Chapter 438: Chapter 436: Initial Completion
“Wow, is this Huaxia?”
On the plane, Étienne followed Bi Fang down the aircraft.
In the surging crowd, faces filled with Eastern features were everywhere, a sight seldom seen in Étienne’s life experience.
Étienne had visited many countries in Europe, but everywhere he went, he found similar faces, similar cultures, nothing unusual. Such a stark contrast filled him with curiosity as he looked left and right.
“Let’s go, don’t wander off.” Bi Fang waved his hand, motioning for Étienne to follow closely behind.
Two days ago, after welcoming the goose, Bi Fang received a notification from Yao Jun that the club was about to open, which is why he hadn’t come to see the goose with the others.
Unlike Bi Fang, who was a hands-off boss, Yao Jun and Lin Chang had invested not just money but also much effort into it.
Upon hearing the news, how could Étienne miss out? He insisted on coming, while Elvan and Lenin stayed in the Arctic Tundra to continue observing the geese.
So Étienne came to the Magic Capital with Bi Fang.
“Hey, Bi Fang, I want this!” Étienne pointed to a pancake stall on the roadside. Although he had never seen it before, the fragrant aroma successfully attracted the foreign boy.
Bi Fang was hailing a cab. Hearing this, he turned his head, pointed at a few ingredients, and shouted, “Boss, add two more eggs.”
“Got it!”
Minutes later, Étienne happily held his pancake roll as he got into the car.
Surprisingly, just as they got in, the taxi driver shouted out.
“Holy crap! Master Fang!”
“Hey, it’s you again?”
Bi Fang also recognized the driver at a glance—it was the same one who had agreed to not charge him but ended up with the fare automatically deducted from his phone!
Life is truly full of such unexpected encounters.
He hadn’t expected to bump into him again so coincidentally.
Speaking of which, the taxi driver scratched his head embarrassedly, finding it awkward to face the original passenger: “Haha, who would have thought, right? I was so happy last time that I forgot the charge was automatic. This time, this time it’s definitely on the house! Cancel the ride, I’ll give you a free lift.”
Bi Fang waved his hand dismissively: “I was just joking. If you really enjoy my content, just watch more videos—that’s the biggest support for me.”
It had been a joke before, and Bi Fang wasn’t one to fuss over the hard-earned money of others, right?
The taxi driver nodded repeatedly: “Of course, I always donate coins for your videos, not like those freeloaders who just watch without contributing. I even vote when I read novels to support the official release!”
Bi Fang chuckled and nodded: “Right, support the official release!”
“Big Boss, I heard your club is opening?” On the way, the driver asked curiously.
The news that the club would open on Children’s Day had spread across the globe after two days of fermenting. By now, Bi Fang’s global fan base was at least over fifty million, and could possibly have exceeded one hundred million.
Many people commented on his updates saying they would definitely return to the Magic Capital on Children’s Day to show their support. Some even from overseas said they were already processing their visas and passports and would fly over as soon as the day came.
Though many comments might be jokes, they still attested to the global fan base’s anticipation for the event.
It had been over half a year since the news of the club’s preparation began. Even though, from a construction standpoint, that was fast, for the fans, it felt like an eternity.
Ordinarily, seeing Bi Fang was impossible; he participated in no events, appeared on no shows, with his only appearance being on a talk show far across the Pacific Ocean.
Now, at last, there was a chance to be up close with the big shot—how could they not be excited?
Hearing the driver’s question, Bi Fang nodded: “Yes, make sure to come by to show your support.”
“Definitely, definitely,” the driver nodded, then added with a hint of regret, “It’s a pity my son is already in junior high. They don’t get a holiday for Children’s Day, or else I would definitely take him with me.”
“Children’s Day this year is on the weekend, and if he’s in junior high… he should get the day off, right?” Bi Fang was about to suggest they go together, but he hesitated, remembering the current educational system—junior high students are so busy even on Saturdays and Sundays that they might not be free.
“Oh, really? Then that’s perfect, we can go together!” The driver immediately brightened, but then his face fell again, “But the club you’re opening, it’s not going to be expensive, is it?”
“Hahaha, don’t worry, there’s no need to be concerned about that. Visiting is completely free. You can even sit in on lessons and watch the hunting, but if you want to take real classes and receive training, that will cost money.”
