(Life is full of choices)

As usual, sir Best's mathematics class was fun,interesting and all smiles.

The remaining subjects were also boring as usual.

He did not go out at first break which was not out of the norm.

Whenever you see Kwabena outside the class at first break,then it means he was very hungry that day and is off to buy some food.

He rarely steps out of the class.

He life is like a programmed robot.

Read novels in his free time,does what his parent and teachers tell him,sleep or converse with his best friend at first break do the same thing at second break, and when he's hungry enough he go outside and buy himself some food.

When he got home his mother had made rice.

He was asked if he would like some fish to which he said no.

He remember his graduation day from JHS 2 to JHS 3, he made up his mind to buy the food that was the most popular food in the school. His friends kept telling him how great and wonderful the food is so he decided to taste it that day.

He used all the money he could spend to buy that food,which was rice and fish stew.

He used his teeth to tear the rubber and sucked the food into his mouth.

The moment he chew and swallowed the first one,his face turned purple.

The stew was the worst stew he had ever tasted in his life.

The fish in the stew were even more horrible with some getting stuck it his throat.

He run out of the class with his whole body trembling,went into the bush and puked all the food out.

Faeces were threatening to come out of his body. His face was pale,his hands and legs were trembling but he willed himself to the toilet.

As his Headmistress always say; when nature calls you,answer.

It was a horrible experience.

The taste of that fish stew left an aftertaste the whole day.

That was the only thing he ate that day as he could not eat again.

Kwabena was traumatised by the food and he made a promise to himself that he would never eat fish again in his life.

The next day,Kwabena looked like a zombie.

He could not move his frail body,so he played on his bed the whole day.

From that day to the present day, every time he sees fish he remember the fish stew he ate in JHS2.
