KOR - Knight of Revenge

"Although that place was a mess, I felt something, I don't know if it was because I always lived in a hostile place or because the people there were nice, I miss group moments."

 Sleeping, Gaius once again dreamed of the wolf, this time he reached the top of the mountain, but something was still missing for him, his extreme loneliness made him careless, and fall, not dying, but being on the verge of death.

 Gaius was waking up, he was in the middle of many people, and Baron was sleeping hugging him:

- Get out of here! Gaius says pushing Baron away

 He went out into the hut, blinded by the sunlight, but he heard someone shout his name:

- Gaius! - Grita Durval

 Sleepy, Gaius walks up to the general.

 Durval was the general of the army, being responsible for training, part of the plans and among other things:

- Despite all the confusion of yesterday I still believe it can bring good results, don't think I forgot what you did, but you can be a good piece for the army, discharged! – says Durval

 While walking, he found Henrich, reading a book, but when he noticed his presence he closed it right away:

- Gaius, I forgot to tell you, but you need to know the members of the squad. – says Henrich

- Squad members? Why divide these people? – says Gaius

 Henrich ria:

- WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING? – says Gaius

- I don't know, your innocence makes me laugh sincerely... But you see, each squad member is one of the leaders of each part of the army, so it is more... let's say flexible. When you do a great feat, you can be part of it. – says Henrich

 The two were entering Henrich's house, where most of the squad members were, when he enters he finds Gabriel, Leila, Otis and Clement

 Otis was one of the smartest in the army, with his quick deduction the gang could make the best possible decisions.

 Clement is the most isolated of all the members, as if he didn't want to relate to the others on purpose, being one of the most mysterious members of the pack:

- Well, I believe you must already know him, this is the new member of the pack. – says Henrich

 Gabriel gives Gaius a smile, as if they already knew each other.

 Leila only watches Gaius with a look of hatred.

- Let's see what will happen, from what we have seen, it will be a great knight. – says Otis

- Henrich, while Marshal and Alan, have already returned? – says Clement ignoring the existence of Gaius

- In a few they arrive, with the information ready about Emperor Boris. – says Henrich

 Henrich looks at Gaius and says:

- Apart from them, there is more the... Baron who is sleeping, Tobias who... It's been Tobias and Marshal and Alan, the two only work together, being the ones who know how to hide the most, in this way, a source of information for us. – says Henrich

- I see, and where do I come into this? It seems that there are so many who already do my job. – says Gaius

- It's always good to have one more. – says Henrich walking away

 When Henrich leaves, Gaius realizes that everyone was looking at him with a look of suspicion, except Gabriel, thus isolating him even more from the others as before.

 Meanwhile, he took this moment to train even more, the blows he received before were already treated, feeling strong as always, only this time he had greater confidence, since now he was no longer alone.

 But the threat was now greater, Boris was an emperor who in addition to being strong, stronger than Gaius, had decades of experience, a band like Henrich's would not be able to face so many men, but the difference was that Henrich would deal the first blow, having to ensure that it would be fatal.

 That same day, Marshal and Alan returned to the base, with the information needed to invade Boris's kingdom, Henrich says:

- And then? – says Henrich

-Good... His kingdom is surrounded by a huge thicket, we only have room for our men at the entrance, until then they will discover us. – says Marshal

- The downside is that Boris is thinking of invading another kingdom, despite being very well known it is our chance to stab them in the back. – says Alan

- Did you find out how many remained in the kingdom? – says Henrich

- Ai that is... – says Alan

- How many men do we have exactly? – says Marshal

"About two hundred... around. – says Henrich

- Boris's reign is eight hundred. – says Marshal

 Henrich was a little thoughtful about what they were about to do:

- As I said, they will go to war, about four hundred knights will go to this place, so it could be worse. – says Alan

- But it's still twice as many as ours, a direct invasion will shake the gang completely. – says Marshal

- So if someone infiltrates and sends a false alarm in the opposite direction, we can have an advantage. – says Alan

"You two, listen... tomorrow we will invade that kingdom. – says Henrich

 The brothers are scared at the time:

 Gaius when he returned to his cabin, he came face to face with Marshal:

 Marshal would leave with Alan, letting Gaius into the cabin, after another day in the pack, he lies down, waiting for sleep to come, while thinking about tomorrow, until Gabriel comes to him:

 And during the night, Henrich's army was divided into a few groups, groups that had each mission to accomplish, group A of Henrich, Alan and Marshal, would be the reinforcements for group B, group B of Gabriel and Baron would camp in the forest near Boris' kingdom, to execute a silent invasion.

 Group C of Leila and Gaius, the objective was to invade Boris' kingdom head-on, being the main bait of the entire invasion.