“Hunting, can you still hunt?” the driver pricked up his ears.
“Of course…”
Bi Fang chatted with the driver all the way, and although Étienne had learned a bit of Chinese, he still wasn’t fluent, simply watching silently out the window.
Soon, the car arrived at the entrance of the club, and through the car window, the driver’s mouth hung open in surprise.
How grand!
Once inside the street, the level of greenery around surged up more than just one level; the entrance was a large square with a huge fountain in the center, topped with an enormous circular platform that seemed intended for something, but nothing was placed there yet.
Surrounding the square were various sports equipment, many bowl-shaped terrains, and sports fields.
From the square’s cameras, a massive domed building, akin to a grand hall, stood with different venues within it, and behind it, you could clearly see a large expanse of ground that almost resembled a plain, with horses galloping across it.
The driver and Étienne swallowed hard, overwhelmed by the grandeur.
Even within the urban district, such a large piece of land would definitely cost a staggering sum!
The driver hesitated for a moment, then asked subconsciously, “Gosh, how much would this cost?”
Bi Fang didn’t answer; he only knew that because of this club, he had always been a “wealthy pauper.”
Fortunately, the location was secluded, and the main hunting grounds were almost entirely natural, so there wasn’t too much to worry about. Moreover, as a visible tourism project, the government stepped in with special subsidies, providing many land and construction privileges, which is how this enormous venue was built.
After saying goodbye to the driver, Bi Fang and Étienne entered the venue, led by security.
As soon as they went in, Étienne’s mouth opened wide in amazement.
Upon entering the hall, the first thing that did not catch his eye was the interior furnishings but rather the paintings on the high walls around them, reaching up to a dozen meters tall, decorated with one after another of unimaginably enormous, oversized oil paintings.
The paintings engulfed Étienne, making him feel like an ant that had wandered into a classical yet immense European cathedral at night.
Étienne walked around, looking at each painting in turn, the shock in his eyes growing ever more intense.
In the first, vast Primeval Forest, Bi Fang gripped a spear, his muscles taut and stretched as if ready to strike, like a gladiator from ancient Rome about to stab at a massive Black Bear lunging towards him.
The second depicted a broad expanse of snowfield, with Bi Fang holding high a torch, leading people as tiny as ants through the blizzard, with a fierce and vast pack of wolves following behind.
In the third, within a pitch-dark cave, Bi Fang held a torch, cautiously exploring the path ahead, and around the corner, a monstrous creature resembling a Crocodile revealed half its savage face in the dark.
The fourth showed a glimmering sea of clouds above, with drones filming the abyss, bursting out of darkness and filled with Purple lightning. On both sides, tired Geese flanked Bi Fang, who had a resolute look on his face, while Étienne behind him was filled with joy.
“I’m there too! Look, there’s me!” Étienne exclaimed excitedly, jumping around when he saw himself in the gigantic paintings.
Bi Fang, however, continued walking forward.
In the fifth, the perspective zoomed out, looking down upon an endless ocean. Above the azure sea, Bi Fang stood on a tiny raft, with a Shark skeleton arranged on it, covered in fresh blood. Below the raft, a vast Blue Whale, a Behemoth out of legend, revealed most of its body.
The sixth portrayed Bi Fang standing on the roof of an abandoned building, looking over a city ablaze like a sea of fire, with disheveled disaster victims by his side.
The seventh was a towering snow-capped mountain, Bi Fang stood at its peak, holding the five-starred red flag high in hand, with a golden, boundless sea of clouds before him.
The eighth was blank.
The ninth was still blank.
“Seems like they’re left empty for future exciting scenes,” Bi Fang thought to himself.
Had he really created so many remarkable moments without realizing?
Étienne ran over too. He looked at the ample space left for more paintings, yet all remained empty. But at the very center, there was a huge black screen, the same size as the enormous oil paintings, and he asked curiously, “What’s that for?”
“That’s for broadcasting live!”
Yao Jun came in from the hall entrance, a smile spread across his face.
“This screen will show live broadcasts exclusively during Bi Fang’s livestreams. That would be the best and most wonderful painting, wouldn’t it?”
