely managed to duck under the strike, rolling to the side just in time. The ground where he had been standing exploded as Kurohiko's claws sank deep into the earth, sending debris flying in all directions. Tanmay's instincts kicked in. He shot forward, aiming a punch at Kurohiko's side, but Kurohiko was faster. He twisted out of the way, his muscles propelling him like a beast hunting its prey. His counterattack was swift, and Tanmay barely managed to block the blow with his forearm. The impact reverberated through his body, sending a shock of pain through his entire arm. "You're fast, I'll give you that," Tanmay said through gritted teeth his voice steady despite the pain. "I 's not enough to beat meNot Kurohiko bared his teeth in a feral grin, his eyes glinting with excitement. "We'll see about that." Kurohiko charged again, his wild nature taking over as he fought with primal fury. He was relentless-each strike more powerful than the last. His claws slashed through the air, forcing Tanmay to block and dodge at the last possible moment. The sheer force of each attack sent shockwaves through the ground beneath them. Tanmay's breathing became more labored, his energy starting to drain with each dodged strike. His body was strong, but Kurohiko's speed and power were overwhelming. Tanmay could feel the weight of every punch and kick. But despite the pain, Tanmay's resolve only grew stronger. He couldn't afford when he had come so iarAs the battle raged on, Tanmay could feel his strength starting to wane. Kurohiko's unrelenting attacks were taking their toll, and his own movements were starting to slow. But he refused to give in. Kurohiko didn't stop. His wild, untamed style forced Tanmay to fight purely on instinct, every move calculated yet unpredictable. Tanmay was dodging and countering, but Kurohiko was always one step ahead. The force of the blows sent Tanmay crashing into nearby trees, the branches snapping as he ricocheted off them. "Is that all you've got?" Kurohiko taunted, stepping closer. His voice was low and mocking, almost bored as Tanmay struggled to stay on his feet. Tanmay could barely catch his breath. He was bruised, battered and exhausted. He needed a breakthr anything, to turn the omething, of the battle. His

anything, to turn the tide of the battle. His smoke powers, though potent, weren't enough to match Kurohiko's ferocity. But then, as Tanmay focused on his breathing, something inside him clicked. His hybrid energy, dormant until now, began to surge. Tanmay's pupils widened as his hybrid form started to unlock. His muscles tensed as his power slowly increased. It wasn't much, but it was enough. His speed improved, and his reflexes sharpened. He launched himself at Kurohiko, this time faster and stronger, using his heightened abilities to dodge and strike. Kurohiko seemed momentarily taken aback by Tanmay's sudden shift in speed, but he quickly adapted, his claws sweeping through the air to meet Tanmay head-on. The force of their st created shockwaves, each ving a massive crater in the earth beneath themTanmay's body was now moving like a well-oiled machine. Every strike he threw was calculated and precise, each move aimed at finding an opening. His blows landed with greater force, and Kurohiko was finally starting to falter. The tides were slowly shifting in Tanmay's favor. With a final burst of strength, Tanmay summoned every ounce of power he had left, delivering a devastating uppercut that sent Kurohiko flying backward. Kurohiko landed with a sickening thud, struggling to rise. Panting, Tanmay stood over him, his chest heaving. "I told you," Tanmay said, his voice heavy with exhaustion. "You're not the only one who can keep up." Kurohiko let out a low growl, blood dripping from his mouth. "You're strong... but not strong enough

Despite his exhaustion, Tanmay grinned. "We'll see about that.
