Kim Min-seok stood in front of the full-length mirror in the dressing room, taking a moment to steady his breathing. The reflection staring back at him—Seo Ha-yoon—had flushed, reddened eyes. His slightly furrowed brows carried the tangled remnants of lingering pleasure and deep humiliation.
Even in this wretched state, Seo Ha-yoon’s face was breathtaking. His beautifully flushed eyes, moist and glistening, exuded a faint sensuality. The red marks left on his wrists from being tied up contrasted starkly against his pale skin, making the entire scene unbearably erotic.
No wonder he keeps seducing men, looking like this.
Kim Min-seok muttered bitterly to himself, quickly tearing his gaze away from the mirror.
Leaving the dressing room required some mental preparation. He took a deep breath, struggling to regain his composure. However, the lingering sensation of pleasure simmering in his lower body made it difficult to focus. He remained still for a moment, waiting for his body and mind to settle.
Had he been alone in the house with Ha Jun-seo, escaping this state would have been far more difficult. But knowing that Choi Sang-hyuk was also present gave him a sliver of courage.
As he stepped into the living room, two pairs of eyes immediately fell on him. Choi Sang-hyuk was leaning against the wall, arms crossed, while Ha Jun-seo sat on the couch, pouring himself a drink.
“You must be thirsty. Here, have this.”
Ha Jun-seo offered the glass to him with a gentle smile.
Kim Min-seok scoffed, lacing his voice with as much sarcasm as he could muster.
“Are you fucking kidding me right now?”
“I’ve never once thought of what we have as a joke, Ha-yoon. Not even once.”
Unfazed, Ha Jun-seo simply placed the glass on the table, as if he had never expected Kim Min-seok to take it in the first place.
“Got what you deserved, Seo Ha-yoon. Acting like a clueless slut, getting played like that.”
Choi Sang-hyuk’s voice was low and cutting. His dark eyes fixated on the red marks bruising Kim Min-seok’s wrists.
Shame surged up inside him. He quickly tugged his sleeves down to hide the evidence. But covering his wrists did nothing to erase the humiliation burning inside him.
“Speaking to a victim like that is a form of violence too, Choi Sang-hyuk.”
Kim Min-seok forced his voice to remain steady, keeping his expression as cold as possible.
“Violence?”
Choi Sang-hyuk murmured the word, his lips twisting slightly in amusement. His face practically screamed And what the fuck would you know about violence?
“I’d like you to leave now.”
Kim Min-seok turned to Ha Jun-seo, his voice clipped and firm. Then he shifted his gaze to Choi Sang-hyuk and added,
“Both of you.”
Choi Sang-hyuk’s eyebrow arched slightly. That What the fuck did you just say? expression was back again.
Given what had just happened, Ha Jun-seo was clearly a piece of shit, but Choi Sang-hyuk wasn’t any better. The way he looked at people, as if they were beneath him, was unbearable.
What the hell was Seo Ha-yoon thinking, dating bastards like them?
Was he really the type to go for looks alone?
No matter how good-looking someone was, at the very least, they should have some basic decency and common sense. That was what Kim Min-seok believed, and he couldn’t for the life of him understand how Seo Ha-yoon had ended up with people like them.
“Seo Ha-yoon.”
Choi Sang-hyuk’s deep voice called his name.
Come to think of it, this was the first time Choi Sang-hyuk had directly addressed him like this. His body tensed up involuntarily. Trying not to show it, Kim Min-seok met his gaze head-on.
“If you have something to say, say it quickly.”
At his impatient response, Choi Sang-hyuk let out a brief smirk before speaking slowly.
“You really have no fucking clue what kind of situation you’re in, do you?”
He trailed off, briefly glancing at Ha Jun-seo before continuing.
“I left you with him to knock some sense into you, but instead, he wasted time on useless shit.”
Clicking his tongue in irritation, Choi Sang-hyuk turned back to Kim Min-seok. His black eyes bore down on him with an oppressive weight.
“Seo Ha-yoon. You’ve been living in the house I bought for you, spending my money, all while playing the role of some rich brat and fucking around with him behind my back.”
Each word was a hammer to the skull, striking Kim Min-seok with brutal force.
“So tell me—what do you think should happen to a bastard who betrays me and sneaks around with another man?”
“…This house… isn’t mine?”
“If you want to be technical, it is yours. The deed is in your name.”
“So you’re saying… Choi Sang-hyuk, you bought this house for Seo Ha-yoon?”
“Yeah.”
“And my living expenses… you’ve been paying for everything?”
“That’s right.”
“And I… don’t have a job? I’m just a freeloading bum?”
“Your only hobby is throwing money around and acting like some rich heir.”
Choi Sang-hyuk’s cold, matter-of-fact response made Kim Min-seok feel like the blood had drained from his entire body.
He had thought being inside this rich young master’s body was some once-in-a-lifetime stroke of luck, a heaven-sent opportunity. But he had been completely, utterly mistaken.
This body—Seo Ha-yoon—was nothing more than a parasite, living off another man under the pretense of being his lover.
He didn’t even know if Seo Ha-yoon was truly gay or not. But whether he was or wasn’t, the truth remained the same—he had spread his legs for another man just to keep living in comfort. And now, he had taken over this body, strutting around like some wealthy young master when he was nothing but a fucking leech.
His legs gave out beneath him.
As his body swayed, Ha Jun-seo reached out and pulled him onto the couch. Kim Min-seok sat there dumbfounded, too shocked to even push his hand away. He just blinked, dazed.
“Then… Seo Ha-yoon’s real home… his school… his family…”
His voice came out weak, stammering.