 On March 19, 872, Henrich's band entered one of their greatest duels, against the kingdom of an emperor known for not being pious, his name scared the most experienced knights, that would be the day to prove that numbers were nothing to Henrich

 At eight o'clock in the morning, Gaius and Leila appeared to the guards of the kingdom, who instinctively sent full force against a possible threat, Gaius a little confidently says:

- Fifty men against... three hundred? – says Gaius

-Gaius! – says Leila

-Tell. Gaius says looking at some riders who were starting to gallop towards them

- "Say", say "commander". – says Leila

 Gaius began to laugh:

- But is this serious? – says Gaius

-Your... look, if you're what Henrich says so much, face those men, but unlike the last time, they have better armor. – says Leila

"It doesn't matter, maybe they'll tire me out a little." – says Gaius

- Think you can handle them? – says Leila

- Dealing is a very strong word, but if it's to be a bait, I'll be a persistent bait! – says Gaius riding to Boris's knights

 The knights in black armor who used to be ten, became thirty, who became fifty, they had a lot to spend, unlike Henrich, but Gaius needed to prove himself: - These idiots, I... I am not going to prove myself to them, but to Henrich, to show that he did not make a mistake in recruiting me. – says Gaius near Boris's knights

 He took a deep breath, carrying his heavy sword, watching the amount increase more and more: - There is no better motivation than shutting up! – says Gaius cutting several knights

 The knights set out on Gaius, until he was surrounded:

- How can it? Just one against ten, let's just kill him bastard! – says one of the knights

- Hahaha! Gaius says twirling his sword, slicing everyone in half

 It seemed that that boy scared by his uncle's corpse no longer existed, now only a demon dominated his body, the feeling of killing was so good, he killed several without hesitation, they wondered how it was possible for an eighteen-year-old boy to kill so many men like that, but then they make a mistake, he was not just a boy.

 Leila and the others had not advanced yet, but they could clearly see who was in front of them, Gaius, the man who killed more than fifty men!

 Stained with blood, he got off his horse, walking towards the gate of the kingdom, he didn't look very tired, but he was injured, what mattered was that he knew he wasn't what they said he was, when the reinforcements stopped arriving, Leila arrived with her men, Gaius only exchanged glances with her, who gets off his horse:- You, how did you do it? – says Leila

- Henrich believed me. – says Gaius entering the kingdom

 When they entered the kingdom, they realized that the others had already arrived too, now that kingdom was totally theirs, Henrich and the others seemed a little worried:

-What happened? Where's Gabriel? – says Leila going up the stairs

"Some men, they took him and Marshal. – says Henrich

- What do we do then? – says Leila

- We can search things in this realm, and find where the rest has gone. – says Baron

- They are many, although Boris will be there. – says Baron

- Then we can wait for them. – says Gaius

"Until those men get to the rest, they will probably kill Gabriel and my brother." – says Alan

 Henrich raised his head, and everyone was quiet:

- How many men did we lose Alan? – says Henrich

-I... I do not know. – says Alan

-None. – says Leila

 Everyone looked at her in disbelief, with the exception of Gaius:

- Nobody? – say Henrich

- On my part, and on Gaius's part, we lost no one. – says Leila

- It was then a perfect strategy. – says Alan

-Gaius. – says Leila

 Gaius looked at Henrich:

- I understood that I was the bait, it could be anyone, but you knew that if it were me, you would kill most of the knights. – says Gaius

 Henrich smiled at Gaius:

- But what? – says Alan

- A suicide mission would only work if we lost anyone. – says Gaius

- As Gaius said, our plan worked. – says Henrich looking at the kingdom, with thousands dead

- The next step? – says Gaius

"Let's hunt down these bastards and get those two back. – says Henrich coming down the stairs

- Do you want me to start worrying about where they went? – says Leila

"Perfect, Alan and I will be back to call the rest of our men." – says Henrich getting on the horse

- The ones out there? – says Alan

- Those who are in our base... and the rest help the two find out where Commanders Gabriel and Marshal took them! - says Henrich leaving with Alan

"Are you sure about that, Henrich?" – says Alan

- Yes, we have Gaius. – says Henrich

 In a few hours, Gaius and Leila discovered the location of the kingdom they were going to attack, one of the kingdoms of Roy X's great empire, the estimate was that the invasion would fail, so the idea of a return was not so strange.

