Chapter 5: CHAPTER 5- Preparation



Daniel headed straight home. As soon as he returned, he took a bath to clean himself up. Today had been dangerous.

'If something happens to them, I might get in trouble. I should think of a way to hide my face,' he thought.

After changing into fresh clothes, he went out again. Wandering through the streets, he eventually found a mask store. He stepped inside and bought a simple white mask with openings for his eyes.

It was perfect. It would help him hide his identity.

With that settled, he returned home.

'All things are sorted out,' he thought.

But then, suddenly, a realization hit him.

'What about school?'

He had been so absorbed in the webtoon and traininh that he completely forgot about school. He had skipped two days already!

The first day was spent training, and today was the second. He had no choice—he had to go to school tomorrow.

He headed out again, this time to buy school dress. His old clothes didn't fit him as it was based on his first body. His first body was fat and short while his second body was complete polar opposite.

Glancing at the clock, he saw that there was still plenty of time before nightfall.

'What should I do? ... Obviously, get stronger.'

Without wasting another second, he went to sleep.

His consciousness drifted away.

When he woke up, he found himself in his first body.

He stood up, feeling heavier than before. His muscles ached, but that only meant he was getting stronger.

Without hesitation, Daniel sprinted to the nearest park. By the time he arrived, he was already gasping for breath.

Dropping to the ground, he got into a push-up position and started his workout.

The first one was easy.

The second one was harder.

The more push-ups he did, the more difficult it became.

"I must beat my previous record of 15," he muttered under his breath.

His arms trembled as he reached 15 push-ups.

'Just one more to beat my previous record,' he thought.

His body lowered with ease, his chest touching the ground. But now came the hard part—pushing himself back up. His arms burned, his muscles screaming in protest.

Still, he forced himself upward.

Then, finally, he did it.

Daniel's face lit up with excitement, but he didn't let it distract him. He continued.

After a while…

Daniel collapsed face-first into the dirt.

But there was a wide grin on his face.

He had completed 30 push-ups—double his previous record of 15!

His arms felt sore, but he didn't care. Strength mattered more than pain.

Determined, he walked over to the pull-up bar. Jumping up, he grabbed onto it and tried to lift his body.

After some time…

He reached 10 pull-ups—his previous limit. His arms shook, but he refused to stop.

'Just one more,' he thought.

With all his might, he pulled himself up. His chin passed the bar.

He had done it. 11 pull-ups.

And he didn't stop there.

He kept going, pushing himself to his absolute limit.

Minutes later, his body finally gave in. He dropped from the bar, exhausted but victorious.

He had completed 25 pull-ups—15 more than his previous record!

Daniel sat on a nearby bench, catching his breath. His muscles burned, his entire body aching from the intense training.

After 15 minutes, he stood up.

Getting into a plank position, he braced himself. He held out for a minute and twelve seconds before his arms gave in.

Then, he got into a horse stance. His legs trembled under the pressure, but he held on. Three minutes passed. Then four. At exactly four minutes and twenty-four seconds, he finally dropped down onto the bench, panting.

His endurance was improving, but he knew why he lasted so long in the horse stance—his training had focused mostly on his upper body. His arms were strong from push-ups and pull-ups, but his legs still had a long way to go.

Realizing it was already dark outside, Daniel decided to head home.

Sprinting back, he pushed himself even more, using this as one last test of his endurance. His lungs burned, his legs felt heavy, but he didn't stop.

By the time he reached home, he was drenched in sweat.

Glancing at the clock, he saw the time.

11:27 PM.

Daniel had made up his mind—he needed to train all night.

But before that, he prepared a light dinner, ate it quickly, and took a 30-minute rest to regain some energy.

Once he felt ready, he pulled out his phone and searched:

"Best exercises to lose belly fat quickly."

A list of techniques popped up. Daniel studied them carefully, memorizing each movement.

"Alright, let's do this."

He started copying them perfectly, executing each movement with precision.

The night passed in a blur as he pushed his body to its limits.

By the time morning arrived, his entire body was drenched in sweat. The floor beneath him looked as if two full glasses of water had been spilled.

He had done countless exercises—

Mountain climbers, squats, planks, push-ups, horse stance, burpees, Russian twists, bicycle crunches, leg raises, and more.

His muscles burned, his breathing was heavy, but he felt stronger.

With the last bit of his remaining energy, Daniel cleaned the floor. Then, without wasting any time, he took a quick bath to wash away the sweat before collapsing onto his bed.

His consciousness faded away.

When Daniel opened his eyes again, his body felt light—there was no soreness at all.

"Ah… I'm back in my second body."

He sat up, stretching his limbs. Unlike before, there was no discomfort.

Feeling refreshed, he quickly prepared a light breakfast, ate, and changed into his school uniform.

But before leaving, he took a moment to glance at his first body.

Though it wasn't completely thin yet, he could already see that he had lost some weight.

A small smile appeared on his lips.

"It's working."

Satisfied with the results of his training, Daniel grabbed his bag and headed to school, determined to keep getting stronger.

First chapter to cross 1000 words baby!!!!! Daniel, how could he forget about school man. (Clearly not me who forgot) Also suggest me some plot.

The school will probably be the same as in the webtoon but only a bit different.