“You have no one but me. Your only way to survive is through me.”
Choi Sang-hyuk delivered the words like a judge handing down a final verdict. Each syllable echoed in Kim Min-seok’s ears with a crushing weight.
For a moment, his vision spun. He squeezed his eyes shut before forcing them open again.
What he had thought was a miraculous blessing now felt like a sickening curse.
Kim Min-seok—he—had always believed in standing on his own two feet, even if it meant living poor and alone. He wasn’t the kind of person who leached off others. He had his pride. He had never been a parasite.
But this body—Seo Ha-yoon—was.
“Don’t scare him too much, Sang-hyuk. Ha-yoon looks terrified.”
Ha Jun-seo’s voice was calm, almost amused.
Ha Jun-seo wrapped an arm around Kim Min-seok’s shoulders with a gentle touch. As he patted him lightly, he whispered softly,
“I’m fine, Ha-yoon. Even when you played the part of a rich heir to seduce me, your obvious little lies were just adorable, never once making me angry. Even when you sold off the expensive watch I carefully picked out and gifted you, I only found it cute. Of course, when I found out you were spreading your legs for that bastard just to keep living off him, I was a little pissed… but because I love you, Ha-yoon, I can let it go.”
With that same kind, affectionate tone, Ha Jun-seo tucked a loose strand of hair behind Kim Min-seok’s ear and continued in a soft murmur,
“So if you want to leave that bastard, then do it. If you need a house, I’ll buy you one. If you need money, I’ll give it to you. I’ll take care of everything, so you can keep living life the way you enjoy, just as you always have.”
“…So you’re saying I should spread my legs for you instead of Choi Sang-hyuk and leech off you now?”
“Yes.”
Ha Jun-seo answered with a dazzling smile, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
It wasn’t even worth considering. Kim Min-seok clenched his hands tightly over his lap.
“…I’m sorry to both of you, but I’m not Seo Ha-yoon. My name is Kim Min-seok. I was in an accident, lost consciousness, and when I woke up in the hospital, I was inside this body. The real Seo Ha-yoon probably died when he fell from the building… or maybe, just maybe, he ended up in my body—Kim Min-seok’s body.”
Kim Min-seok trailed off and slowly lifted his gaze, looking back and forth between Choi Sang-hyuk and Ha Jun-seo.
Choi Sang-hyuk’s brows furrowed slightly, while Ha Jun-seo narrowed his eyes just a fraction. Neither of them looked the least bit convinced. Their expressions made it clear what they were thinking—He must have hit his head too hard.
“I know it sounds completely ridiculous. Even I can’t believe it. But I’m telling you the truth—I am Kim Min-seok. I don’t know anything about Seo Ha-yoon.”
“Honestly, for a moment, I even considered staying in this body. I mean, Seo Ha-yoon is insanely rich and ridiculously good-looking, so the idea was tempting. But after listening to the two of you, I can already tell this body is way more trouble than I can handle. First, I need to find my real body and figure out a way to switch back. So if you have any debts to settle with Seo Ha-yoon, wait until he comes back to this body and deal with him then.”
“Seo Ha-yoon.”
“Ha-yoon.”
Both of them called his name at the same time.
Kim Min-seok shook his head.
“I’m not Seo Ha-yoon. If you really want to meet him, then help me. If I find my real body, I’ll find Seo Ha-yoon too. Ha Jun-seo, you remember what I asked you back at the hospital, right? I asked you to check if there was a patient named Kim Min-seok admitted there.”
Ha Jun-seo frowned slightly but gave a small nod.
“I even told the psychiatrist about this. I told them my body must have been switched. Of course, they didn’t believe me at all, but I told them the truth anyway. My name is Kim Min-seok. I’m 22 years old. I grew up in an orphanage, lived there until I aged out, and now I rent a small room in a boarding house. I was working part-time jobs while looking for a full-time job. And for the record, I’m not gay.”
Choi Sang-hyuk strode over and grabbed Kim Min-seok’s chin, forcing his face up. His grip was so strong it felt like his jawbone might shatter. But instead of showing pain, Kim Min-seok glared at him defiantly, eyes burning with resistance.
Choi Sang-hyuk held his gaze for a moment before speaking.
“This is the best solution that little brain of yours could come up with? Amnesia? Dissociative disorder? Switched bodies? You’re not Seo Ha-yoon?”
“I’m just telling you the truth.”
“Yeah, well, if you want people to believe your bullshit, at least make it sound convincing.”
Of course, to anyone else, it sounded utterly ridiculous. In that sense, Choi Sang-hyuk’s reaction was understandable. But Kim Min-seok was serious.
There was no way he could live as Seo Ha-yoon. He wasn’t cut out for this life.
“I don’t know whether you’re pulling some ridiculous act to get out of this, or if you really hit your head so hard that you’ve lost your fucking mind. But one thing is certain, Seo Ha-yoon. You. Belong. To. Me.”
Choi Sang-hyuk’s voice was slow, deliberate, each word striking like a hammer.
“And no matter how hard you struggle, that fact isn’t going to change. So stop thinking you’re smarter than you are, and just keep spreading your legs for me like you always have. That’s how you’ve survived all this time, isn’t it?”
His words were ruthless. Even though Kim Min-seok knew they weren’t directed at him but at the real Seo Ha-yoon, the sheer humiliation made his skin crawl.
“What? Spread my legs and leech off you? You fucking bastard. You piece of shit.”
Grinding his teeth, he spat out the insults, his rage boiling over.
Choi Sang-hyuk suddenly leaned down, and before Kim Min-seok could react, he crushed their lips together in a brutal kiss.