 Regardless of how it was, Henrich's men were already in their positions, ready to continue the search:

-Good... I think we'd better cross the forest, they must be coming back, or... managed to invade, I don't know. – says Leila

- We don't know very well where they will return, the trail they take may be different from ours. – says Henrich

- Why don't we divide into groups again? – says Durval

-Sure... How will it be? – says Henrich

- As you said, Gaius and Leila managed to kill most of the men without losing a man if they want to, they sure need to go. – says Durval

- My main warriors? – says Henrich

- You can go easy, just a few more and... – Leila said before the reinforcements arrived

 A shower of arrows fell from the sky hitting several knights, including Henrich who had his shoulder pierced:

- Henrich! – say Leila

 Gaius saw this situation and began to advance towards Boris's knights, without even realizing it, they were leading some knights to go along with him, they were gaining Gaius' trust.

 Confidence that was the key to victory, defeating those who would possibly kill a few more.

- Henrich. – says Gaius reaching them

-Gaius... I would go with you, but I need to be treated, so, Leila... Handpick two from the squad to go with you. – says Henrich

-Two? – says Leila thinking

 The options were Tobias, Otis, Baron, Durval and Alan, she would need to choose someone who is good in this specific situation.

- Alan e Baron. – say Leila

"Yes..." says Henrich

 With their horses, Leila's quartet was formed, to attack the rest of Boris's men, including him in this one:

- The plan... To get to the location of the kingdom, of course, by then, we will already find them, but we need to be quick! Any slip in a place we don't know, will not only put you in danger, but all of us. – says Leila

- Understood commander. – says Gaius

 Baron and Alan Ream:

-Gaius! – says Leila

-Oxy! – says Gaius without understanding anything

- Let's go guys, we have two idiots to rescue. – says Baron

 Two o'clock in the afternoon, they found traces of where they had been, and followed where Leila spoke, their deduction besides being right, took them to the place, where it seemed that Boris and his men managed to break into the castle, Gaius would get off his horse and start walking there:

- Wait! – say Alan

- Alan, let him, Gaius will make it. – says Leila

 Alan was worried about what would happen, a castle full of dead, with blue clothes, the standard outfit of Roy X's men, but Gaius ignored all this, reaching over to where they were camping:

-Who are you? – says one of the knights

 Gaius took his sword, without saying anything.

 In a few seconds, the great battle was already beginning, when they found themselves surrounded, they began to attack from all sides, the difference was that now Boris was present, killing many of Henrich's gang, when he felt free, Gaius reached the wagon where Gabriel and Marshal were imprisoned:

- There they are. – says Gaius releasing Gabriel

- Thanks Gaius! – says Gabriel picking up his things

 Gaius leans against Marshal's cell:

-Know... I didn't like you much, I think I'll leave you there. – says Gaius

- Stop playing and get me out of here. – says Marshal

- Asking for help from nobody, it got to this point. – says Gaius mocking

- When it's over, wake me up. – says Marshal

- Haha, I think you've already gotten along with someone - says Gabriel

- Let's go. – says Gaius letting go of Marshal

 Marshal would take his things and say:

- Well, I think I was wrong, it's even good to open some locks. - says Marshal going into battle

 And the battle went on, with the certain victory of Henrich's band, but in the midst of so many knights, Boris emerged, frightening everyone, but Gaius did not move, thus nailing the next great fight, Gaius against Boris:

- A swordsman? – says Boris

- A swordsman, a bounty hunter, and so many others, call me whatever you want. – says Gaius preparing to fight

-Interesting. – says Boris with his hammer

 Boris had a long beard, was bald and even bigger than Gaius, he took his hammer:

"It's been years since I last saw it," says Boris

- Hmm. – say Gaius

- Because the last one, I killed. – says Boris attacking Gaius

 To defend himself, Gaius uses his sword, but the hammer was so destructive that his sword was split in half:

"Have you broken your sword, with just one attack?" – says Boris

-Broken? Unlike you, no matter how you are, I can still kill you with it! – says Gaius ripping Boris with several attacks

 Everyone followed the fight, the synchronized blows only exalted the level that Gaius managed to reach, but Boris' mistake was to have broken his sword, to the point that he could cut his neck perfectly.

 Gaius had just killed Boris, the emperor who bothered huge kingdoms such as Jeff the Third and Roy X, he took a deep breath and looked around, and noticed that all Boris's knights who had previously been convinced of killing Gaius, were now afraid of his presence:

- You better run! Gaius shouts, making everyone around him run away

 The same ones who had previously ignored Gaius, now applauded him for killing Boris, everyone celebrated the victory against Boris' great empire, which from afar seemed so big, Leila reaches Gaius:

- You weren't even hurt. – says Leila

- You managed to defeat Boris! Let's celebrate! – shouts Gabriel in joy

- You earned my respect boy. Baron says smiling at Gaius

 But in the midst of all this battle, Marshal suddenly lost his brother, with a blow to his chest:

-Brother! Stay with me! Henrich and the others are already coming. – says Marshal worried

- Until all this concern was of no use. – says Alan

- I should have listened to you, we weren't supposed to be here. – says Marshal

- Thanks to my concern, it was I who died, not you. – says Alan smiling

- Don't talk like that. – says Marshal

 Alan looked at the flock celebrating with Gaius:

- At my end, I said that I would die with the gang celebrating, I don't want you to suffer with my death, I want you to celebrate with our victory. Alan says before falling asleep

 Marshal seemed shaken by the loss of his brother, who had always been with him, the last one left of his family.

 When they were about to leave, Gaius had a strange feeling, as if... it was too easy to beat Boris, and poking at his dead body says:

- Did you really die? – says Gaius

- He certainly died, Boris was already rusty, so it was easy. – says Leila

- Why are you belittling me? Gaius says laughing a little

"I'm just telling the truth, according to legends, he was over two hundred years old. – says Leila

- Two hundred years? That doesn't even make sense. – says Gaius

- You know, they always increase a little. – says Leila

- Just to be safe, I'm going to pierce his face. Gaius says with his sword ready to plunge into Boris's face

 When Gaius was about to do so, Leila notices in Boris's movement, he would grab Gaius, but Leila intervenes taking Gaius away from him:

-He... Is it moving? – says Gaius

- It was obvious that there was something more. - says Leila taking her sword

 Boris' body rises, he begins to open his head in the middle, revealing a face of a creature, full of horns, almost covering his face completely:

- Did you really think you would have killed me? – says Boris

- I've already killed you once, I can do it again. – says Gaius

 Leila, a little scared, stands behind Gaius:

- Hey you cuckold! He's been there for more than two hundred years and thinks he's young, wanting to fight us! – says Leila

- For us curses, he is considered young. – says Boris

-Curses? – says Gaius and Leila

- Yes, legends are real, curses really exist! – says Boris

 When he realized he was unarmed, the entity took out his own sword:

- Leila, give me your sword! – says Gaius

-Here. – says Leila

 When he picked up Leila's sword, he noticed several details:

"Why does this sword have..." Gaius said

- Gaius focuses on the creature! – says Leila

 Before they did anything, Henrich arrived with the reinforcements, everyone in the gang was present, but he decides to stop to watch the fight:

-What are you doing? Come help the... – Leila said

- Right now Gaius will shut many mouths, go ahead! – says Henrich

 Henrich wanted to prove to everyone why Gaius was in the pack, in front of an entity, his calm reassured everyone, it was as if it was something familiar.

 Puffing out his chest, Gaius and Boris began to duel, with everyone seeing how impeccable Gaius' swordsmanship was, managing to hold off most of Boris' attacks, but in one aim, Gaius was on the ground.

 Everyone saw Gaius being defeated, many just waited for Henrich's permission to attack, but of all, Henrich was the calmest, watching the fight as if it were a sport.

 As never seen before, the man who was considered dead, stands up, raising Leila's sword:

- You're persistent. – says Boris about to attack

- Look who's talking. – says Gaius before splitting Boris in half, killing him definitively

 And once again everyone celebrated, now with the certainty of victory, Gaius was lifted by Henrich's knights, while everyone shouted his name:

-Gaius... Now you are definitely one of mine, welcome to the squad! – says Henrich happily

-Ouch... Just tell me that members earn salary. – says Gaius

-Hey! This is impolite. – says Leila angrily

- Are you going through financial difficulty, bro? – says Baron laughing

 Henrich ria:

- Being alive is already a great payment. – says Henrich

 Otis reached Gaius:

"You, we fought for Henrich's ambition, that was one of the big steps, being part of it is already what he is paying us for," says Otis

 And from afar Marshal looked at the flock celebrating, not in the mood to go to them...

 Surrounded by people, Gaius finally felt at home, something he hadn't felt for years, many spoke to him, as if he were a great companion.

 Within a few days, Henrich and Gaius were in Jeff the third kingdom:

- As promised, you succeeded, I have no words to describe such gratitude, you may think not, but your feat will certainly go down in history. – says Jeff third

"We just did our part, and speaking of which, the two castles we got, one of Emperor Boris and one of Roy X's, can be annexed to your territory. – says Henrich

"You are geniuses, practically noble, your position will rise to the royal defense of my empire. – says Jeff third

-Know... Everything we achieved was to fight on the right side, I recognize that you and your family are as pure as it gets. – says Henrich smiling

- But of course, and I would like to invite your gang to a party of this conquest, which will take place right there, tomorrow during the night. – says Jeff third smiling

- Yes, I mark our presence! – says Henrich
